We can confidently recommend Un passo del mare. Communication was excellent. We were greeted personally at the entrance and shown around. The room was extremely clean. It was comfortable and had little extras like a kettle, tea, a big bottle of water, hand soap, shower gel and shampoo. The towels were fabulous. The setting is quaint and quiet and the property is well-maintained, including lovely citrus trees in bloom while we were there. Street parking was available. The location of the property is ideal to explore the town. There are many nice restaurants within walking distance. We did not need the shuttle service but it is definitely a convenience.

This small B&B is almost always sold out -- and deservedly so. The owners, two sisters, take pride in providing their guests with the best possible experience. And they do, including providing shuttle service to and from the airport. Our room was simply but carefully appointed and very comfortable; the bathroom was spacious. Rooms open to an inner courtyard/garden which even in November provided us with a show of colour. Our hosts' restaurant suggestion for dinner, Malvasia, was inspired. We had a fantastic meal. We would love to stay at Un Passo A Mare the next time we travel through Fiumicino Airport -- if it's not sold out. Grazie mille to our hosts.
Nothing!

Everything. The courtyard was so restful and the plants lovely. The airport was a challenge as our luggage was not available for over an hour and my phone would not connect (other phones would not either). They were picking me up and the poor lady, Elvira, kept driving around looking for me. We finally made contact and she was so nice. Kept apologizing for her English and I said she spoke it very well, which she did. Paola was at the location, she was so much fun and so kind. Was planning to see the beach in the morning before I left but she was so friendly that I stayed and talked to her instead.
That I couldn't stay longer. Nothing was an issue.

Paola, the owner is absolutely adorable and went above and beyond any expectations. Our room was perfect! Clean, a comfortable bed and everything seemed to be new. Paola picked us up at the airport and her sister drove us back the following morning. We left too early in the morning to enjoy her breakfast but she made us a perfect coffee and provided some biscottis before we left…enjoying it on her outdoor patio. She has some pet kitties that hang out and will take some loving if you are a cat lover. The little black and white one was their father’s cat and is 24 years old. 🥰 We were able to easily walk to the beach and watch the sunset between rain storms that were moving in. If we make it back to Rome, we will stay there again!!! We were made to feel like family while we were there.
Can’t think of anything we didn’t like.

We booked this little hotel because we had a very early flight from Rome. We arrived from Naples the night before and were picked up at the airport by Paola who drove us to this charming garden room, got us settled, arranged for cappuccinos at 5:30 the next morning and told us about a great fish restaurant within walking distance. What had seemed like just a brief stay in an airport hotel became a wonderful 12-hour stay. We were picked up at 5:45 the next morning by Paola's sister, who left us at the airport with a fond farewell.
Absolutely nothing. What a great surprise this place was.

We chose this place because of the proximity to the airport...AND the huge plus of having a shuttle to the hotel and back to the airport the next morning. We were pleasantly surprised to find that the "shuttle" was actually one of the hosts of the hotel. This is really more like a B&B. Our room was a separate guest room, and I assume that is the same for others...not sure. Our breakfast was brought to us to enjoy on the covered patio the next morning. This was just what we needed--great access to the airport and a VERY helpful hospitable hosts!
There really is no view, and that was a bit disappointing, but we also were not there long and, again, the convenience, friendly staff, and comfortable room far outweighed that.

The B&B was lovely, due especially to the sisters who were the proprietors. They were incredibly accommodating. Upon our arrival at the Rome airport, they picked us up at the airport and then brought us back when we left. For no extra charge! We did not have breakfast there but we could hear how much the other guests enjoyed it, and the company of the proprietors! There was a coffee and tea pot in the room which was the first time we saw that offered in a B&B in Italy. I would totally and unequivocally say that we will stay there the next time we come through Rome.
Honestly, I can't think of anything.

We were so happy to have chosen this place! Paola & Elvira were just awesome! They picked us up when we took a train to the airport & helped us with our many & heavy bags . The room itself was just lovely - beautiful & very clean! It had all that we needed for a night before a flight, happily including a garden patio, tea kettle & refrigerator! The bathroom had a rain-like shower head & consistent hot water & with its closesness to the beach & gorgeous sunsets, it was so relaxing. We had a wonderful breakfast with fresh pastries, eggs, bacon, freshly squeezed orangejuice & coffee/cappucino. Its location close to the airport & their giving us a ride made transferring there so much easier! And even before we stayed with them they helped us! We had a huge issue with my husband's mobility scooter which had broken down. It had to go home to the states with us but that wasn't til about 2 1/2 weeks later. They allowed it to be sent to them & stored til our last night (which necessitated a lot of communication & they were always so kind about it). What a relief!! With this kind of people (willing to go above & beyond) & this place, we definitely would advise anyone visiting the area to stay here!

We were picked up at the airport and driven to the hotel and then taken back to the airport the next morning. That was a huge bonus and stress reliever! The room was very comfortable and clean and the linens were lovely quality. Breakfast was continental and very much to our liking - yogurt, granola, fruit, juice, pastries, coffee and tea, and they even offered cooked options. There were several very good restaurants within a short walking distance. We would highly recommend Malvasia, a less than 5 minute walk away.

Very friendly and talkative owner. We messaged her through Booking.com at the airport after passport control, and she came right over and picked us up. Her 3 units are 10 minutes away. The units are small, but are clean and comfortable. They have a table and 2 chairs, and a refrigerator. In the quiet residential neighborhood, there is a supermarket a block away. The beach is a few blocks away, where we saw a beautiful sunset. There are a lot of great seafood restaurants in the area. The next morning, the owner dropped us off at the airport right on time.
Breakfast would have been nice, but we understand it’s difficult for the owner to provide for her 3 units. For breakfast, we ate snacks from the grocery store, and also at the Priority Pass lounge at the airport.
