The location of the hotel is excellent, near many bars and restaurants and a quick walk from main attractions. The triple room is fairly spacious, beds are comfortable. The staff were kind and responsive.

The only issue comes with the tub, we filled it and had a bath but once we wanted to empty it, the water came back from the floor drain, eventually causing a mess in the bathroom. I hope they fix it, otherwise it was a good value for money!

The room looked comfy and spacious, but it felt like a soviet hotel (the ceiling are really high). The bad was comfortable, and the staff was nice. Besides, I loved the paintings in the corridors, some of them even were for sale.

The price was pretty high as for a location and breakfast. There were cheaper hotels, which looked more modern. The breakfast was quite expensive compared to McDonald's. Coffee was bad, and the amount of vegetables and fruits was not very varied. I wanted to take some pastry for a trip, but they only had bread and wet waffles. + I hurt my foot at the bathroom because the shower tray had a sharp edge and there was little room between the tray and the toilet. ++ There was a tv, but no tv remote.

The location is amazing! One block about 3 minute walk from the tramway that I was able to use to get to everywhere I wanted to go. These staff was nice. Bed was comfortable. It was exactly what I needed. Somewhere clean and comfortable to sleep and leave my stuff while I went out exploring beautiful Budapest!

The room and the property look kinda old which really is fine, but know it's not super up to date looking. The only real negative I have is a weird one, the furniture for the room felt too big. Like the room was almost cluttered with a big wooden bed (which I walked into several times and have matching bruises on my legs) a big wooden wardrobe and a coffee table and a desk . It was a lot of large furniture.

Great location, close to transport and in walking proximity to the main sights, if you prefer to walk (about 15 min to city centre). The hotel is easy to find as they have a huge sign easily notable from surrounding streets. Lots of cafes, restaurants and shops in the area, both for an early start with a cup of coffee and for a fancy dinner late in the evening. The interior adds to the atmosphere of a classical hotel, a bit old-fashioned in a good way, which suits the architecture of Budapest centre. My room was really spacious, the bathroom actually had a bathtub, not just a shower cabin. Plenty of places to store my belongings. Polite, friendly, helpful and sociable staff.

As many other reviews mention, everything is a bit worn off and needs renovation. My room was on the top floor right under the roof and I had to open the windows with a creepy hook :D The ventilation could be a bit better, looks like air conditioner works only for heating.

Very reasonably priced. Staff were very friendly & helpful. My friends thought breakfast could have been slightly better for example there was no bacon. But it was fine for me as I just wanted muesli, toast juice and coffee.

Area is not best part of town & slightly farther away from things to see, but then it was 2 or 3 times cheaper than hotels on the other side of river. Air conn did not appear to work & mini bar fridge was a bit noisy at night. But overall we enjoyed our stay and the budget price was welcome; we had lower expectations than if we had paid for an expensive hotel

The hotel is close to at least one Metro station, in a central area with plenty of bars, restaurants and cafes. The hotel has a 24 hour front desk, and i found the staff helpful and friendly. The room was very spacious, equipped with plenty of wardrobe space, clean and bright There was no noise during the night and i slept well on the comfortable bed

The balcony was too small to be usable and it was locked anyway

Everything was alright. I received single room with comfortable bed, big television and dressing table. There was a wardrobe and fridge as well. All hotel looks like from 90' years. Personel was very nice and friendly (both receptionists and housekeeping), my room was cleaned everyday and I got new towels. There was no any problem with communication with hotel staff. Location is very good, 3 minutes to bus stop and 10 minutes to metro by walking. In neighborhood you can find a lot of shops, locals with food (KFC, Pizza Hut, Starbucks, asian food) and bars. It easy to get in every part of the city.

There was no kettle in a room, I couldn't make a coffee or tea ☹️.

I liked absolutely everything!! Usually I prefer room without breakfast because I like to explore local cafes and eat everyday different food :), however the breakfast at the hotel was very convenient and tasty, so I could charge my inner :) energy before to exploring such a splendid city with unlimited cultural events! Very nice breakfast with lots of choice of food and drinks for 10 euro was fantastic! Fresh lemon juice and honey I take usually on my hungry stomach before breakfast, and in the hotel they had the best Hungarian honey and freshly made lemon juice! As well local Hungarian very fresh homemade yogurt was as heaven with musli! :) Fabulously helpful staff helped me a lot during mybstay regarding any request and they provided me with map to make my tour in the city much confortsble . And very clean room which was cleaned on every single day during my unforgettable 6 nights at City Hotel Unio Superior Hotel! And i walked a lot (okay I am a runner and to walk 21 km per day was easy for me lol), but i know that many tourists used public transport to any destination and it was easy and cheap. And so many restaurants (real Indian, etc) on a walking distance few meters from the hotel, New York Cafe also very near (just need to wait a bit in cue but after that as if you are in some royal palace because it is literally the most beautiful restaurant in the world). Many other amazing cultural place are also on a walking distance from hotel: Opera House, Music Academy, St. Stephan Basilica Church, Parliament, Danube river, Boat trips on Danube river, Buda Castle, The biggest synagogue in Europe, Heroes square, Szechenyi Thermal baths and pool, amazing bridges: Elizabeth, Margaret, Liberty. As well so many cafes and restaurants for every choice, and I loved so much bookstores and bookstore cafes, just a heaven for book lovers! I liked everything!

great location within minutes of tram, bus and metro stops. plenty of places to eat and drink all within a stones throw from the hotel. very old fashioned hotel but not in a bad way, room was very spacious and no noise heard from the hallway or adjoining rooms. lift and stairs for access to rooms. hotel not far from all major attractions and the hop on hop off stop at the New York Cafe is only a 5 minute walk away.

bathroom was a little small compared to the size of the room even with it being a single (was a massive room) and on day one and 2 had a hand towel and another not that much bigger then day 3 only a bath towel no hand towel. massive tv with no facility to change to English speaking/subtitles so was never switched on after the first night.
