We were urged by the front desk to use the spa facilities. Two of us got manicures. The girls didn’t really know what the were doing so it chipped off the next day. I got a massage which was only so-so. the girl doing my massage kept talking to the other girl outside of the room. she also used like a gallon of oil. It was just kind of silly by the end. My friend got a foot massage and had a similar experience. my advice-there are so many places to get massages and nice spas with quiet settings. this was not that place

Breakfast very good, nice patio, quiet location, close to shopping strip, staff very friendly.

Ordering taxi from hotel - hotel has own driver, charging set fee even when going close by. Better to get taxi from the main street, I pay for 10 min drive 1/3 of hotel car price. There was the water tank next to our window which was noisy, but we upgraded to this free room from smaller one. Hotel is located in back line, it takes a while to find your way there, but it can be said to a lot of hotels in the area.

Marvellous ambience, the dining area overlooks a beautifully kept garden. Staff were exemplary in their service, paricularly Dipesh, Sakshyam and Senit, who took great care in ensuring that my meals were prepared to my expectation, even going to the effort of providing me with a meal not on the menu.

Breakfast was rather basic, the same items being present each day. That being said, I am sure that if one were to request a different type of food, the staff would do their utmost to accomodate you.

I had an amazing stay at Talejue Hotel in Kathmandu! The hotel's environment was great, and its central location made it easy to explore the city. The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful, making my 13-night stay truly comfortable. They went above and beyond by suggesting great sightseeing spots and even arranging logistics for me. Special thanks to the staff for their exceptional service and hospitality. I highly recommend Talejue Hotel to anyone visiting Kathmandu - they'll make your stay truly unforgettable!

Stayed 3 nights. Attractive and tastefully decorated and furnished hotel in very quiet location. Everything worked and the standard of cleanliness and servicing of the room was very high. Staff from Januka and Pratikshya on reception to the guys serving breakfast were welcoming and efficient without being over-obsequious like some places. Great location in easy reach of shops and good restaurants. Overall a high quality and excellent value for money choice for those seeking a restful haven in Thamel.

The breakfast and dinner menu was fine but could have been more exciting. Otherwise it was all totally positive.

This was my 2nd stay at Taleju Boutique Hotel returning from my trek. Staff was very helpful, I had a lovely nights stay on 4th floor facing the courtyard of the hotel, which was very quiet and private :-) The only reason for the rating of 4 instead of 5 is my morning shower wasn't hot - the shower the day before was and the TV didn't seem to work (I did not report this to reception - I'm sure they would have worked to resolve this swiftly). Location wise the hotel is in a quiet side street, 5-10 mins walk from busy shopping streets which is nice and gives an opportunity to take in the atmosphere on way to Thamel/other locations of interest.

The location was great for me. It was on the edge of Thamel in a quiet side street so there was no traffic noise but it was close enough to the action to pop out to do some shopping or go to a restaurant. The staff were really friendly and the bedroom clean and comfortable. The breakfast selection was excellent for such a small hotel. I ate in the restaurant 1 night and that was great too. I would definitely choose this hotel again if I return to Kathmandu.

The team has as a family vibe that makes this place warm and happy. Service is excellent. The location is in the quiet area of Thamel and just less than 10mins from any happening place in the district. For those that want a yoga or activity place, you can check out the roof ;) Breakfast is everyday changed and has local and global choices which makes it easy for fussy ones and also open to family with kids. Dont forget to ask for the airport transfert. Last.points...showers are really warm and never fail as well as the room heating which makes it enjoyable after a day of visiting. Which can be closed with a good massage at the SPA whithin the hotel.

A beautiful and friendly hotel in the centre of Thamel, welcoming staff and comfortable rooms. The hotel is just a short walk to nearby markets, main attractions and temples. The friendly staff is eager to help and assist from small requests to arranging trip or sightseeing experiences. The room and beed are very comfortable and very peaceful .

Just one thing to be aware - there is no lift. For someone like me (at my age) sometimes is a bit difficult to get to level3 or 4. Make sure that you request lover level rooms if you have same issue with stairs.
