Across all areas there are incredibly helpful,friendly and attentive staff. Kevin at reception was very kind and attentive to my medical situation which was very reassuring. Sudha and her team at breakfast and dinner including Smriti, Twinkle,Mahazabeen,Dasinllva and Padma, were all fantastic. They were all smiling and friendly. It was an incredibly busy few days at the hotel and all the staff were calm,friendly and helpful. Sanchez the shuttle bus driver was chatty and friendly too. Food was lovely. Rooms were spotless thanks to the team including Sammy and Umera. Good staff, with good staff morale, reflects in a good hotel. I hope management acknowledge each staff member I have mentioned. I hope management congratulate all the teams on their hard work. I asked them their names because they were working so hard and still were smiling and attentive to my and other guests queries. Thanks for a great stay. Looking forward to seeing you all again soon.

Nothing to dislike.

Room was very near to reception and my car, great, the food was fabulous, the bed was uncomfortable, the staff were very welcoming and pleasant

we paid £20 per dog per night we had two toy dogs which was £80, talking to other dog owners they paid £30 per stay, so we were overcharged, we ordered 2 double Vodka Martini, great very nice, next night we ordered them again and was told it was not allowed to order a double, as no mixer, double was £12.50 and single was £8.25 so much more expensive, we asked someone on reception was there a grass area for dogs he said no, but we found out the next day there was, so staff not all on same page

Staff were amazing and very friendly with beautiful smiles Very helpful at the reception The staff at the restaurant were excellent even at a busy time the standards never dropped Very kind ,polite, helpful loving towards my 2 kids I was very impressed Sunil,Padma and Sudha asked if the food was ok , everything ok need anything Food was nice and hot and well presented Even the guy at the pool was so friendly I just would like to say you have a amazing team and work very hard Kind Regards Rehana

To be honest i loved everything The first time I did not complain the atmosphere was positive every one was amazing

Our room was great beds comfortable, clean , great shower , good tea making facilities . Our daughter had a wheelchair accesible room. The room was very good , the bed although comfortable was a little high for her to get in. The bathroom was a good size . She had a shower and unfortunately during the shower the seat came away from the wall and collapsed to the floor with my daughter on it. Fortunately she was only bruised but it could have been a lot worse because the tiles smashed and there was a large hole in the wall . She could have been cut and more serious injuries. We reported to the duty manager who offered first aid and was very apologetic. They refunded the cost of the room and parking. If that hadn’t happened the room would have been great. The food at the hotel and service was excellent .

As in regards to the accesible shower room a seat with a support leg or legs would be a good idea. Also a lower mirror in the bathroom . An option of a lower bed for people having trouble transferring may be a good idea too.

The location was great for Crufts at the NEC and the staff were lovely. Breakfast was very nice with a great choice of foods although we didnt get it on the first day as we had to leave early for Crufts.

The food from room service and dinner in the Restaurant was not great. TV did not work properly it only had radio and the fridge was turned off in the room. We had the sofa bed made up for our daughter and unfortunately it made the room quite small as it was a double sofa. It made things very tight with 2 adults a child and a dog with a crate.

Location is great for a day at the NEC and shuttle bus was brilliant. Staff on reception friendly but didn’t not say how much breakfast, parking or total was when we checked in. Didn’t even give us a total just asked us to put our card in the machine to pay for the two night stay. Loved the table top service in the restaurant a great addition from last years visit. Restaurant on site was convenient.

Not being giving a break down of cost on check in. Not told about leisure facilities either. Food on first evening arrived at different times even though we asked for it to arrive at the same time, one person had completely finished before the other persons chips arrived. Second night our drinks arrived half way through our meal im guessing this was due to staff being over run due to a private function. Liver pool match being played on the TVs in the dining area loud tables of men shouting as we tried to eat our meal, maybe a separate area should be used for this.

Room very clean, sliding doors between bedroom and fold out bed allowed for privacy. Good food very polite staff shuttle bus a great plus (once we found the pick up points). There was a dance competition on while we were there and it didn't impact us regarding noise levels or anything. Room had bath and separate shower which was a bonus.

Was very unclear where the shuttle bus pick up point is. It's actually the train station beneath the airport monorail which we did not know and had to get a taxi instead. Just a small issue but did not hinder the trip in any way was just unclear on website.

The room was very clean, the bed was comfortable. The swimming pool was definitely a 10/10. The pool was warm and not too cold when we came out. The best swimming pool we’ve been to for heat, I would highly recommend.

Being half board was very difficult for the staff to understand in the restaurant for some reason. We told them we were half board then they tried to charge us for dinner I explained what half board meant. We then chose from the 3 course set menu as instructed once she spoke to the manger then still got charged at the end of our stay for food. Then at breakfast we were approached stating we hadn’t paid for breakfast (as we were almost finished) to find out they got the wrong table however we’re still to be told everything was fine. This did not impact our stay as the staff were lovely however we just wanted to enjoy our meal without hassle. Also as a side note; they only serve vegan sausages at breakfast. They do have only bacon as a meat option.

Location was great for the NEC and the diamond was that the hotel offered a free shuttle service at set times which were perfect for us. The lassie who checked us in was great and went out of her way to let us check in early so that we could park before the allocated check in time. Our daughter was attending Hyrox but the NEC didn't have showers and they allowed her to come back and use the shower in the spa. Absolutely brilliant for our daughter, thank you

The only thing was that we had a room for 3 people but there were only 2 x mugs, glasses, bottled water, coffee/tea/milk but plenty towels for us.

Terrible dinner from Restaurant. I had Meat Feast Pizza which was tasteless, I could only see pepperoni, cheese and ham on it, nothing else although on the ingredients list it stated that they would also be chicken on it. Very salty too. My husband opted for Chicken curry. This was diluted and tasteless too. This menu is standard for Holiday Inn so I will never have dinner in any of their restaurants. Breakfast however was good. We had a Chinese Take Away meal on our second night. Where do hotels these days only provide one chair in a room for two people?
