The reception staff were excellent and went out of their way to be helpful. I enjoyed walking around the hotel building, and I was very happy with my room, the bathroom, and my bed. The evening meal was superb and all the staff were friendly and very good at their job. I did not feel I was being rushed through the courses, and this added to the quality of the meal. The breakfast staff were also friendly and efficient and very thorough with the cleaning tables between residents. The breakfast itself was also of a very good standard, and one of my most enjoyable breakfasts in Ireland. If I visited Dublin in the future, I would aim to stay here again.

No issues whatsoever.

We enjoyed our stay at Uppercross House. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They answered all our questions and were very helpful getting us transportation when needed. Since we had a rental car, the free parking was very convenient. We thoroughly enjoyed the included continental and full breakfast service. Breakfasts were made to order, plentiful and promptly served by friendly staff! We also enjoyed using the common lounge for some late night pizza we picked up from across the road (very good!). The night clerk even brought us napkins without us requesting and helped clean up once we were done.

Location was perfect . Check in and check out times were prefect..

When I asked about breakfast and I said that I wanted a plant based breakfast the person behind the desk sort of looked at me a bit funny and I had the feeling that I wasn't really being looked after, so I actually skipped breakfast because I didn't want to go through the whole asking again.. Perhaps I have to own the problem too but when I get that feeling from the get go.. I couldn't really be bothered.

Nice enough hotel, clean, comfortable, with friendly staff. Only a few minutes by cab from the city centre, in a pretty lively area with a few bars and restaurants locally. We ate at the bar and restaurant attached to the hotel, which had decent food and drink at reasonable prices for Dublin. The hotel is just a short walk from a stop on the route of the Dublin Express airport bus. When we said we would be leaving before breakfast, the staff arranged for us to have take-away breakfast bags without us needing to ask. Our room was large enough and had a good sized bathroom - and we heard no noise all night.

To be picky, the take-away breakfast was nothing to shout about, and I hope it was not reflective of the quality of the breakfast on offer in the hotel. And of course, the price - this is Dublin, so expect to pay twice what you would in most other cities.

The room was very comfortable. Breakfast had good options between freshly prepared hot items from the menu and cold items like fruits and juices. Staff was overall attentive and helpful. One female staff member at the front desk was particularly helpful as she talked me through all the touristy spots in Dublin and even marked them for me on the map. Apologies I am unable to recall her name. Well connected by bus to the city centre.

Not much to do around the hotel in that area. One of the mugs in the room were not properly cleaned and had a tea/coffee stain on it.

The beds were comfortable and sturdy. No "sinking into the matrass" feeling where you almost fall of the bed when you lie down. Sturdy but soft, just like they should be. Plenty of pillows. The breakfast was beyond expectations, with good quality, warm croissants, fresh fruit, cerals, and a really good Irish breakfast. The times it was served were also long enough. The showers had plenty of hot water that for once was actually hot enough, and with good water pressure. The staff was extremely helpful and understanding, helping me solve several problems. I have stayed in hundreds of hotels in my life and rarely have I been to a non-chain hotel offering such quality in all areas. There really was nothing concrete to complain about. Well done! I was sad that I had to leave.

It is really hard to find anything to complain about, which really should say something. The layout of the house is a bit confusing? I just found it quaint. There was some renovation mess? But it was minimal and really didn't disturb at all. One day, I came late to breakfast and the freshly baked croissants were all gone. Which was mostly my fault. But do you see to what level I have to drop to even find anything negative?

Excellent and friendly staff. Breakfast was excellent. No issues too small. Room was perfect and suited our needs. Plenty of room in car park available during our stay. Will be back again. Pet friendly and had food and water bowls in room on arrival.

Only downside is the restaurant for breakfast wasn’t suitable for my wife to access due to mobility issues but room service was available. Just a couple of suggestions. Maybe have room services cards in rooms or offer breakfast at the ground floor at the front of the hotel for those who have mobility issues.

Uppercross House Hotel is a good choice for staying in Dublin, just 5 minutes by car from the city center. The rooms are spacious, well-furnished, and impeccably clean. The staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful, both during check-in and breakfast. The location is ideal, with good bus connections and close proximity to central Dublin. Free parking is a bonus.

The hotel corridors are somewhat outdated and worn. Additionally, the humming noise from the ventilation systems in the courtyard was audible in our rooms, making falling asleep a bit challenging.

First time stay, overnight business trip. Attractive old fashioned hotel, staff very friendly. Room very clean and comfortable with modern bathroom. Some nice touches which made me smile - real hangers in the wardrobe, and a steam iron, I can't remember the last time I saw a steam iron in a hotel, feels like never. Excellent cooked breakfast in the morning. Location is a little outside of the city centre but no big deal if you like a walk through a nice part of the city or with taxis. Overall would highly recommend.

Very cosy! Loved the decor it had very nice vibes. The outdoor seating area is designed really well also. Perfect location for going around with a Tesco right across the way if you forgot anything. Rooms were nice and I couldn't hear the traffic which was perfect. Food was delicious.

Although the restaurant was very quiet it did take a while to be served and in the end we had to stand up and look for a waiter so we could pay and leave as we waited quite a while. But they were lovely when speaking to us just not really around.
