We had read some reviews and, to be honest, were expecting the worst but we were pleasantly surprised! We got a double bed with own bathroom. Yes, some decoration may be a bit dated and bathroom a little old but everything was clean, the bed was very comfortable and we did not experience any loud noises (we arrived around 11pm and left around 7pm). We were possibly in a good position in a room away from the tram. There is no AC but we felt the fan kept us cool enough. We were even able to leave some of our food in the shared fridge overnight. Overall, it’s a great location, reasonably priced and was just what we needed for a good sleep!

Nothing really - it was a very pleasant stay! The water can take a little time to heat up but the weather was so warm that it didn’t bother us.

Friendly staff. Very good location - from Milanо Centrale FS only 8-10 minutes walk, to Duomo - 25-30 minutes walk. There are supermarkets and some nice restaurants nearby. The tram stop is 50 m, and the nearest metro station is 10-15 minutes' walk away. The decor in the room is very simple—nothing extra—and corresponds to the declared 1 star. Shared bathrooms are always clean and tidy. There is a refrigerator, microwave, kettle, and hairdryer at the reception.

Rooms with windows facing the street are too noisy. The tram passes right under the windows, and it is very noisy. There is very poor sound insulation. Everything that is said in the hallway can be heard in the room as if it were being said right in the room.

Check in was very smooth, the owner is very kind, he allowed us to check in at 10AM. Location Close to Milan central station (6 minutes walk). Staff are very responsive, clean the room every day. There is a small refrigerator in the reception. There are many shops and markets around the hotel.

There is no Airconditionner in the room, it is very hot in summer. Lift is very small but worked for me. It fits two people with luggage. Make sure not to take the room on the street side, it is very noisy.

Despite the negative reviews, which seem to come from Gen Z with high expectations, we found this hotel perfect for our needs as Millennials who are used to budget travel. Our stay in twin room no. 26 was great—ideal location, cleanliness, and our own bathroom. The 24-hour reception was a plus, and while the WiFi was a bit spotty, I managed with my network. Some guests complained about street noise, but as a deaf couple, it wasn’t an issue for us. We climbed up to the fourth floor instead of using the charming Italian lift, which was no problem since we travelled lightly. Overall, we’d definitely return and highly recommend this place!

Easy check-in, room spacious and clean, bed was comfortable too. Not a lot of bathrooms, but at least a spacious one that we can use entirely by ourselves. Great location either for the city center or the train stations. Very good value for money.

Kitchen was a bit small and the fridge was small and partly working. Also my boyfriend wasn’t a fan of the general ambiance, a bit cold without decoration in the rooms. Personally I was fine with it.

Nice hotel situated near Milan's central train station, near a tram line and close to metro station. Great and helpful staff. Clean bathroom. There was a sink in my room which I found very comfortable. The room was warm and did not get much noise from outside. After the check-out they allow to leave the luggage as there is always someone at the reception.

In order to get to the room I had to use narrow spiral stairs. It was not a problem for me but might be a problem for someone else.

The location was great! Just a short walk from city centre and the central train station. That made it very easy to go to Milan Bergamo airport. The staff was very friendly and took care of us.

The room looked like we slept in a kitchen, but in the end it was alright as we just went there to sleep. We also had our windows facing the street with tramtail. Trams made quite a lot of noise, but fortunately they don't work at night. Recommendation for the hotel - to buy some new pillows. All the soft part inside pillows had turned into balls. It wasn't the most comfortable to sleep on, but it was very clean at least.

The staff is super nice in answering my needs for slippers as well as plug adapter, and kindly changed my room into one with a big bed with air conditioner instead of the one I booked online as twin beds, and asked me to leave my luggage at the reception desk after I checked out.

The facilities could be updated a bit since the building and the rooms seem to be a bit too old, and the wall of the room is kind of old as well.

We were passing through and just needed the basics for a one night stay. To our surprise, we ended up getting a room with AC and a private bathroom. It was very clean and since the weather was hot, the AC was a big plus. I wouldn’t describe the room as pretty but the fact that it was clean and functional, I feel it was a good deal for the money. Also, the person on the front desk was very friendly and helpful which added to the overall experience.

The elevator is very small and the room could use an update.

Hotel Eva pleasantly surprised me with its unexpectedly comfortable room. Initially expecting basic accommodations, I was delighted to find that the room exceeded my expectations. Though small, it was well-appointed and cozy, and the addition of a small toilet in room n. 26, not originally part of my booking, was a welcomed surprise. What truly stood out during my stay was the exceptional hospitality provided by the reception staff. All three receptionists were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to ensure my needs were met with genuine warmth and attentiveness. Despite its modest rating, Hotel Eva left a lasting impression, and I am already looking forward to returning during my next visit to Milan. I can confidently say that this hidden gem has earned my loyalty, and I eagerly anticipate experiencing its charm once again in the coming months.
