I absolutely loved this place, loved the location, loved the room room was perfect for my family, bedding was great, comfortable, staff couldnt do enough for you very polite helpful, breakfast was great again staff couldn't do enough for you. Location was great we arrived early parked at the hotel and walked down to the beach and harbour which was great. Other hotel guests was polite and was no noise at night the whole area seemed great. Honestly I will definitely stay again.
The only thing my son moaned about was the single bed in the room was squeaky unsure if its a headboard that needs tightening but it was minor really.

As a family of five we rarely find places to stay in one room. This family suite hit the mark. A great place to stay the night and catch the Chunnel crossing in the morning. We had a lovely breakfast too. Kind staff. I will say that we'd been on the road for nearly three weeks and this room, while older in style, actually was way more functional than any room we'd been in. For example, there were cubbies in the bathroom where we could put things and there was a functioning shower caddy for our shampoos, etc.. This may sound basic but so many hotel bathrooms these days have NO horizontal surfaces and nowhere to put your shampoo or soap in the shower. It's those little things that can drive you nuts and I felt like this hotel room was very thoughtful. I also enjoyed hearing the seagulls : )
It's not a "didn't like" but it's just an FYI if you're trying to catch a very early morning ferry. The breakfast will be served earliest at 7:30 am.

Location is perfect, quieter part of Folkestone. Lovely new owners (Mohsin and colleague) room spotless, breakfast delicious. We have stayed several times but first stay with new owners. They're so lovely, can't do enough for guests. Parking right outside. Theres a Mexican restaurant a stones throw from hotel and 2 pubs serving food. Everything we needed. It takes less than 10 mins to drive to Eurotunnel terminal so it will always be our pre holiday pitstop. It's a perfect little spot. Hubby is there again in August with a pal on 🏍. Motorbike parking right outside.

Manager was very helpful and friendly. He listened to our suggestions re breakfast. The view from the bedroom was very nice. The distance to the Leas was only 10 minutes.
The breakfast could be made more interesting eg toast cooked longer, butter on toast underneath scrambled egg, some fresh fruit and yoghurt. Access to bathroom rather tight as bedroom not very big. No information in lounge re local restaurants, bus routes, distance to the Lees and harbour etc

Very comfortable beds and great shower. Nice garden to sit in. Helpful staff who carried my heavy suitcase to my room. Great to have parking too.
Small bath towels and only one each, A bath sheet and hand towel would have been helpful . Having to book breakfast the day before. We ended up not having it as we were out each day and didn’t return before 10pm the cut off for ordering the breakfast.

Sharon was super communicative, even staying up past the usual hours to accommodate our late arrival and made us feel instantly comfortable. The keys enabled us to come and go as we pleased, the location was perfect to get a good night's sleep in a quieter area, but only 2 minutes walk from the nearest amenities. We also brought our doggy along, which was no problem whatsoever and treated like part of the household, always greeted warmly and we were offered a larger table to give her extra space to lie down and fall asleep at the breakfast table. Oh, and the breakfast was absolutely delicious! Thank you so much. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

Loved how clean, comfortable, and convenient it was. Only stayed one night as part of a weekend away with a friend, travelled by train and did the usual sightseeing, so location is very manageable by foot, we basically walked everywhere and was great. Staff were lovely, as was the breakfast, room was basic but clean and comfortable, just what we wanted and needed.
Nothing to complain about.

A Good place to stay. Free parking and you can park on both sides of the drive. Excellent location. Turn right as you come out of the hotel, then first right and keep walking and there’s the sea. We eat a nice dinner in the Cliffe restaurant positioned at the end of this road, but best to book. You can access the zig zag path and Mermaid Beach just across the road. Turning left you can follow the sea to the quayside and a beach beyond and access the shopping area. We returned via this route. Turning right would allow access past beautiful refurbished seafront buildings, we didn’t have time to explore this side further but will next time. We had a very nice welcome at the b and b. Our room was spotless and had everything we needed for a one night stay. Very good WiFi. It’s a traditional house, the rooms reflect this, but are well kept. We didn’t have breakfast as we left early. There’s a lovely church and garden behind the house. Very good value for money. We will definitely return.

One of the few hotels close to the beach, the town and the Eurotunnel terminal that has free off-street parking onsite. Staff were first class, giving a warm welcome. But even more so going the extra mile when one of our kids left their beloved teddy behind in the rush to leave the following morning (a nightmare for parents too!). But the staff quicky recovered said teddy and even sent an email with photo to help reassure a distraught child (and soothe us parents!).
Only grumble would be the mascersting toilets. I'm sure a necessity for a building of that age but the frequent buzz of neighbour's loos all night wasn't the most restful!

Greeted with a warm welcome, from the moment of arrival till the moment of departure, you feel comfortable and at ease. Situated in a quiet area of Folkestone the location is perfect with everything you want or need only a matter of minutes walk away. The room was comfortable, clean and well equipped and was the rest of the facilities. Breakfast on Sunday morning was excellent with extra coffee and toast readily available. I cannot recommend The Wycliffe enough, a little gem and exceptional value for money.
