The Samuel Hotel is in a safe, clean part of Dublin. Staff were friendly and accommodating. The room size was massive, and was clean and comfortable. Our toddler had lots of space to play. We loved the showers in our washroom. Breakfast was included in our stay and I would highly recommend this add on to any guest. It was a great way to start our day, and was delicious.

I wasn’t a huge fan of the self check in. The hotel seemed to rely heavy on tech, which is fine… but, I personally like the human connection of checking in. I usually have questions and I feel like if I’m paying a large sum to stay somewhere, the least a hotel can do is properly greet me and make sure myself and my party are all set for our stay. Needless to say, I loved the staff and the reception desk did make the effort to connect! I just think the self check in should be an addition to the Samuel’s services, not the norm.

Was able to check in early which was great. We checked ourselves in through a machine at reception this was convenient. Staff were able to book taxis for us whenever we needed. Room was spacious and well designed. The location was nice a little out of the centre but this just meant the area was peaceful at night. I was there for a few concerts, the chrome cast let me freely watch my own shows. Love this hotel, it’s very modern I stay here whenever I’m in Dublin.

Had a knock at the door from reception about a complaint I was being too loud but I was just getting into bed after returning to the hotel, this could’ve been a different room and the neighbours got confused not the staffs fault. Restaurant got my order wrong 3 times I ended up eating a completely different item cause I felt awkward asking for a 4th time.

The security of the elevator. You had to have a keycard to operate it. Very nice.

I booked a couple nights through Booking.com and then asked to stay an additional night. The rate I paid when booking directly through the hotel was more than $50 more than the booking.com rate. It seems that booking direct should: 1) remove the middle man so there is no need to pay booking.com for a referral, and 2) Honor the price secured through booking.com or next time I will just go outside and secure another night from my booking.com app. Either way, we stayed in the exact same room under the same conditions, why do we have to pay more for the 3rd night when most hotels give discounts for staying longer?

The hotel is really good, the staff friendly and helpful. The breakfast was truly amazing, unfortunatelly we could only use it 3 times because of the early tour hours (6:30 AM opening was indeed very helpful) - we were offered pack-to-go version, however did not help a lot since we could not eat properly on the coach bus. All in all, the stay was great.

One thing which was not resolved, was that one day (probably forth day) I explained front desk that the washroom power outlet did not work at all (and was the only one accepting european / north american electric shaving machine power cords) - the note was taken, however no-one came back to me to ask if it worked or confirm this was addressed at all - and it was not. Also some junior staff members did not understand properly when asked about check-out process.

The hotel is very tidy and clean and the staff were very friendly. The breakfast was great. Lots of variety, and it allowed me to have a large and filling breakfast each day, so I didn't need to have lunch and it would hold me until dinner. The location is good, close to the convention center and relatively quiet (if you don't want all the noise and commotion of the tourist areas). It is still very easy to get into central Dublin quickly, either by the very close tram stop or just walking. My room was excellent, and I loved the fact that in the shower the nob for the temperature and the nob for turning on the rainhead were two separate things, meaning once you set the temperature as you liked it then every time you turned on the shower it was always at the exact temperature that you wanted - very nice touch! You wouldn't think it mattered, but it does. Highly recommended!

The hotel exterior is tidy and clean. The lobby area modern and clean also. The hotel bar with its 1920s Gatsby esque design was phenomenal. We ate here and the food was lovely. The rooms were clean, modern, and spacious, beds comfortable, nice bathroom. The location next to the Luas lime but away from the madness of the city centre is a massive bonus too.

Only a single complaint. The AC control in the room did not seem to do anything. We tried every setting but it made no difference. Even wtith the window open the small amount that it opens we were boiling in the room and got very little sleep, despite the beds being very comfortable.

The Samuel hotel was really modern and clean, the staff were wonderful there so friendly and the hotel lobby smelt like baby powder all the time it was lovely. The lady hosting the breakfast was exceptional , she was running it all keeping it flowing lovely her name was Alexandrou or something along those lines but super friendly and accommodating. The rooms are stunning and the breakfast for 30 euros (2 of us) was wonderful all beautiful food presently exceptionally. Cannot fault the hotel situation right next to luas platform and the Dublin express coach transfers.

Cleanliness of the room was minor like a bit of dust and a few shaved hairs in bathroom. The location isn't super fab as if you have kids etc would be a bit of a walk to the centre or costly using luas (tram) up and down.

Good location with good proximity to 3Arena for a concert. Prices seemed a little high but I imagine this was due to increased demand because of the concert which is to be expected. Easy to get into the city centre either walking or on the tram which stops right outside. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Lift is secure with room keys used to access and automatically takes you to the correct floor.

We were only provided with 2 towels for a triple room booked for 3 adults which was a little inconvenient, especially as only 2 were provided again each time the room was cleaned. We also experienced a lot of noise from the room next door in the early hours.
