We stayed in Venice for an academic conference and the Biennale in April 2022. The hotel is wonderfully located just at the vaporetto Station Giglio, which is very convenient. A vaporetto runs from the airport twice every hour as well. The rooms are lovely: absolutely clean with comfortable and spacious beds and a well equipped bathroom. All employees were very kind upon our arrival and very polite. The breakfast is very good as well, although in Italy you can easily go for a coffee and a croissant/brioche but if you plan to walk through the city, a big breakfast might work better for your needs. We had a room looking upon the canal on the backside, which is beautiful but can be considered too loud. If you prefer quiet rooms, maybe this one is not for you. We were absolutely satisfied with this hotel and would definitely recommend it to anyone, especially for couples. With kids it might not be the best choice but I am not sure about this. The location was absolutely great. Even though it is just nearby to the highly touristic area of San Marco, the area in front of the hotel was most often calm and quiet. The gondola rides are also just around the corner. The terrace is also a nice place to just rest in between walks or get some air in the evening. The staff was always helpful when answering questions about the area or transport to the airport.

The double size bed had two single size mattresses on it. Sometimes it is uncomfortable as they move when you are sleeping. The sides that the bar offers when you are drinking there could really be much better, considering the location. Although it is not connected to the hotel, I would not recommend the restaurant right next to it. There are much better places throughout the city for similar prices. Even the one that hotel gives a voucher for, which is just on the other street, is better.

We really liked the location. Made it easy to access from the vaporetto ride. Also close to main San Marco square but far enough away that it wasn't loud at night. Bedroom was clean and the bathroom was huge! We appreciated that they allowed us to leave our luggage after check out so that we could continue on a tour without them.

Cleaning staff was either right next to our room or above it but they started VERY early and the noise woke us up. The walls are thin so we could hear everything they did and said. Not their fault and I know they have to get it done. We just got unlucky to be right next to the commotion.

The hotel is half a minute's walk from the vaporetto stop and 5 minutes from St Mark's square and Academia bridge so a fantastic location. Hotels in Venice are generally very expensive, but we had a lovely room in this old palazzo (with an interesting history). Breakfast was excellent in the small bar/breakfast room. There is a nice little terrace outside for the use of guests and a roof terrace. We had a fridge in the room which was useful.

Really liked the room, although it had no view at all, as we on the first floor corner behind the little glass shop building. Also, there was very loud music in the bar directly below us until 11.30 on the Friday night which apparentely is a regular Friday thing. It did stop at 1130 though.

The location was great, really central. Baggage storage was included pre- and post-checkout. The breakfast buffet was diverse and delicious - great value for money. The hotel offers a 10% discount at a family restaurant nearby. The room was clean and the bed comfortable.

The air condition did not seem to cool down the room significantly. Additionally, the skylight window in the bathroom did not have built in blinds to cover it, meaning the bathroom was quite hot during the day. The breakfast room service offer is greatly reduced compared to the breakfast buffet. The hotel does not have a restaurant.

This place is excellent and has the most helpful, friendly staff of any hotel I've ever stayed in. Great location to the sites and easy to get to from the airport, via the Alilaguna water taxi. Clean hotel with a great breakfast. They answered questions prior to our stay via email and helped with any questions about site closures, train and water boat schedules while staying in the hotel. They have a roundtrip, free water boat ride to a Murano Glass place. The boat ride was one of our favorite things to do on our trip. The elevator does not go all the way to the top floors, but they carried my luggage up. We rode the elevator as far as it would go, then did stairs the rest of the way. We enjoyed taking the stairs every day, but if you have mobility issues, ask for a room on a lower floor. Just let them know. They are super great to work with. Our room was private and quiet. There is a rooftop area to sit and enjoy the neighborhood views. Wonderful place to stay! We plan to stay here again and will encourage our friends going to Venice to stay here.

We really liked our room. I think we may have been in, what was the "attic" area on one of the upper floors. The bathroom was great, but the bathtub doesn't have a shower curtain to keep water from getting on the floor when you shower. The shower head was about thigh level and when showering, you had to stand in the tub and hold the shower head over you, which made it hard to keep water contained in the tub. There were slanted wooden beams above the bathtub, that my be easy to hit your head on the beams if you are tall. I'm tall and did a couple of times. If you are shorter, it may not be an issue. Besides that, the stay couldn't have been more perfect. I do not know about the other rooms, but everyone seemed happy that was staying here.

Exceptionally located, walking distance from Piazza San Marco, nice street walk with high end stores, restaurants, cafes, gelatos. The breakfast included was a good variety of always fresh fruits and croissants, eggs, mozzarella and tomatoes, cold cuts and cheeses, coffee, teas, and juices. Staff was extremely pleasant and useful. Very clean property and well maintained. The restaurant next to the hotel is also exceptional. They offered us a free trip to Murano island.

One room we stay had mosquitos, but what to expect next to the canal? however we asked and it was changed the next day.

The hotel was an excellent location to all areas. The dock for water taxis was a 3 minute walk to hotel down narrow alley straight shot so very convenient. The rooms were very nice (very small shower but still worked out fine). The staff was very helpful. The breakfast had a large variety of food and drinks and American brewed coffee. We had a small refrigerator with 2 complimentary bottles of water which was very nice. The morning we left early so missed the breakfast and the staff gave us bags to go with a variety of small foods and drinks which was nice. There is also a cute rooftop to hang out with a drink.

The room was nice with lots of shelves and hanging space but our king bed at foot almost touched the wall with shelf so if you got up in the middle of night in dark was tricky. My kids room was more spacious so I think it was just our room.

Although I hadn't realised that I would be staying in their annex, which was a few-minute walk away across a piazza, bridge, through an outdoor restaurant and short alley, the room was very nicely decorated, very comfortable, quiet, and had the best shower equipment I've encountered (would love to have in my own house). So all together, this was actually a unique and charming experience even though I was expecting to stay in the main hotel as I had two times before when Best Western owned it (and they had a more impressive breakfast buffet). But I always enjoy relaxing with a drink on their roof terrace and it couldn't be more convenient to the Giglio vaporetto stop which makes it so easy getting back and forth from the train station.

No real complaints.

Very good location, within easy walking distance from Santa Maria Guglia Vaporetto station and also St Mark’s Square, very nicely decorated with spectacular chandeliers. You still have to go up a couple of flights of stairs to get to your elevator.

Can be quite expensive, but then there are no properties like this around the area. In the room, they have a poster which says you can get breakfast for an additional 5 euros, but when you get to the front desk, they tell you this is only if you book the breakfast online. I don’t mind the higher price of 15 Euros since they have a very nice buffet breakfast.
