Breakfast and dinner were excellent with good choice including seafood and fish for dinner. Staff were all very friendly and helpful both in reception and bar and restaurant. The lady in reception went out of her way to get us a taxi to the airport which we really appreciated. The location is good as the hotel is on the sea front with views over the little harbour and it is close to the castle. There is a bus stop opposite the hotel which has frequent buses to St Helier all day and into the evening which was great for getting about elsewhere on the island.

There was nothing we didn’t like. Next time we might choose a sea view room but as we did not spend much time in our room it was not necessary.

The location was lovely, by the harbour with tables outside for eating or having a drink. Bus stop immediately opposite. Quieter than St Helier/St Aubin and picturesque. Staff really good. Food good and generous. Room and shower room clean but no view (light well). Mont Orgueil Castle very well worth a long visit. I would definitely go to this hotel again.

I should have asked more about the room when booking. No lift (second floor room but someone carried our luggage up)

Breakfast choices and the waiter service was excellent!every morning a friendly welcome and shown to our table!juice, tea /coffee choices appeared like magic, while we decided on our menu choices etc. including toast choice! Excellent! Set us up for another beautiful day in paradise! Our bedroom was always cleaned and tidied, refilled comp.tray too!friendly housekeeping girls were so helpful to us (older folk!)

The LIVE group on the Friday last night,in the bar next door, was not appreciated at all!! The base amps almost blew us out of our bed and vibrated the floor!!honestly NOT 'Good Vibrations' !! But it was just one night!

Was a good location for us, staff were friendly and helpful, even put some of our wet clothes in the dryer for us. Breakfast serve was great and the selection was good.

We were doing the coastal path walk and breakfast from 8am was a little late for us. Electrical storage heaters in the room are not great if you have wet clothes from hiking in the rain all day and need to dry them. Didn't have any shampoo just soaps.

The hotel is centrally located at the harbour in Gorey, across from the bus stop. On arrival we received a warm welcome and our seaview room had a lovely sunny aspect and views across the harbour and out to sea. The hotel was very clean throughout and our room was cleaned on a daily basis. We had a very comfortable king sized bed. We found all the staff to be friendly and approachable and the owner also made a point of regularly chatting with all the guests. The food in the restaurant was exceptional and the menu was varied and interesting.

Friendly hotel in an excellent location. The restaurant is nice and the food extremely well prepared with great flavour. We had half board with a set menu having 5 options, though for a longer stay I would probably have dipped into the a la carte. Very good roast on the Sunday. Other restaurants nearby and the beach is lovely. Plenty of parking and a disc was provided at reception but for 24 hour parking you need to find a slot 200m or more along the sea front which wasn't a problem for us in September.

Sea view room was subject to quite a bit of noise from the outside seating below. Bed was narrow and a bit soft.

Breakfast was excellent at all times. Evening meals were excellent with service generally good, somewhat variable due to the level of diners.

The loud music on two nights of our stay was disagreeable, but the manager responded very positively when we complaqined. There were no other problems at all.

Easy to find hotel, very friendly staff, breakfast is simple but good, main evening meal is very good (but can be expensive,). Rooms are cleaned every day and so always clean. Enough space and a relaxing bed to sleep in. Location is easy to get to with the bus or by car and itself is a amazing location near the castle.

Very friendly staff and great location. Handy for beaches, port and castle. Good breakfast and decent (not flash) restaurant

Decor a little tatty but in a way that adds to the charm. Rooms are a little cramped and could do with air con
