Lady who runs the breakfast service is excellent. Very traditional, very customer focused and the breakfast is great. Cannaregio is our preferred location in Venice, and Al Parlamento bar is next to the hotel. The bar has a good vibe and popular with 20-30 age group. Going back to hotel, the staff are welcoming, the rooms are comfortable, and the linen whether in bathroom, on bed or breakfast table is as clean as you can get. Room and location were quiet so got good nights sleep. Need to understand that you will pay a premium for Venice and a further premium for staying during Carnivale. Also rooms in Venice and Rome can be smaller than elsewhere such as Bologna.

Breakfast room can get overwhelmed when everyone arrives for breakfast at same time.

Exceptionally helpful and welcoming staff, my stay was great and the location is 10 minutes away from the Train/Bus stations, local water bus station was just 2 minutes away and there were plenty of restaurants to choose from. We were given a personal guide of the residence and the utilities, good breakfast for the price with an good choice range of products available for the price of the breakfast, would highly recommend it instead of dinning outside in the morning.

Although from my personal preference I did not have any issues with the bed, my mother did not like the sturdiness of the mattress/bed frame, so if you prefer sleeping on a softer surface it would be recommended to bring it up, the staff would be happy to help you out in my experience :).

Great location close to Santa Lucia Station . Good service from staff and an adequate breakfast. The hotel assisted with storing our luggage. We will definitely consider booking this hotel again.

Reception closes early but there is a code to enter late.

The hotel is located on the island of Venice, close to the train station and to a few boat stations (one of them connecting to the airport). It is clean, and it has air conditioning (this is an important feature if you visit in summer). We did not have breakfast at the hotel, but the lunchroom was very nice. They also allowed us to store our luggage after check-out the last day. For a hotel on the island, we paid a fairly decent price.

Maybe the "palazzo" in the name is a little misleading. This was not exactly the doge's residence. The building is nice, and the common area is beautiful, but do not expect "palazzo" rooms, just normal stuff. The air conditioning unit was rather noisy, but it was not that warm when we visited, so we could switch it off during the night. I guess it would have been difficult if we needed to sleep with it on.

I was attending the conference held at the University next to the hotel, so the location for me was excellent (similarly the distance from the train station and airport is convenient). The staff was great, very friendly and helpful. We had a deluxe room and it was very clean and comfortable (including the air conditioning and the window blinds).

Although the room was comfortable, it was located on the first floor toward the small street right above the entrance to the hotel. This would be still okay but right under the hotel there is a bar that is open until late at night and so the noise was quite loud. Also, the breakfast did not offer any vegetables (at least one tomato or cucumber would be nice).

Palazzo Cendon is very close to the train station, that makes it very confortable to reach. It was also in a very beautiful place very near to the Canale and very close to fantastic bars and restaurants. I enjoyed the permanence there and I will turn again. The rooms are perfect and very beautiful arranged, with antiques in the italian style. Everything that you need was there and I appreciated very much the lift to the 2.floor. Also the breakfast in the beautiful small dinning-room on the ground floor was very good. The w-lan was also powerful.

nothing. I liked everything. Perhaps the program of the television was not so interesting (local television) but it´s not important if you are in Venice.

The place is really close to Venice St. Lucia railway station (8 minutes walking). It is also close to the city center: it takes 20 minutes walking to reach for example Piazza San Marco. The room is big enough and clean: the reception is available till 10pm, but then you can access using the automatic keypad on the external door (you also have a dedicated key in case you are not able to use the keypad). There is a baggage deposit that you can use from 8am to 6pm (before check-in and after check-out).

Considering that it's an historical building, the room is good enough for a quick stay.

Wonderful historic hotel away from the touristic areas of Venice, yet very close to everything. A ten minute walk from the station. The staff working at the hotel are an absolute credit to the hotel and working very hard to recover from the pandemic. I would stay again if I was back in Venice based on their service.

While my room was very clean, the bedroom could do with a lick of paint and just making it a bit more cosy. There was no bedside lamp next to my bedside, although you can turn the main ceiling light off next to the bed it’s still nice to have a bedside lamp. A recommendation to the hotel you could also stand out by really showing off the history of hotels historic past people really like a story behind a hotel!

The location was very convenient, around 10mins walk from Santa Lucia train station and 2-3 minutes walking distance from nearest vaporetto stop Cream(line 4.1 & 4.2). The room was nice, a touch of Venetian antique decor with a comfy bed, a mini fridge and a private bathroom. The breakfast had a variety of items, we loved it. Since we had an early checkout, the staff had made arrangements to pack the breakfast for us, it was a wonderful gesture.

Location is excellent - easy walking distance to the station. Lovely old building that has been well maintained and upgraded. Staff were helpful and accommodating. The view from our room over Canale Canna Regio was especially nice and there were several good restaurants next door to the hotel. Great breakfasts.
