We arrived early to drop bags off to go explore. Received a warm welcome and a cup of coffee and tart. Well needed after the journey. We were also able to gain access early as the room was ready. On return in the evening, I was offered water / juice also .breakfast was delicious, lovely family run business.

This is a family run hotel and the staff is very nice. The lady who prepares the breakfast was so lovely and made us feel very welcome. Yummy breakfast with fresh juice. The hotel is within a walk distance from the main attractions in Florence. There are lots of restaurants near the hotel. The rooms are very clean.

The location of Hotel Joli is perfect for walking the entirety of Florence while staying close to the train station. The room was very clean and was refreshed daily! It was so nice coming back to a fresh made bed and clean room after a long day of touring. Breakfast was a highlight with several quality premade and made to order options! Staff was super friendly and clear with building entry instructions.

There were a few quirks of the room, like a toilet flush button that stuck a bit when pressed and a slow draining shower. Nothing that affected our stay and was understandable given, what I presume, is an older building.

Great location, just around the corner from the train station, and 10-15 mins walk from most places of interest. Continental breakfast, cheese, meats and bread, along with a choice of cakes, fresh fruit and yogurt, which was in part served by the hosts rather than helping yourself. Hosts really friendly. Good size room and comfortable. It is on the third floor, but the steps were fine. There is a lift although I didn't use it. My room faced the road, but on the third floor of the building I wasn't disturbed by traffic noise, apart from the occasional car horn which is usual in a city. Able to leave bags for the day after check-out. Judge this as an excellent 2 star property, it's not 4 star, although that doesn't mean it's cheap. Would recommend.

There was a lack of soundproofing for the room, but in the five nights I stayed I was only disturbed one night when other guests in the next room arrived or returned at around 11pm, played music loudly and then used the shower and what sounded like a hair dryer for some time.

Very hospitable staff - seemed to be run by a family. The lady at the check-in counter offered me a cup of free cafe latte. The room was great for this price - spacious and comfortable. It’s also good that the toilet and shower are separate. Hotels such as this kind seldom serve hot food but they are happy to cook omelettes for you in different styles - I have heard some requested for eggs with cheese etc. The location is the best - a stone’s throw from the train station and there is a full fledged super market 2 mins walk from the hotel - all great stuff at cheap prices!

Lovely couple are in charge of the hotel. Very nice, friendly and helpful. Air conditioning was good. Breakfast was very good (cakes, sandwiches, eggs, juices, coffee, tea, toasts, croissants, fruits, cereals,...) Very good location to get to the main tourist areas just walking. 10min to the cathedral, 15min or so to piazza venezia and 40min to Piazza Michelangelo. They prepared a very cute cot for our son. It could be appreciated the part where our room was had been restored recently. Bathroom was really good! Beds were very confy. The room is cleaned and blankets changed every day. It didnt happen to me in other two-stars hotel so it was good!!

Elevator was small and old but that is external to the hotel. We could barely hear any noise from our room. Our room was located in the first floor and there were two doors to access, we only heard the noise of the doors opening at night when other people were accessing their rooms.

Room was quite clean and very well meeting at reception. Location is great and in very short walking distance from train station. It was our first visit in Florence, and I am very glad that we have picked this venue. It is worthwhile of the payment I have done and would stay again if come to Florence again. They kept our luggage beyond check-out time with no payment.

The only area for improvement would be to have a person in reception who understands and speaks in English. The gentlemen had to go and bring someone from kitchen to clarify details with us.

Convenient to the train station and everything to see in Florence. The public and private rooms are very clean. I love the rooms with a terrace. The family is the nicest. They make you feel welcome and will do whatever to accommodate your needs and wishes. The breakfast is wonderful — homemade pastries, eggs, fresh fruit, meat and cheese!! I would adjust the dates I’m in Florence if I had to so I can stay at Jolì!!!!

There is nothing I didn’t like or I would change.

We loved staying in the hotel: it was my husband and my baby (6 months), and I. The size of the bedroom was pretty good and fit all of our stuff. We like a lot the bed and the bathroom also. There was a hot water shower, so it was perfect for the weather. The location is perfect. Closed to the tram stop, we came from the airport. It is also really close to the tourist points. We did everything walking. We only took the tram to go back to the airport. For sure, we will stay there again when we come back.

I like literally everything of this hotel!!! You can start your every morning with a nice cup of cappuccino, variety of pastries and the beautiful view of Florence. The room was also great. It was clean and pretty. In addition to that, every staff are kind and nice!!! If you find a room remaining, you should book right away!!! I made best decision choosing this hotel for a long stay in Florence.
