I liked this modern hotel in Guadalajara, it was close to the historical center and the Metro. The room was spacious and very quiet. I have been there before X2. Everything was easy walking distance for me. Of course I like the fact there is a safe in the room.

The only things I didn't like we're the ratty upholstered chair which really needs to be cleaned or replaced, the fabric was matted down and kind of sticky. The other thing I didn't like was the shower floor which is very slippery even with the few appliques on the floor tile. Additionally there are many sharp tile edges which can lead to serious injury if one were to slip and fall, I had to use the terry bath mat in the shower.

Great location, walking distance to mostly everything. It is a very elegant, beautiful hotel.

I don't mind paying for what I consume, but ICE!!! THEY CHARGE FOR THE ICE, PLUS YOU ONLY GET LIKE A TWO CUPS OF IT. Being such a gorgeous elegant hotel, they sure are cheap!!, Plus, we had to keep asking for towels because they didn't change them after 2 days, and I actually asked the cleaning lady for a broom so that "I" could sweep our room because you could see the dirt where they never swept the floors! I am disappointed at the service in this beautiful place!

I liked the Dali Plaza Hotel staff very much. The room was comfortable, with a great view of the Guadalajara Cathedral. The location reminded me of Times Square in the 1980s. There is a lovely neighborhood 15 minutes away called Colonia Americana. I never saw anyone who looked like me staying at the hotel, which was great because it meant I had lots of opportunity to practice my Spanish, and avoid English, as I hoped to do.

I'd like to point out that I would stay at this hotel again before I mention the issues I had there. First, the water was often a yellow color in the mornings. I don't know if this was an issue with the hotel, or an issue with Guadalajara's water system. I was never able to raise the temperature of the air conditioner above 21ºC, which meant that I needed to ask the hotel for an extra blanket, wear my sweatshirt to bed each night and cover the AC unit with a towel to keep it from freezing me at night. The internet was spotty most of the time. I often had a lot of trouble staying connected to the internet.

The hotel is located in the downtown area of the city so there's tons of things to do within a walking distance, From entertainment to night life to great food. Very easy to get a taxi or Uber. Staff was very welcoming and efficient. Restrooms in lobby were clean and there is a computer available for guests to use as well as a business center for meetings or if you need to work in peace. and quiet. Wifi is ok. The menu at the restaurant in the hotel is pretty nice but you also have endless options very close to the hotel (walking distance). Also we went in and out of the hotel at very late hours into the night from sight seeing and the streets around the hotel have a lot of police presence in bicycles patrolling around, which makes walking in and out feel very safe at whatever time of day or night.

The sheets on the bed were so thin and there is only one so either take your own blanket or ask for extra when arriving. A room with a view is more expensive but the view isn't worth the uncharge at all. Stick to a regular view room. There is no clothing iron in the room, if you need one you need to call front desk and leave a 200 pesos deposit or turn in your ID.

The hotel is very close to the city center but in a quiet location. It is clean and tidy, and I always had a sense of peace and tranquility in the hotel. Although breakfast is not included (there is a restaurant in the hotel where you can have breakfast and meals) there are various options nearby. Prices in the restaurant were really reasonable, but we are the kind of people that likes to explore and experience the local life. If you want my recommendation, I would go to the Chai restaurant, 2 mins from the hotel. Excellent meals at a very decent price. There is also a supermarket 1 minute away for whatever you want to buy and a few food shops nearby. The staff in the Hotel was very helpful and pleasant, everyone without exception, from the staff in reception, the doorman to the cleaning staff. The room was ample, comfortable and most importantly for us, very clean. We chose a room with views, and indeed it was worth. The sunrise and sunsets from there were amazing, with a great overview of Guadalajara. Guadalajara is a very nice city, with lots to visit within the city and surroundings. We stayed there only 5 days, and already regretting not having more days to see a coupe of things we missed. To wrap up, after a few days also in Cancun, a trip to Mexico, that we will never forget.

The location is superb; it's in the heart of Centro Historico. I did not hear any noises from outside: no traffic noise nor loud blaring music throughout the night. The guest neighbors were fairly quiet as well. The room was clean and kept that way daily with fresh towels. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. I'm not very fond of cold so I would turn off the A/C at night before I go to bed. There is more than adequate hot showers, I simply have to wait a few seconds before it arrived. I reached Guadalajara by bus from Mexico City. Then took the Metro from the bus terminal to Centro Historico. On previous visits I would catch a bus.

I like everything about the hotel.

I believe the staff worry more about the hotel than the guest. I did not like if I invited someone over that I had to pay a 200 peso deposit for them. I stay in a different hotel every couple of weeks in different countries but fly out 9f Guadalajara a lot. This hotel always made me feel as if the staff were watching me for some odd reason.It was not a very friendly feeling with the exception of the bell hop Armando management should use him to teach the day manager and checking staff on how to treat guest.

The location

The bed was too hard, the 1st night someone went to my room and knocked like crazy, and it was a staff member looking for another Margarita from another group of girls that were really drunk. My group was a mature woman, and we were not making any scene. He apologized, but he was giving away my lats name to the other drunk girl, and apparently, they say yes, that is our friend. So I did not feel safe the rest of my nights do to this matter.

The location is perfect, in the hear of Centro Historico and walking distance to many "must see" places. The hotel is clean and comfortable, the personnel professional and welcoming.

My room did not have a window so it was strange. I am sure not all rooms are like that so in the future I would make sure to ask for a room with a window. That was the only downside to my stay.
