The hotel is well situated for business travelers as it is very near to the train and bus station as well as to the communications of the city center. The staff is very forthcoming indeed. The standard rooms - including the bathroom - are spacious enough. Breakfast is modest but tasty and well served.

One must be prepared for a confusing building structure with long and narrow corridors. The breakfast is served in a similarly long and narrow cellar where eating, catering, and coffee machines are all located in different rooms. A visitor would benefit from the trays to avoid having to go between the dining room and the food serving room several times.

Staff and management is very kind, sorted out all our requests. Thank you! Cozy and quiet room (although floor boards made a little noise). Central location, very close to train station, bus station, large supermarket, and old town. Great breakfast (much more variety than anticipated), real coffee! Breakfast area might be crowded some days, but not during our stay. Clean.

No fridge inside the room.

Decent price/quality for Riga. Breakfast was okay, and the staff was helpful and friendly. The hotel is located close to Oldtown and bus/train stations. Our windows were there into the internal yard, so it was quiet in the room.

There are not enough/uncomfortable power sockets in the room.

There were lot of people for the room they have during the breakfast. Difficult to choose and take things when there’s lot of people around. No fruit and no toaster.

Riga Ibis was clean and friendly. No problems with checking in. Breakfast was served every morning and was decent. Shower was good. Staff was helpful and was able to answer our questions. Internet was great and worked well! Hotel has a small bar in the lobby, but there is so much to do in the area that we went elsewhere, Hotel is walking distance to the old town, shopping areas, and the historic Riga Central Markets (a must see!)

Room was small but to be expected in this price range. Only complaint is that my room was ground floor with two windows that looked directly out to a patio with tables so I would hear people talking in the evening. I could not open the drapes without being visible to anyone sitting on the patio.

It's clean and taken care of and it shows. It has lots of potential

The rooms are small enough to not fit a double bed or two twin beds comfortably. I had to try hard to drag my suitcase through the tiny space between closet and bed to the space designed for the suitcase, which is also quite awful because the shelving/closet is open and attached to the floor so it cannot be moved. It takes up too much space for nothing. There needs to be a towel rack in the bathroom because there's nowhere to put the towels, and maybe an extra shelf in the shower. If these things are fixed it has a lot of potential. Maybe even do something about the breakfast space, because it's in the basement indeed, although personally I didn't mind.

The hotel's location was definitely a highlight for me us it was conveniently situated in the heart of Riga. I appreciated being within walking distance to Old Town, many attractions, shops, and restaurants. The room we stayed in was pleasantly spacious, providing ample space to move around comfortably. The bed was also exceptionally cozy, ensuring a good night's sleep.

There were a few aspects that detracted from my stay. Firstly, the breakfast area was located in the basement, which gave it a slightly confined and less inviting atmosphere. It would have been nicer to have it on a higher floor with natural light. Another inconvenience was the ongoing construction happening across the building. Also, there was a malfunction with the city's water pipes, which unfortunately meant there was no water until the morning. Hotel staff did let us know beforehand the situation and it is not their fault.

Arrived about 20:30pm, checked in all good and bar was stilling doing food, we had pasta and a pizza which were both very good. Room was small but all we needed for 1 night stop. Bed was confortable and shower was good. Breakfast was a very nice surprise, so much choice and nicely presented. The staff who we met were all very friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a good location close to Bus and Train station and the old town within easy walking distance.

Nothing we didn't like, room was quite warm on the night we stayed having been in the mid 20's during the day, but we did have A/C in the room so no problem.

The location was very good, near the train and bus station and old-town. Nice, modern decoration. Premium room was very spacious. The double bed was comfy. My child was also satisfied with the extra bed. We liked complementary mineral water, tea, coffee in the room. Breakfast was good, children enjoyed mini donuts and pancakes. Good coffee and cacao, which was also possible as take-away(to joy in the room after breakfast or to go).

The room was not very soundproof. You can hear noises from the street. It was Saturday evening, so it’s understandable. The room door was also not very soundproof, but there was minimal disturbance from the hallway. Overall, it was not a problem for us, we were on a mini-holiday anyway.

We were met by a lovely and friendly receptionist, everything was quick and professional. We arrived 2 hours early and got pleasantly surprised that rooms were ready, so we could rest after long travel. Picked a larger premium room with which was very comfortable. The bedding was clean and soft, and the coffee machine was a nice surprise too. Location is great - on the main road, near central train station, 24/7 McDonald's and Old Town. Didn't have any issues with noise as our room had double windows and blackout curtains. Great value for money for sure! :)
