Absolutely everything about the hotel. Right from the time I checked in, Rabin was very helpful. Always quick to respond to requests. Room was excellent and clean, bathroom and toiletries excellent as well. Water bottles replenished everyday. Lovely breakfast every morning. Coffee anytime on request. The owner Mr Surendra called me in advance to advice me how to plan my trip and arranged for a pickup at night when I landed. After reaching he made a plan for the remainder of my stay and booked all the bus / flight / hotels and packages until my return. You won't find a friendlier, more helpful person than Surendra. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone and it is in the Happening place of Thamel. You get everything you need within a 10 minute walk. Great place 👍👍👍

Nothing to dislike

I highly recommend staying here! Super convenient close to everything. The staff was so helpful, he was on point my questions I had he was able to provide me with excellent feedbacks and suggestions. Made sure I was comfortable the whole time. I had requested a pickup/ drop off service at the airport the driver was phenomenal great service. I also requested a taxi for the day. Front desk took care of all my needs and wants. The room was super comfortable and cozy they provided towels, slippers, soaps, water bottles in the room ac worked well etc…. Breakfast was Delicious as well. 10/10

The place is immaculate, the comfiest beds, the kindest and most helpful staff. Front of house is Aayush and he couldn’t do enough, so polite and helpful. Another great thing, the boss is called Surendra.. He is the best tour guide, you tell him what you’re interested in doing and takes care of everything, caters it to you, gives you a complete itinerary, including of transfers and meals and great rates on other accommodation in other cities… completely reasonable price for package deals, no sense that he is trying to make fast money, he wants you to enjoy your time so you keep coming back because you’ll love his plans. Linked us up with the best knowledgeable tour guide in Pokhara called Bharat Adhikari. This bloke has decades of knowledge on all hikes, wildlife, plants, history and everything Nepal, such a great guy and really takes care of you. Thanks to everyone.

This was an exceptional find. In fact we stayed twice on our Nepal trip. It is well located on a quiet street but close to the action. The road are modern clean and comfortable. The beds soft, good linens and sheets. The breakfast is nice. The wifi is reliable. The standout to this hotel is the staff. Particularly Aayush. He so clearly went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and at home. He helped with our taxi bookings and laundry and they stored a bag for us as we traveled around between our two bookings. When we returned for our second booking pirn daughter said, feels like coming home. Aayush played a big role in that. The room value was also exceptional. We stayed in many Nepali hotels and this qa scleary the best blend of cost, quality, and staff.

In the two rooms we had, both showers could have used some extra bleach in the grout.

We like it the place a lot, it's in the center of thamel in a safe place near other hotels. The room was really nice with a comfy bed, hot shower and super clean. the personal was amazing, specially Aayush and Samir. They help us a lot and give us guidance on what to do around kathmandu. They always asked us if we need something or we want to have more food for breakfast. They make us feel like home. I recommend the place, our next stay in kathmandu will be there.

Comfortable beds and warm shower for when you need it. Room was spacious and very clean. Modern bathroom. Very happy with our accommodation choice in Kathmandu. Great location - close enough to the market and some other attractions, yet not on the main street so quiet and peaceful. Special shout out to Rabin at reception - always greets you with a smile and happy to help with anything you need. Such a delightful young man we loved out daily chats with him. Thank you for everything.

Our stay was exactly what we expected. Very close to the center of the city and the staff was awesome. They went beyond with their services so that we can have a great time. Rabin was an amazing staff who took great care of us during our 4-night stay and assisted us with everything from the very first day till the end of our stay without any hesitation. We checked in as a guest and checked out as family members as we were well looked after. Highly recommended and one should try this!

Our room was not very large but considering the price it was very comforably having, e.g., a fridge and enought lights etc. And the shower was working really nice with enough hot water. The surrounding was quite quiet for Kathmandu standards - not much traffic in the street below at night so we could sleep by open window. The breakfast (not buffet style) was made fresh and was very tasty and if wanted one could get some refill. And, finally, the staff was very friendly and helpful. We stayed 7 nights and would come back if again in Kathmandu.

The only thing I remember was the missing elevator since our room was at the 4th floor.

We liked everything!

We stayed at Maya Boutique Hotel in Kathmandu for a few nights this October. When we checked in, we discovered a very friendly and respectful staff, clean, spacious rooms equipped with all the necessary items as towels, hygiene products, hair dryer, mosquito repellent, bottled water and so on. The included breakfast is really good and they have plenty of options to choose from. When it comes to payment they accept all the major cards or you can pay in cash. The price for one night is more than okay - average or slightly below average for Thamel area. We left some luggage in storage for 19 days while we went trekking. There were no extra costs and when we returned we found it safely and well kept. This completed our really great experience with this accommodation.
