The location was perfect. Staff were lovely. Facilities were great, really good gym/ spa/sauna/pool area. Cleanliness was exceptional and most comfortable bed and pillows we've slept on in a while. Roof top bar was nice, and staff were very accomdating. They had 3 guests who were being quite rude and they handled it so calmly. Views from the rooftop and breakfast were really nice. Breakfast was ok. I love a buffet so was looking forward to it. Great omlettes cooked fresh for you. but the other hot food like eggs bacon and sausages were average. Selection of pastrys and breads were great and fresh fruit. 11am check out was ideal too. We will definitely be back to stay when we return to Auckland.

The lighting in the bathroom wasn't very bright for makeup. We had a staff member walk in on us in the morning and not long after we checked in. Which had it been 5 minutes earlier, it could have been quite awkward 😅 but we would stay again so dislikes aren't a major..

I was our first time at a 5 star hotel so we don't have much to compare it to but we had a great time at so/Auckland. The staff were all lovely and helpful. The room they gave smelled like bleach as it was very recently cleaned and my wife really didn't like that so they immediately found us another room that was to our liking. They were also very accommodating and generous when we asked for a room with a double bed after we booked twin beds by mistake. There was no hesitation and no issues, great service! The room had a bath and a shower even though it wasn't very large. that was really nice I really enjoyed using the Gym, sauna, pool and hot tub. I had it practically to myself which was cool. It was a much earned vacation for my wife and I without the kids, first time in 8 years! So we were so grateful for everything the hotel offered, mostly not being with the kids for 2 nights LOL :) Location is excellent! we walked to the harbour, to our restaurant, to the cocktail bar. Very convenient

I would have wanted a slightly nicer speaker to play some music from my phone. They had some old rickety thing that sounded pretty awful. Though I can imagine they don't want people blasting loud music in their hotel rooms, I just like listening to Jazz at a reasonable volume while chilling with a glass of wine :)

Loved the interior decor in the hotel, including the room. Comfy bed and pillows. Luxurious bathroom. Loved HI SO rooftop bar with DJ. Friendly and informative staff.

Unfortunately, for some reason we couldn't access the Harbour Society restaurant menu from the link to their website from the room tv and no one answered the phone from the direct extn number at the restaurant. I was expecting to wear ear plugs knowing we were on a busy cbd street, but the external sliding door didn't shut properly, leaving a clear gap to outside, it would have been much quieter.

The staff service. The valties were exciotionsl, warm friendly. Nothing a problem. Hards car waiting for debarture. The view was stunning, very comfortable bed. Nice having complementary water juice and , loved the chocolate welcome plate.

If you wanted light switches off I. Bedroom you couldn’t. They were connected to lounge. Toilet door didn’t stay closed. Portable hand shower and shower head leaked between head and pipe. The club times were explained but not the you need a seperate key. David thought it was his room key and had a few issues getting around the lifts to correct floors. Otherwise lift set out was great. Breakfast had wonderful views to enjoy.

Cool funky artistic hotel. Great views from the rooftop bar where we watched the sunset with some nice drinks and ceviche. Relaxing basement pool and spa. Comfortable room and complementary nonalcoholic minibar which was nice. Delicious dinner and best hotel breakfast I’ve had in recent years I particularly enjoyed the fresh orange juice machine.

Shower pressure was lacking and our 4th floor room was noisy due to the boy racers on Saturday night. I booked a playful room and expected to be on a higher floor. For a hotel this new in this location I expected it to have better sound proofing from the city noises.

It is a very well appointed hotel with a sense of art all around you. The standalone tub gives it a bit of an edge in Auckland city and a fantastic bed sums it up for a restful stay. The breakfast is fantastic and it has an extraordinary view from the top. It is a decent place to stay, although, at this price point, there could be few more options to shop around.

The photos could be a bit deceiving and each layout is different. We got moved to a room at a lower level after our door lock didn't work. This room was identical but the noise from the street can be heard. It didn't bother us but it was present. The curtains were a bit of a mission as the reach wasn't the easiest. Got it done after walking from end to end and around furniture.

Staff were really friendly and hospitable; nothing was too much for them. Wonderful pool, jacuzzi and sauna and even managed a gym session in the well equipped gym. The changing facilities for the pool and gym were also well looked after and perfect for our requirements. Bed was super comfy and being on the 8th floor, city side, we didn't have an issue with any street noise. We had a late flight so it was great to be able to leave our luggage in an assigned place and felt confident it was secure. We were well looked after well after check out! Brilliant buffet breakfast with so much choice, we were well filled for the day!

There weren't many spare plug sockets in the room: both plugs on one side of the bed were used for bedside lamp and clock, there was a spare on the other side of the bed. One by the window for a lamp on the desk but that seemed to be all. So the hairdryer had to be used far away from any mirror and ironing had to be done in the gap to the side of the bed. Small thing was that there wasn't any alcohol in the minibar and so you order that as room service. Fair enough, but the QR code system to order wasn't working when we tried it. We could have gone to reception to ask but we didn't have enough time before we had to shoot out anyway. Hopefully that's fixed for others in future soon.

The decor was fabulous, the room super comfy, the complimentary refreshments greatly appreciated. Loved the shower and the bath in the room. Got to watch a free and recent movie on the TV. Lights and furnishings in the foyer were fun. Rooftop bar really interesting (but we felt a bit old). Didn't have time to use the pool or gym but was great they have these here for folks to use.

Our view was of a building under construction and there was a bit of construction noise going on during the day. I was very disappointed not to have a harbour view. I messaged the hotel to ask if we could change rooms for the 2nd night and they did not even acknowledge my message. Complimentary snacks were not replenished when the room got serviced.

The staff were great and made you feel comfortable on check-in! The bed was comfy, and the complementary mini bar was a great touch! The location was perfect and I would highly recommend the restaurant.

The location of the bath and toilet wasn't for me, being in the same room as the bed. I felt uncomfortable using both of these due to the minimal/lack of privacy. The sauna was small, and the jacuzzi could do with a small upgrade.

The location was amazing, walk to everything. The room layout was spacious and modern. And the staff was fabulous…even when the electronics in my room totally failed and (meaning there was no way for me or the staff to get into the room), they handled the situation in a calm, friendly and professional manner,

The bathroom/shower area could have been a bit cleaner.
