OK firstly if you want total luxury then don't stay here. However for what you pay for in Venice I would recommend this hotel. We were on a budget and this met our needs. Breakfast was good, room was fine, beds were comfortable. The best part of the hotel was the location. It was 20 mins to Piazza di Marco, 15 mins from the Realto bridge. As always, I ask myself would I stay here again. The answer would be YES. Although I would love to stay at the sister hotel right across the street where we had breakfast but this is on another budget.

Nothing really, If i had to complain it would be that the hair dryer was not working. We told the reception and they gave us a hairdryer there and then. Problem solved.

A hotel with a good breakfast, a cozy room, daily cleaning and a convenient location. I don’t understand why there is such a price for it, because it could be more for the conditions and services that they provide. The room's windows overlooked a quiet inner courtyard, and the location of the hotel itself was good, 20 minutes to the center, and 3 minutes to the vaporetto (water public transport). There was no reception in the hotel itself, it was located one minute away at the hotel opposite, where there was also breakfast, but this did not in any way affect the quality of the stay. I would be glad to stay here again!

As a suggestion, "do not disturb" signs could be added since the cleaning staff came by several times a day. Also, it would be nice to give a little more shower gel, because two bags for two people for a day were not enough.

Location excellent, very efficient reception staff (treat them well and they will help, don't throw a tantrum like we saw some older guests attempt), beautiful bedroom with gilded soft wallpaper, very quiet room overlooking a street, working tv, friendly cleaning staff. The actual building we stayed at appeared to not be in use, a big empty hotel accross the street from the reception building. But it's clean and new, I thought it was charming.

Bathroom toilet flush was a bit broken, the double bed was two singles pushed together and they seperated a little, it's a great building and new but needs maintenance to stay on top of operational wear and tear. Breakfast was ok, we enjoyed the eggs, but it's a fairly small room and at peak times the queue backs up, and the average client seems to be older and of many nationalities meaning fellow guests being quite impolite to you and fighting to get ahead in the queue. This is no reflection on the staff who did a good job.

Loved the location , loved the world of Venice . Convenient easy to find location . I enjoyed the privacy , it's just a door on the street with a code and you enter a world of old magnificence of a by gone era . There's no one to bother , you just make your own way to the room . The reception is actually in a building on the opposite side of the street , where the breakfast is also .

Really small room , quite dark and closed in but the bathroom was spacious and light with fresh air and windows that opened that balanced out the small room .

The reception people were friendly and nice, we could leave our backpacks after check-out. Breakfast was delicious and enough diverse 🥐☕🥚 The hotel is kind of closed or renovated, and we have to go to another for breakfast, but it was in 1 min, so ok. The room is in Italian gorgeous old fashioned style, it was red and dark😅 so we felt mysterious and like in the past. The bathroom was really warm with shampoo etc.

Too dark and too red in the room🌹 Shower is only upon your head, you can't hold it in the hand

The location is the main advantage of this hotel. You need not worry about the countless bridges in Venice - with luggage, they are quite a challenge. The hotel is some 100 m away (a completely flat path) from the "Accademia" stop of 'vapporeto' (of the most frequent lines 1 and 2, but also the lines to Lido, etc.), which one can get from the bus station (Piazzale Roma) and from Santa Lucia railway station. There are no crowds running here and there all day long and at the same time, one is 2 minutes from both Canale Grande and the Lagoon shore.

I have no serious complaints. The only inconvenience was the lack of a hand shower in the bathroom.

I booked very last minute so I was delighted to get somewhere on the island itself and at a reasonable price. The room was lovely; small but very clean. The bathroom was also very nice and clean. The price also included breakfast (in the hotel across the road) which I took on one of the mornings and it was more than fine. I would stay again!

Nothing; since it was a last minute booking, I thought everything was better than I imagined!

Really clean and well located. Enjoyed the faded glamour of the decor. Lovely view from the window. Quiet at night. The staff were helpful. The breakfast buffet (in the sister hotel across the street) was nice and the staff were really great and made nice coffee with soya milk on request

When we first arrived the room smelled really strongly of bleach. It would be nice to have a small table or surface both in the room and the bathroom.

Located deep into the Venice. ~25 min walk from S.Lucia station. By ferry ~15. Check-in at different hotel (Bella art) also the breakfast there too. Rooms are bit old-ish. Big bed and sofa-extended for kids.

a bit spooky (empty). No reception in the building (because it is in different hotel - right opposite building)

This was a very last minute decision to stay in Venice for the night. Everything from the price to the rooms to the staff was fantastic. Even breakfast was exceptional for what we paid.

I wish it was a little closer to the train station than I realised but that is only because I had two very tired hungry teenagers who had done a two hour train journey with a broken air con in our carriage but this wasnt the hotels fault.
