We stayed 3 nights, the city center, collectivo station, is 15 min walking distance shops are close by, taxis are frequent around the area and they are cheap. The room was big and the bed was huge and comfortable, the AC worked well. The shower had warm water It offered breakfast buffet that with eggs made by request, the food was good fresh fruit, cooked food and pastrys. The recepcionist offered laundry and taxi service. Over all we liked it

Could be improved if there was mini refrigetaror in the room There was nobody in the pool, because there were no sunbeds or rest areas around, the restaurand tables were immediatelly next to it it so one didnt feel like its there for actual swimming

Nice staff, great location we had a car and there’s off street parking. Super Safe and secure location. Great breakfast included! I was there for work and play and they had really stable WiFi which is rare in MX. I was able to work in the restaurant area and drink cocktails by the pool. Stayed there a week. It’s nice because the hotel has a bunch of services like renting scooters, tours, etc We did the laundry service and it was awesome with same day delivery. This place is also a restaurant destination for people who aren’t staying at the hotel. Great value! We will definitely come back!

The stairs in the restaurant are down right dangerous and steep! I felt bad for the elders trying to navigate them.

The landscaping around food area is attractive. Breakfast is a buffet laid out upstairs. You eat looking out & over palm trees. There is a really yummy selection of traditional Yucatán to European style breakfast fare. The background music is light, upbeat & always different-perfect for launching you into a day of Yucatán adventure.

The standard coffee could have been better. The neighborhood turkeys and chickens squawking at 3 in the morning but you get used to that if you stay long enough. I stayed 4 weeks. Now that I’m back in Britain, I miss the middle of the night squawking.

This hotel was very cute. The restaurant for breakfast was very aesthetically pleasing and I loved the outdoor element. The buffet had various options, but the best part was the eggs-your-way station. We were only here for one night and we were able to rest well. ~15 minute walk to the ADO terminal, ~10 minute walk to the centro area.

The road to the hotel is under construction which made access a little difficult, but that is not their fault.

Clean and nice room, comfortable bed. Friendly staff. Excellent restaurant downstairs, the Mexican grill plate was one of our best meals during our stay in Mexico. Good location, very close to the city center.

Quite a few choice for breakfast, however taste was not that good except the scrambled egg and fried plantain. Waffle and pancake were cold, stale and had a weird aftertaste.

We were able to check in late which was great. Breakfast was nice and fresh. The location is comfortable too and the hotel has a nice ambient. No problem with parking.

There quite a lot of noise from the animals nearby, specifically chickens and dogs.

Picturesque hotel, within a not so nice neighborhood, an oasis. Very confortable rooms and attentive staff. Very close to all the places we wanted to visit. Chichen Itza & Ek Balam were only 45 min. Away. 5 amazing Cenotes within 10 min. Well worth visiting them all..

Breakfast variety, same thing everyday. It was nice when they had the chef preparing the local eggs and omelets.

The room is very cozy, beds are very confortable, we had a table and chairs inside the room. We had 2 people with limited mobility and the shower worked great as there were no steps. We asked for a cover as we were cold one night and they provided it.

The swimming pool was a bit dirty, the breakfast was not good, the waffles tasted bitter, no juice for flavored water, the coffee was very, very, very light.

Loved the room and all of the decor. Sylvia is an excellent host, speaks very good English and it is a well run family business. Good wifi in the room and shower was very good. There are scooters and bicycles to rent here. We walked the 10 or so minutes to cenote Zaci. The dinner we had in the restaurant was absolutely delicious! Having access to two pools (there is one right in the restaurant as well) was a great addition although we didn't end up using as we visited two cenotes in the area. There is a very good breakfast which I forgot about the first morning so make sure to avail! Fresh fruit, breads and savoury dish available. The fresh watermelon juice was delicious! We availed of a private taxi tour through Sylvia which was amazing as we were able to beat the major crowds to Chichen Itza and Cenote Tsukan (we almost had it to ourselves). Would highly recommend Casa San Juan to anyone staying in Valladolid.

There is a rooster that seemed to crow all day and all night if you are a light sleeper definitely bring earplugs. This didnt bother me but I did have earplugs. The location is very good but because the sign with the name written on it only faces the direction of traffic (it's all one way for cars) we walked past it while walking once or twice. If you get a Mexican simcard it would make navigating the town much easier.

Lovely place to stay while in Valladolid, very good location with parking. Staff were very friendly and room was cleaned daily.

The room’s ventilation was not great so it was getting stuffy often. The shower had very lower water pressure. Breakfast had a lot of options for meat-eaters but few to none for non-meat eaters or other dietary requirements.
