Room was spotless. Bathroom the same with a clever door that closed just for the toilet or the whole bathroom. The bath towel was a bath towel, in other words big, not like some hotels. It was nice and quiet. The staff were very nice and helpful. Decent bar choices and a good meal menu at reasonable prices. We had the scampi which was delicious. Lovely breakfast with a great choice. Best thing was our little dog could stay and even though we had a dog friendly room it was perfectly clean. He also enjoyed the dog treats thoughtfully provided at reception. We would definitely recommend this to a friend and will choose this hotel next time we come across via the eurotunnel as it is extremely close and convenient to get to.

Buffet breakfast with many options, such as: Fruits, cereals, omelette, buns or brioche.... etc. Room was large and good location. Beach nearby was very clean and the parking was free for 1 hour on certain places. Staff was very helpful, especially, a beautiful lady with friendly oriental look and who served breakfast on 01/01/25 at about 8: 00 am. I will recommend her for staff of the month award by IHG for being very helpful and supportive to the customers or for the 'Best customer service award', if you have any. I don't know her name but you can find out who was on duty in the dinning hall on 01/01/25, from 7 am to 9:30 am. WELL DONE MY LADY!

Breakfast time started 6:00 am when no one is awake and finishes at 9:30 am. Too little time given to those who wake up late. The third beg (other than the master bed) given was not comfortable to sleep. I used the third bed & I couldn't sleep the whole night due to the noise made by springs of my single bed while my family slept peacefully on the double bed. Beach & high street is located 12 min drive from the Holiday Inn Hotel. Not bad

We stay here when we use the eurotunnel. The close proximity to the tunnel is excellent. The beds are comfy, the room is clean, the shower is powerful, the breakfast is excellent, the staff are friendly, the price is good, there is nothing to dislike!! Dogs are welcome for an extra charge and allowed in the bar (but not the restaurant) we had a lovely couple of nice pints after a long drive. We had a very tasty salami pizza too. Prices are not silly. I cannot find anything to fault. My expectations were exceeded this visit by the superb christmas decor. I highly recommend this hotel and we'll continue to use in the future!

Good size clean room, comfy bed, our (big) dog very welcomed. Eating area set aside for the dog in restaurant. Good breakfast selection. Have stayed here before and it's our overnight of choice now as it's very convenient for the tunnel

You have to queue to get a drink from the bar. Except it's the same queue as the food ordering queue, so I ended up waiting at the bar for over 20 minutes due to the 2 families in front of me not knowing what they wanted to eat. There were 3 serving staff but only one person at a till so the other 2 couldn't serve me???!!! Maybe another till or put drinks on your room tab??? Just a thought......

Great location to catch early morning shuttle , staff were really friendly & helpful . Room was large , & bed was massive . we left early hours and the night porter was really friendly . if you are leaving early the hotel even does a take away breakfast which we were thank ful of . Sausage or Bacon roll, fruit, muffin , croissant & butter & orange juice . excellent value all included in the room price .

The restaurant was very bland and the menu was really poor & basic,. a few things wasnt available. Steaks, jackets & a selection of salad options would be nice instead of fatty chip meals .

Friendly helpful staff on reception. The room was spotless and well equipped with plenty of seating and good lighting and a very comfortable bed. The bathroom was also well planned and - which is unusual for a hotel - the shower was set at a perfect temperature, so no danger of scalding or freezing myself while having to try to manipulate the controls. Breakfast was good with wide range of food on offer. Right on the doorstep for the Channel Tunnel - couldn't have been better.

At least one of the pillows could have been thinner for those who don't want their head raised too much - but this is a very minor quibble

Clean, modern and efficient hotel with good breakfast and bar facilities. Good stop off before boarding the car onto the train for the Chunnel. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Very good start to our holiday in France

Nothing important. The water supply seemed to be very low pressure so the toilets didn't flush very well. There was no facility to set the alarm on the TV which I needed because I had a chunnel train booking to catch, but I managed with my mobile phone.

The staff were very welcoming and friendly, they even made us a pack up breakfast as we were leaving early in the morning. The WiFi signal was really good so helped us plan our trip the following day. The beds were turned down and ready for when we arrived, so we went straight to sleep - very easy as the beds were so clean, soft and comfy. The bathroom was clean as well and had great water pressure for the shower. The staff even did a wake up call for us to help start our day. Very little stress as it is close to the shuttle station. Overall fantastic facilities and location.

It was difficult to park as the spaces were limited, but I guess that might have been due to the time of year and because we turned up later than expected.

Great for what it is. It's all about the location for the Eurotunnel. Our family room was clean and comfortable but not much room for a family of 4. We use this hotel a lot though and know what we are getting. A really nice touch was the staff waiting for us at 4.30am with a huge bag of breakfast for us to take away because we had to leave before breakfast. I thought that was a very thoughtful details that not many hotel would do.

Perhaps a larger lounge area for guests to sit in the evening and have a drink/play cards because it gets packed in the high season and not much space to sit.

Really friendly check in staff who was attentive and great with our 5-year old son. We arrived early so had the car park almost to ourselves, so easy to get a close space for an easy check in. Our room was as expected with a sofa bed made up ready, a bit cramped to get around the bed but that was to be expected when the sofa is made up. The room was clean and quiet. Evening meal and breakfast providing a simple option for food, unlike lunch on.a Sunday when we tried walking to the seafront only to find everywhere shut! Good location for the car train next morning.

Lack of local options on a Sunday but that's not the fault of the hotel, just simply location. Stick with Macdonads and Tesco unless you are driving.
