This is a simple and great place to stay. The hotel is very close to everything including the train station or the tram station which is very useful for airport connections. Then it's walking distance from any landmarks, shops, restaurants. My room was quiet, warm, clean and the bed was very comfortable too. Nice to have a good selection of tea, coffee, biscuits at the reception. The hosts are lovely too. I would definitely recommend this hotel and return here again.

Living near Nice (France) for years, I have of course been to Italy several times and here Bencidormi managed to be a positive surprise! Roberto (owner/manager) greeted me at the front door (street level), assisted with my luggage and was helpful, friendly, flexible and service minded all the way. The breakfast treat was just that little extra! The hotel was very clean, quiet and clearly well-organised -and with a ten minute walk to the Duomo, the Via Faenza location is great... Oh, just another thing, if you like me are into opera, just talk to Roberto for that local Florentine input...! My date and I had a fantastic evening with Madam Butterfly, the performance and the acoustics at the Maggio opera house were impressive. Thank you for a great stay in Florence!

Everything was amazing, the host was so so kind, he welcomed us and gave us loads of tips about what to see in the city centre! He was so helpful the entire trip, letting us leave our luggage at the hotel on the last day and even carrying it downstairs for us when we picked it up to say goodbye. The room was incredible, the bed was massive and a very nice clean bathroom, nothing was missing! We stayed here because of all the amazing reviews we saw online and we can see it was really worth it! I would give this hotel 5 stars!

Before my arrival, I sent a message requesting a kettle, and he promptly fulfilled my request, which was very kind. The hotel is conveniently located near major sightseeing spots and easily accessible by public transport. The room, bathroom, and linens were all clean. I was pleasantly surprised that the room was cleaned daily during my stay—a nice bonus. When my adapter didn’t work, Roberto generously lent me a universal one. Although I knew the hotel was on the first floor and had prepared to carry my luggage, Roberto kindly assisted with it. Upon my arrival, he provided a detailed map of Florence, pointing out key attractions, and spoke fluent English throughout. He was kind and friendly!

Roberto is an excellent help for a first timer visitor. He explained everything about the city attraction and even the history which is an interesting additional for an experience exploring a new City in Italy. Not mentioned that the location are also just few walk away from the Train Station, all area are also within walking distance. The room and all the amenities were just excellent. I do recommend for a longer stay, more than just a night to have a maximum experience. Hope to see you again soon Roberto.

The hotel owner was a very nice gentleman. He welcomed us at the entrance of the apartment, helped us for an easy check-in, and introduced the city on a map. For our last day after checking out he helped us to store our luggages for a couple of hours. He also helped us to carry our luggages and passed us to the door while we are leaving. The room was clean and comfortable, it was not in great condition but for the price its value was very good. Location was also good, it is 5-6 min. walking distance to the train station, and about 15 min. walking distance to the city center.

The bathroom (especially the shower) was a little bit small, but it was not a big deal.

The Internet is awful. We can't get cell phone signals inside the room. At the same time, the WiFi inside the hotel is shared by all the guests which means the speed is terrible. Therefore, we can barely use the internet when back to the hotel. Besides, the towers won't be changed until the third day, which is not mentioned in the introduction. The last things is that, the mini bar(which is empty) inside the room is almost broken. It was a car fridge but can hardly close its door. Dealing with all kinds of detailed issues is a cost of energy after a long trip.

It was a nice stay. 6 minutes away from city centre and 3 minutes away from the train/bus station.

- Perfect location: a 5 minute walk from the train station and there are great restaurants and historic sites very close to the apartment. - The host Roberto was very friendly and helpful, we arrived a couple of hours earlier than the check-in time, and our room was ready. - The room was spotlessly clean and freshly renovated, and very cozy. - The bed was very comfy and it was quiet at night, even though you're basically situated in the city center. - There is a kettle, a coffee maker, a microwave and some light snacks in the reception area, which all the guests can use at their convenience.
