Top Floor Colosseo Guesthouse is in a perfect location. You are super close to the Colosseum and can see it from the entrance, as well as walking distance to restaurants and other main monuments. There is an option to take the lift (to level 3) or walk the stairs too. There is a supermarket and coffee shop less than 5 minutes away, which was super handy. Inside the apartment it was clean, spacious and had a small fridge and kettle/tea. The shower was great and it had space to hang up our clothes. It was an easy and comfortable stay here and we really appreciated the recommendations and friendliness from the staff. Would definitely come back!!

The best part of the entire experience was Valeria. She is a wonderful young lady who made our experience the best. She was very informative and personable. She made sure we had everything we needed and arranged for our transportation to and from the guesthouse. The breakfasts were great, the room was large and clean, and the location (short walk to the Colosseo with a grocery store nearby) was convenient. A/C worked fine and was a big relief with the oppressive heat of our July stay. I would recommend staying there.

We were in a ground floor room, so we did not have a window/view. That was truly the only thing missing. It was offset however by having a larger room.

Valerie was the best. She took care of all of our concerns, made it easy to get into the room even with a late arrival, set up a driver to the airport at 5:40am, and gave us a room with a view. She makes the place special. In terms of the facility, it's location close to the Colosseo, the market close by, the cleanliness of the room were all great.

Price was a bit steep especially with the exchange rate. Better signage would make it easier to locate. On the first day, it took a while for the person to respond to the front door buzzer and let us in. The door is on a busy street and standing there waiting for 5 minutes or longer for someone to respond to the buzzer while you have all of your luggage was not fun.

The highlight of our stay was the exceptional care received from front desk staff, Valeria. She was intimately knowledgeable about the area and made fabulous recommendations. She treated us like true friends and went out of her way to make sure we had arrangements - from dinner reservations to airport transportation. Overall spectacular communication from the host even as we planned our trip. The room was clean and we felt safe (there is a locked gate to enter the property, then another lock to enter the guest house). The private bathroom was directly attached to the room. The air conditioner worked and was quiet. The room overall was quiet and we did not hear other guests or noise from the street. The room had space for our luggage and the bed was a king bed (two twins next two each other), with two pillows. The bed was comfortable. The guest house is on the Top Floor (5th floor) of a building and there is a working lift, which was definitely nice.

For the price of this room, I would have liked it to have been a bit closer to the 'action'. While it's a close walk (10min) to Colosseum, it felt a bit distanced from other key attractions.

Just down the road from the Colosseum and some nice food places which was recommended by Valeria, Valeria and the staff were amazing and kind, provided a plentiful and lovely breakfast whenever we wanted it, they went above and beyond and helped with everything we needed. A big thank you To Valeria and staff, i hope on your honeymoon you get a host just as nice

Sound travels a bit between rooms and we had a guest neighbour us who sang at the top of his voice at 5am, not staffs fault, was just an inconsiderate guest, everyone who worked there was respectful and lovely

My husband and I had a great time. Valeria and Aurora welcomed us with a wonderful smile. Beautiful, clean room with a magnificent view. Yesterday when I booked I saw a review from a few days ago with a score of 2 out of 10 but it is not possible, I think the customer was really wrong, this little guesthouse is 10 and I recommend to those looking for a quiet, clean and welcoming place to book here in Rome. If I could have given 11 I would have given it that score too. Ciao !

We had a great time at this hotel. Stayed h on the 3'rd floor and our room looked a bit different than the ones on the pictures but it was very nice. Cute, big, fresh, nicely cleaned and with amazing AC. The picture of the room I post only shows the bed but it was a lot of space in the other direction, but got no picture of that.The host Valeria was super friendly and helpful, gave us a Rome map with highlights and recommendations on some food places which was very helpful.

We got nothing to complain about. Maybe the pillows was a bit less "fluffy" then we're used to but thats just a preference thing. Everything was really good.

I like that the property was very clean and comfortable. Easy to find about 15 -20 minute walk to train stations, attractions and restaurants. Although it is fairly close to everything it is a quiet neighborhood. Valeria the host was wonderful friendly welcoming and very helpful.

The room I stayed in didn’t have a full length mirror.. but that’s very minor. I would still recommend and stay there again.

The location is absolutely perfect and maybe the best thing about the place, it was very clean and everyday they changed the towels, Valeria is an absolute gem, such a great host, super friendly and helpful! We loved her :)

I couldn’t say that there was something bad about the place, only a few minuses: - It is on the 5th floor, but there is an really slow elevator (which is super small) - The room was really small - The ventilation in the bathroom was not very strong, so when you take a shower the humidity is awful

Really nice and very clean place with super nice staff. Room was comfortable and bright, cleaned daily. They welcomed us with cup of cappucino and tips about the area. It’s close to the metro station, bus and tram and you have Colosseo in walking distance. A lot of nice caffes and restaurants near by. It’s not strictly in the old city center and for me it was a big plus, as the neighbourhood was calmer and less crowded.
