Breakfast was really nice, lots of choice. The location of this hotel is excellent - everything is within walking distance which is so important when only there for one night. Special mention to receptionist Raphella who sorted out a small issue I had with my room on checking in and moved me to another with no fuss. Had another nice chat with her on Saturday morning when going down to breakfast. Friendly and helpful - all you look for in front of house staff and she is a credit to the hotel.

The staff were friendly and helpful but I specifically want to mention Kevin, the breakfast manager. I was aware that breakfast didn't start until 730 but we needed to leave the hotel about this time for a flight. Kevin advised that if we came down after 7am he would ensure that we could at least have a basic breakfast. We had juice, cereal, pastries and hot drinks. We were so appreciative of his efforts, he could so easily have declined our request. On the subject of breakfast I thought that breakfast staff were very efficient.
We were in room 206 and there was a noisy fan on sometimes (think it was from the kitchen).

Fantastic location in the middle of Westport with immediate access to shops and restaurants only a few steps away. Service from the staff was first class especially in reception and the breakfast room. Th room was spacious (Rm138) and nicely decorated, plus it was absolutely spotless on our arrival. Parking was relatively easy in either one of the two car parks available. Reception staff were very helpful with pre-booking tables at restaurants in town for us during our stay. We would return to the Wyatt in a heartbeat and loved the hotel and the town.
Our room was lovely (Rm138) and only missed a top rating due to the lack of soundproofing through the adjoining door into the next room. If the neighbours were talking it was was possible to hear every word and if they were being more 'intimate' then they woke you up !! At 5am it sounded like the door was open !! A simple soundproof panel between the two adjoining doors could have resolved this issue. The room rate was quite high however, the quality of the hotel was equally high and it possibly fell in line with increased hotel costs in most areas.

The Wyatt is located at the center of Westport, in the literal middle of the downtown. Westport is a small city and the downtown can be covered in a day. The hotel is an interesting assembly of several buildings and it can be complicated to find your room, but once you do you should be more than satisfied. We were upgraded to a lovely suite with a living room, large bathroom and very large bedroom with an enormous and comfortable bed. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Parking was offered underneath the hotel, but when we tried to get in, it was blocked by vans delivering to nearby businesses so we opted for the overflow parking at a commercial lot just across the street (also free) which worked out fine. Breakfast offered hot and cold selections cooked to order and was very good.
The price for being on the main square was a rather noisy pub area just beneath our windows. It was a bit too (unseasonably) warm for leaving the windows closed, so we did have to bear with it for a couple of hours. Once things quieted, it was very pleasant.

Westport is the nearest town to our family visit. Sadly, on this occasion my sister and I returned home for a family funeral. The room was very comfortable with a nice small lounge. The breakfast was plentiful. Underground parking was easy.
We initially had an issue with no heating in the room. This was rectified when reported to a member of staff, something needed to be 'switched on' in the basement. Bathroom radiator was leaking too, which might have effected water pressure. The manager said he would check it out (I reported this at check-out). The bathroom should have a bit more cleaning attention, fluff in the corners of the ceiling and toilet lid cleanable marks.

Its odd, all angles and corridors, in a good way. Feels intimate and personal in a way that chain hotels fail to do. There is a fantastic collection of artwork on the walls. The bedroom was a little small, but supremely comfortable, the bed and pillows were spot on. Plenty of towels and a bath robe and slippers provided. Cartons of water for the kettle. Nice little touches. The food was superb and there is a great selection of drinks available, though i stuck to the Guinness as it was such a good pint. The staff were friendly and helpful, it would be unfair to single one out above the rest.
Nothing not to like.

This is the first time that I have stayed here as it was recomended by a friend but certainly I will be staying here again. The staff were exceptional. The room was larger than expected with plenty of facilities and several "nice touches" as far as the decor was concerned. It was very clean, comfortable with an exceptionally comfortable bed. The bathroom was much better and larger than average. The food in here, both breakfast and evening meal were of exceptional quality and very fair value. Well stocked bar with knowledgeable staff. Even though this is a town centre hotel there is more than adequate parking. Just wished that I could have stayed longer.

I liked the staff, liked the rooms were not to far away from exit,, Breakfast was good n not waiting long for food. Loved the self service for cereals, juice, bread types
I know the hotel is old with its narrow corridor but I would hate to think if a fire broke out, Hot food could be hotter but it tasted great 😜 As for the parking all the hotel,s parking place,s were all full , easy done cos they are small in fairness. We got a parking permit from hotel to put on windscreen at the SuperValu carpark. But be aware folks that on street parking is not with the Wyatt's parking permit, lovely lady at reception told us cos we said where we parked as we booked in.

I can’t recommend the Wyatt enough! It’s a very attractively decorated period hotel. The staff were so friendly and helpful. Anything asked for like tea/coffee refill requested was immediate. Breakfast was tasty, I had smoked salmon and scrambled egg for breakfast - delicious! The staff so were so pleasant and courteous even the young ones! The location superb as well. After a walk up Croic Patrick we were ready for a pint and to sit outside the hotel at the Cobblers bar in the sunshine and watch the coming and going in Westport was the icing on the cake. The whole experience was a complete joy . Will definitely be back and will recommend to all we know well done Wyatt!

Great location in central Westport for a three night stay. Staff were excellent and resolved a problem we had with the first room we were offered (see below). Breakfast was excellent in terms of the quality, freshness and variety. We also ate twice at the hotel; food was very good and reasonably priced. Very comfortable stay and would return again to stay in a deluxe room if the price was right.
We were originally given room 109 - the room was tiny given the price we’d paid and overlooked the back of the hotel, but in particular a number of extractor fan outlets. It was incredibly noisy and things got worse. Noise from the area below our window from guests drinking plus bottle bins being emptied up and 01:45 ruined our first nights sleep after a 7 hour drive. That said, Anne on reception moved us and our luggage the following day whilst we were out. We were also upgraded to a deluxe room. Anne’s customer service and prompt action saved the day; we were ready to check out and find somewhere else to stay. I hope the management see this review and the comments about Anne who is a credit to the hotel. Avoid room 109!
