The Hotel Owner, Husband & Wife Team, Sorry that I lost his namecard ... He is the Nicest Hotel Manager that we met in New Zeland, My family arrived late, tired hungry and exhausted, We booked the Hotel Room in a rush and doing it while I was driving and doing the tourist thing, i.e., taking pictures while searching for the right road, We were short of a bed, .... He upgraded our room without the extra charges and the services rendered was phenomenal .... The Hotel is very new, clean, nicely designed and well maintained, .... coupled with the friendly and hardworking owner, this Hotel is better than any International Chain and deserve a 5 Stars +++ Rating !!!!! .... Definitely Recommend to any one looking for a good night stay and you have everything next to the hotel from Restaurants to Pubs ....

NOTHING !!

The hotel was in a good location in terms of being close to the shopping centre . The room was spacious & comfortable . Having a sliding door onto a very narrow verandah meant that you could get fresh air. This looked into a mown area surrounded by trees .

I didn’t realise that the hotel is part of a new shopping complex. Whilst it was convenient having a chemist & bottle shop & a few takeaway shops nearby , there was the issue of having cooking oil wafting up from 2 takeaway shops below . This stopped at 9pm when the shop shut . On the Saturday morning we were women very early by sound of thudding . We worked out that we were above a gym / Pilates place & the noise was probably weights . If I went back I would ask for a room on level 2 . Also ask for one overlooking the lake rather than the shopping carpark .

excellent location, close to town and lots of eating options. Lovely quiet room overlooking the lake, although it was still very hidden behind trees so we still couldn't see it haha. Stayed here as needed to be in Hamilton the next day, great alternative with this lovely accommodation and the delicious eateries in Cambridge, will be sure to stay again. Amazing bed and pillows, so comfortable.

I always like to have an extra blanket at hotels, this one included but didnt have one, for when you go to bed and find the air con is still a bit chilly.

Everything was just great! We stayed in the two bedrooms appartment. It is clean (!), has well equipped kitchen (big fridge, microwave, oven, nespresso Maschine, etc.), spacious bathroom. More than enough space for the family of 4 with a lot of bags. Breakfast was delicious - you can choose from the menu - French toast was just great! Service was superb! Thanks a lot to the whole team! Very child friendly - at breakfast our son immediately got coloring book and origami set. Location is also great - close to the downtown, but in a quiet corner near the lake. A lot of restaurants right nearby and big supermarket just across the road. Nothing more to wish for!

Everything was great! One of the best hotels we had during our trip to NZ.

Exceptional, warm service that consistently exceeds expectations. The meals are delicious, and every staff member, from the cleaning team to the servers and receptionists, is delightful. The place is a charming, peaceful getaway. I had a wonderful night's rest and appreciated the convenience of being able to launder my clothes in the two-bedroom apartment. A lovely restful stop over. Thank you again.

We had two nights in a room in the hotel and two nights in a two bed two bathroom apartment with every amenity you could ask for on our doorstep. There was cafes,eatery’s barbers,cinema,fitness gyms and palates and a 5 minute walk from the town center. A McDonald’s,KFC and supermarkets in the complex too. If you like a walk their is the Hidden lake behind the hotel. The Hotel is run by Chris and Glenda who have put together a very pleasant and efficient team . It was a pleasure to stay there. I would say the hotel is world class.

There was nothing I didn’t like.

The staff were very welcoming and pleasant. The room was spotless and the bathroom facilities were great. Had breakfast in the restaurant and enjoyed some lovely locally sourced ingredients. In a great location for Cambridge, as you can just trot into town, but also have practically everything on hand right outside the door too! I would highly recommend staying here for a place that is fairly priced for the area.

The only thing I noticed was I could hear someone running up and down the hall, may have been a guest. So not a normal experience I'm sure.

clean, new, quiet, high quality, comfortable, lovely shower products, great to have a bar and restaurant + laundry and spa on site - and friendly staff

I’m really grasping at straws for something negative to say! carpet in hallways and entrances to rooms… I think for hygiene purposes, this should be low noise vinyl (like wood look or something) as everyone wears their outside shoes indoors and I personally think it’s dirty and it’s ruining the carpets. good to be able to mop the floors and have somewhere to walk into the rooms and take your shoes off before walking on the carpet

The Hidden Lake Apartments are excellent accommodation. They are in a good location near many eateries and the main shopping streets. The Apartment had everything including coffee machine, washer/dryer and top class bed and linen. A lovely large bathroom and comfortable lounge area. The staff are very friendly and obliging and a great restaurant is onsite. This is a quality apartment with great free easy parking. Highly recommended by us.

the breakfast and friendly table service and location was fantastic. highly recommend the Indian restaurant Koi Spice Craft & Whiskey just a few buildings down from Hidden Lake apartments

the apartments are not very sound proof. sadly for us there was a large group of golfing men on the same floor & next door to us, they were so noisy and both nights they partied on . would have made sense if they were all put up on the 2nd floor.
