The hotel is conveniently located in Jyatha, close to Thamel the main tourist area, without being in the really crowded and noisy part of the area. The first room I was assigned was clean, but a bit dark because it had a small window facing the walls of the building itself, and the next day I was allocated a room with window without any problem. The rooms have a small fridge (with content against payment), tv, closet with hangers, comfortable bed. Rooms and linens are clean and well maintained. The hotel has a lift for the upper floors. The hotel offers the opportunity to store luggage and an early morning wake-up call. The staff of the hotel is friendly and cooperative.

Nothing besides the rather dark room, which was quickly solved by the hotel.

The staff at reception were always pleasant and smiley. I was always greeted kindly by them and enjoyed my conversations throughout my time at the grand Yak. Also very helpful with advice about my stay in Nepal. I stayed here twice during my Nepal trip. The location of the hotel is ideal for restaurants and bars in the Thamel area everything being a short walk. It isn't noisy at night either. Rooms are well maintained and well equipped with a mini bar if need be. Excellent value for money I thought. Thanks to the staff for the warm welcome!

Nice hotel, staff is very welcoming. Smriti, Safala and Amresh has been exceptional host throughout my stay, they go beyond all to help you with everything you need. Good breakfast option with decent coffee. Central location but in very quiet street. The rooms are well equiped with all the amenities you need. I absolutely loved the hot shower. Everything is clean and cozy. This hotel is highly recommended if you want to make your stay easy and comfortable. I will be back for sure!

Nice comfortable hotel. The staff was very attentive and friendly. The room was clean and sufficient in size. The lift (elevator) was an added plus. The location in the Thamel area of Kathmandu was about a 30 minute walk to Durbar Square. WiFi was good. Would recommend for anyone who is budget conscious and wishes to stay in a nice Hotel.

Nice hotel in the tourist area in Nepal. The staff is very friendly, helped us with all kinds of things. Our room was large, clean and had a huge and comfy bed. It's in a side street that is less busy, so we didn't have any problems with noise at night.

The bathroom was quite small, and when you shower everything gets wet, which is normal in Asia I guess. But it was fine, clean, and the shower was always hot :)

The hotel itself was at good location, with excellent infrastructures, at a budget friendly cost. The hotel staff were highly efficient with good hospitality. The room had all the amenities and securities as mentioned. I loved my stay here and I look forward to more frequent visits. Thank you for the hospitality.🙏🇳🇵

Everything was a great experience to me.

The staff. it’s a basic hotel yet along with a very comfy mattress, all the amenities work well, fridge, tv, shower etc - but mostly the most charming staff who really try to please. so great value

A little hard for taxis to find, so get familiar with local landmarks and it’s then easy

Great location in a quiet area of Thamel (which can be difficult to come by!) with lots of great options nearby for food. The room was very comfortable and clean. It had a fridge and kettle which was useful. The staff were really helpful! Great value for money, would recommend

This was a very clean hotel with all the necessary facilities and kind staff. It was also very nice that we weren’t asked to give a review, which is usually done by many others.

It wasn’t so quiet all the time, but still better than most other places in big cities in India/Nepal.

Breakfast was simpel but good also had a night dinner in the hotel. The location for me was perfect a bit on the outside of the center center. Way more quiet not so much trafic. That i really liked and its just a small walk to the shops, bars and restaurants. The staff was really friendly and helpful with alot good tips and information.
