brilliant location, great size apartment and in room facilities (washer, dryer, iron, kitchen etc), balcony is a very generous size and great views of the harbour. Only a few mins walk away from major sites like pier, maritime museum and sky tower.

housekeeping was temperamental. Visited few first days no problem then we were missed for 4 days. On two occasions we had to speak to reception (once twice on the same day) as they hadn’t been and we needed amenities as things like washing up liquid and laundry powder came in sachets. We were also left 1 day without clean towels or toilet roll. Cards in the rooms state housekeeping is between 11-3 but do not count on this, if they come at all.

Upgraded to two bedroom which was a bonus. Great view and nice staff.

We waited for over an hour for our room to be ready, when we had been informed we could check in at a certain time. We were asked to come back later but we had nowhere to go as we were from out of town. We sat in foyer for over an hour waiting for cleaner to do the room even though it was after 2pm. Annoying but had no choice. We were told not enough staff. Cafe was closed. Concerts on and hotel was packed, so thought things would be all sorted. Staff were nice and they upgraded our room and gave us free drinks.

The first room was excellent fantastic view but bed configuration was not what we order it was 2 Queen bed instead of 1 Queen and 2 singles when they worked that out we went from the 21st floor to the 15th where the view was very much compromised and instead of a harbour view which we ordered we had a view of glass office buildings very disappointing

The location as we arrived by cruise ship and it was a short walk to hotel The hotel entry was very impressive as were the staff the Up cafe was also very good very friendly staff and excellent cheese scones

The room had everything we needed for a family of 4. The cooking facilities and washing / dryer are great. Location is awesome downtown Auckland. Perfect for a family city vacation - can cook - eat at home or eat out lots of restaurants in the area. I rang the hotel to confirm the room rate and the fold out couch for the kids. Would recommend doing this as when I booked on Booking.com it said the rate was for 2 adults and 2 children up to 18years but then the booking receipt said only two adults. It always pays to confirm with the hotel and screen shot the booking details!

The parking was an additional charge and it was expensive compared to long stay parking at other standard Wilson parking such as when you use the Waiheke Ferry weekend rate which works out cheaper than this hotel parking. Would be nice to be half the charged price - if not free.

Excellent location [if you need to be in and around the CBD as we did], good sized rooms with good facilities if a little dated. Overall, we were very pleased with the experience. Cafe very good. Great to have epl/sky on the TV. Great to have utility with good washing machine and dryer.

Late check out not easy to organise. Shower cycles slowly from too hot to too cold. Bigger bowls would be helpful.

Great location, with a really good size appartment with a kitchen and laundry facilities. Great to have a balcony with views of the harbour and the bridge. The staff were really attentive and friendly.

It's a shame the pool is still not operational, but we did get free entry to the tepid baths. I personally found the sofa bed, which i shared with one of my children, a little uncomfortable to sleep on.

The view was lovely, room was very spacious and location excellent.

The signage to find the hotel was not easy - we booked into the "Sebel" Quay West but it turns out we were booked at "The Quay West" This may seem trivial to some but with Auckland's CBD unfriendly roads to motor vehicles ( how else do we get into the city from 75 minutes away?), we eventually found everything including the parking around the back of Mills Lane but instructions could be a lot clearer.

ITS CLOSE VICINITY TO THE VIADUCT, SHOPS, RESTAURANTS AND BARS. OUR ROOM HAD A LAUNDRY WASHER AND DRYER.

UNFORTUNATELY THEY COULDN'T GIVE US A ROOM THAT WAS WHEELCHAIR FRIENDLY AS REQUESTED(eg BATHROOM). DINING CHAIR SEAT COVERS ARE BADLY STAINED. THE GUESTS SWIMMING POOL WAS UNDER CONSTRUCTION.

Spacious rooms , great views and well equipped kitchen, etc.

The front door didn't come down to the floor but left a 1 - 2 cm gap which allowed a cold draft to enter from the hallway on the windy days. This was an issue because that particular room was positioned at the end of the hallway. Perhaps a rubber seal or flap would block out the draft from entering. Also, the noise of construction work below from master bedroom woke us up early, but the 2nd bedroom was facing orher side so noise was not an issue that side.

Checked in & had to wait for room to be cleaned as it was a very busy afternoon for them, Night Manager Rahul & staff that was on shift were very very friendly, he was very apologetic on my awaiting time for room, gave us x2 white wine bottle, rooms were big,

I didn't like how the exit slideup door where the parking lot did not go up. Sensors were not working as I left.
