Location was perfect, we had a clean spacious marina view room. We were close to town and the beach, plus many attractions and cafes/bars etc, and a short walk to the bus station for destinations too far to walk. The staff were exceptional, charming, polite, knowledgeable and helpful at all times. Our room was large, bright and airy. Fab extras in the room, iron, ironing board and trouser press. Large kettle too :) The food was lovely and as a person with allergies, there was plenty of selection for me. Breakfast was delicious, and so much choice of hot/cold and a cooked selection on menu too, delicious!

I wish I’d known I should book so far in advance to book a table in the restaurant. We ate in the bar area, which actually was just fine, was the same menu and the service from the bar staff was table service and they were so helpful and attentive, even on busy evenings.

The location is very good, convenient transportation, and it was 10 minutes’ walk to the city centre. The breakfast, dinner and bar services were excellent too and the prices were reasonable. There was a lot of choice for breakfast: fresh fruit, juice, jersey yogurt, many kinds of bread and pastry and fresh a la carte options - the pancakes and omelette were very nice. The rooms and bathrooms are clean and tidy, the staff were very helpful, and they recommended a very nice local restaurant for us. We would like to thank the hotel staff and considerate manager for making our stay in the hotel as comfortable as at home.

Staff members were excellent. Front of house wonderful and always made me feel completely at home. Restaurant staff showed close attention and dedication when I had dinner. Enjoyed my meal. Loved the pool, sauna and steam room.

My first night I hardly got any sleep as I could hear a disturbing humming sound coming from above my room, like a fan or something. So my first night was ruined. In the morning I told the front of house staff and I was immediately relocated to a much better room, which was much quieter at night. Could hear the sea, which was wonderful. Many thanks for that.

Cleaned daily, ability to control the temp of the room, nice and airy room, open and airy main areas friendly and accommodating staff who couldn’t do enough for us during our stay

No disability shower even though it was on the booking had to climb into a bath when with balance issues it makes it harder to do. Lack of alternative milk in room for tea even though that information was supplied. Lack of information regarding some of the drinks left in room ie where they chargeable if used and lack of jersey information ie local tourist attractions and no hotel information book ie what’s in the room or the amenities of the hotel. this is explained on arrival but written info would be better so you can check. Limited food and drinks menu that covers bar/restaurant and room service. Would love to see this expanded on as food is lovely and would like to try more different things.

Hotel was great. Fantastic location, within walking distance of St Helier amenities. Our room overlooked Elizabeth Castle and despite holidaying as Storm Ciaran bashed the area the hotel and its staff remained friendly and professional throughout, welcoming those having been displaced by the storm and still offering hotel services throughout. Breakfasts were buffet and well presented, the bar and restaurant area were comfortable and of decent quality. I didn't use the gym but did use the pool and sauna & steam room and contrary to some reviews, found them more than acceptably sized, clean and welcoming. Parking was also nice and easy, while the Halloween pantomime was a big hit for the kids. Overall a lovely holiday in Jersey and a great location from which to base your stay.

Nothing springs to mind, all was as advertised and the staff were pleasant and professional throughout our stay. We would be happy to revisit in the future.

Breakfast was excellent and location was great for getting around, bed very comfortable and bathroom was very clean. Aircon was a good plus.

Room looked a little 'tired' and paid for an upgrade for high speed internet, tea and coffee in the room and a fridge however when we arrived the fridge had been removed and the only internet was via wifi. However later that night we were offed a room with a fridge but we had already unpacked. I would suggest that there is information in the rooms regarding facilities.

Breakfast was excellent with choice a plenty, regularly restocked, plus the option of a la carte menu. All good quality. Dinner was good value, and special mention to the sushi chef which was beyond expectation. Service excellent and couldn’t be faulted, especially Mukund and Herbert I particular. Both of them were fantastic, friendly and engaging. Front desk staff met us politely, efficiently dealt with different aspects to our stay and always on hand. The room was a good space, we had our daughter with us too. Regularly cleaned to high standard and exactly met our needs. Location was great for exploring the city and island and close proximity to the bus station and good restaurants (plus the castle!) Staff in the pool and gym area were really friendly and helpful.

Can’t think of anything we didn’t like

The location was great, close to the beach, great harbour and sea views. It was around 8 minutes walk into the centre of St Hellier. The bed was amazingly comfortable, lovely comfortable pillows. There was a singer with a guitar in the bar one of the days who was very good. The air con was great. Rooms are soundproof so nice and quiet. Nice but small pool, water was a little cold. Steam room and sauna were very nice but more info around opening/closing times would have been welcome, also children are not allowed into the pool after 6.30pm.

Not enough tea, coffee and sugar in the rooms, water from the tap tastes awful so more bottled water in the room would have been welcome. I would have liked breakfast in the room but was not sure how to arrange this as it wasn’t on the room service menu.

The location of the hotel is just perfect directly at the yacht harbour with views to the sea and Elizabeth Castle. It is really a hotel, meaning that it provides all the small but comfortable things like bathrobes, slippers, daily housekeeping, coffee/tea making facilities etc. This cannot be expected as discovered now after the pandemic in other hotels. We want to highlight some of the staff that really went the "extra mile" to make our stay as comfortable as possible, one Irish waitress in the bar/restaurant area (unfortunately we forgot her name) and Paulina at the reception who helped a lot to get back one of our T-Shirts that was unintentionally removed from housekeeping during the linnen change.

The staff in the bar area, especially during busy times on Friday/Saturday was completely overwhelmed. It looked like they haven´t been trained properly or the hotel simply had not enough staff.

The room was fine and the beds very comfortable but a little expensive we thought, for what we got. There were lots of corporate events taking place at the time of our stay, so I guess if you prefer a hotel that is a little more personal, this may not be for you. The hotel is in a good position for a walk into the town if you chose not to eat in or do a little shopping, but the food is very good if you decide stay and use the restaurant or bar area. It does have a private car park but I'm guessing it might be difficult to park there in the busiest months.

Lots of building work going on next door and the surrounding area which was quite noisy and dusty. Not strictly the hotels fault, but not what you expect for the price of a nice room for a few nights.
