The location is the main advantage of this hotel. You need not worry about the countless bridges in Venice - with luggage, they are quite a challenge. The hotel is some 100 m away (a completely flat path) from the "Accademia" stop of 'vapporeto' (of the most frequent lines 1 and 2, but also the lines to Lido, etc.), which one can get from the bus station (Piazzale Roma) and from Santa Lucia railway station. There are no crowds running here and there all day long and at the same time, one is 2 minutes from both Canale Grande and the Lagoon shore.

I have no serious complaints. The only inconvenience was the lack of a hand shower in the bathroom.

It was a great room for the price. Very clean and super easy check in process. We had to check out really early on checkout day and it was really easy. The bed was relatively comfortable. The room was clean, comfortable, and spacious for the price you pay. I would recommend this to any couples who are looking to travel Europe cheaply!

The shower was pretty small and leaked a bit. It was barely big enough to wash your body. Also I didn’t think the pillows were very comfy. The location was nice but not super convenient, about a 25 minute walk to the train station and a 10-20 min walk to any attraction.

Good location. Functional heating system and windows that can actually open are appreciated ☺️. Nice staff from Belle Arti (the only available staff for Domus). Cleaning services were good, replaced all used toiletries and towels. Good wifi connection.

Very small shower, the smallest I've ever seen. Check the door before leaving, sometimes it does not close properly (make sure to turn the handle up left) and wait 10 seconds until checking. Received only one key card. Same breakfast for the weekend and during the week, not very diverse, waiting time is bigger for start hours (7) and late hours (9:30). No fridge, minibar, cafetiera in the room. TV was not working, must be connected to internet and set up..

I loved the Venetian charm of the room, I felt like a real venetian princess. The location was ideal to explore the city by foot, and the breakfast in the garden in the morning was really enjoyable. Everyone was very nice, and I felt very well in Domus hotel.

Not really a bad comment as it makes a nice story to tell, but beware of the seagulls! One stole my croissant in the morning as I was eating in the garden. Passed the surprise, it was all good. But they're all over the city.

Everything was as described. Check-in in hotel Belle Arti next to our building. Breakfast was fine, it was the same everyday BUT for few days stay it is more than enough as you have various choices what to eat - sweet pastries, ham, salami, cheese, tomatoes, baked carrot, potatos, mashed eggs, sausages, plain and fruit yoghurt. There are juices, several tea flavors, coffees... It is in good place, San Marco sq. is just few minutes walk. House was very calm, the room was authentic to Venice design, which was amazing and we loved it. Room was super cleaned every day, fresh towels.

They should separate drinks and food during the breakfast. There is quite a queue for the food but drinks are at the end and served by one of the stuff.

Breakfast was great every morning (albeit the same choices), especially loved the lemon bars and coffee lady!! Staff was very helpful to print out train tickets when we left. Absolutely loved the oversized roofed porch area/courtyard for relaxing before heading back out to city. Located on a wider and easier to find street from Accademia bridge and close to vaporetto stop. 24 hr front desk was nice for late arrival and early checkout. Good wifi except our far corner of the bedroom. Clean.

I wasn’t crazy about the RED decor of the room walls/comforter/couch and specifically asked for a non-red room, but got it, nonetheless. I hated to complain at 11pm and just dealt with it. Room was good size but shower/sink were very small. No instructions on use of tv.

The room was magnificent and very elegant... The hotel is clean and elegant and well located, it is part of the belle arti hotel on the other side of the street. The breakfast was average and the space available for it is really narrow for the number of guests served. The staff is friendly and polite whether at the reception or the restaurant during the breakfast. It is few minutes walk to bridge All. Academia.

The Location was really great. The rooms are good and comfortable for the price. The breakfast is served across the street in another hotel but is very pretty. The ladies who run the breakfast service are so sweet and hard-working. The reception is great and helpful. Absolutely beautiful experience and stay.

Nothing bad to say at all. For the price point this is a great deal. I would go back.

It’s the perfect place to come home to after long and rich days walking through this magic city, taking in sich beautiful sights and vibes with the art Biennale. Quiet, comfortable and centrally located, steps from two vaporetto stops… The breakfast buffet is really outstanding, especially as Italians don’t eat big in the morning, they are used to caffè(latte) and bisquits for breakfast, and rather enjoy a good „pranzo“ around noontime. 10 points from me :-))

Perfect location, the hotel itself isn't manned only by the sister hotel across the road, we preferred this. Although a few negatives they were mainly little snags that could be easily sorted. We would stay again because we spent little time there and the value for money and location were good. 2 mins walk from actv water taxi stops Zattere or Accademia.

Very basic, needs updating, little issues like the handle on the window broken, shower was terrible. Breakfast not good at all, cold scrambled egg, potatoes and carrots?? Pastries were ok but as I'm coeliac there was literally yoghurt or fruit. No iron.
