These are extremely well landscaped, equipped and comfortable apartments , a very quiet location, on a bus route from the town centre , given Dunedins terrible parking, and very steep hills , this is a real bonus . They are secluded, very modern, excellent kitchen facilities , comfortable beds, lots of storage space , good heating , very nice shower . Good tv reception , comfy seating areas separated from bedroom, so one person can go to bed whilst the other watches tv. We sat watching the birds outside in the garden, near the bird feeder, there was also an outside seating area. No noise at night , as the apartments are off the road about 50 metres up a lane, there was also a washing line outside and a clothes airer. There were instructions for almost all of the appliances . The host was very friendly and helpful.

The Internet was a bit unreliable at times . We told the hosts and they are working to get a better service , but are dependent on the service being relayed from another building.

The host offered excellent communication and even when I had a slight mishap (a burnt pan while cooking a steak to dinner) there were no issues whatsoever when it came to resolving the damage I caused. The Hosts were always very polite and the facilities were great. very modern looking, very accessible, very clean, everything worked within my studio apartment worked, cooking facilities were perfect for 1 or 2 people at the most. All in all a great place to stay for 5 days and while working in Dunedin, if the pricing was a bit less, close to $ 150 per night, I would stay at the March Apartments for the full 3 month duration of my stay in Dunedin ensuring guaranteed income for the owners/hosts.

The pricing could be a bit more attractive

The room far exceeded expectations. In a quiet location, though handy to everything you would wish to see in Dunedin, our room lacked for nothing. From the moment we opened the downstairs door to access our room, the beautiful aroma wafting thru the stairwell signaled that we were in for a pleasant surprise. The room was cosy, well appointed with ample bathroom products, cooking facilities and utensils to make our stay comfortable. I have no hesitation in recommending March Apartments to other visitors to Dunedin.

We liked having two apartments with entrances which only went to those apartments, this was great as we had our 3 year old grand daughter and our daughter in one apartment and we had the one next door. We ate together in the apartment with a full stove, and our daughter found the washing machine very useful. They were very clean and it was also really quiet and the site was far enough from the street to be safe for our grand daughter. The gardens enhanced the property.

A wonderful stay! The apartment was immaculate, equipped with everything you need: very comfortable beds, two tvs, kitchen utensils and nice toiletries, plenty of clean towels. A quiet area so we managed to sleep well. Only a short ride to the university, Octagon. The manager’s communication was excellent about self check in, she was also very responsive when we needed something such as borrowing a phone charger or an umbrella. We will surely stay here again. Beautiful, well-equipped apartment with just a little bit extra in style and comfort. Loved pretty cushions, art on walls and nice colours. Quality Bed linen and towels. Full kitchen, good heating. Assigned park right beside apartment made entering and exiting easy.

I liked pretty much everything. There's a wee bit of noise from the internal stairwell to other apartments, but it was minimal and not sufficient to affect the enjoyment of the stay.

We were staying over Christmas, so our experience may be a little different. Hostess was excellent at communicating by text message. In text suited us very well.

We were supposedly upgraded but the apartment did not have "feel" of what I had seen online. Also, I was quite surprised there was no door between the bedroom and the living area. The bed was a VERY tight fit. and I banged my toes a couple of times getting around the bed.

Upon walking into the beautiful apartment,it looked very classy,very tastefully decorated Extremely clean and plenty of towels and cleaning products Kitchen though small had a microwave,and an induction hot plate The bed was so so comfy The complex was small and well cared for Parking available Short walk to a bus stop to take you into the centre,buses very frequent and cheap Laundry facility was very handy

The bed was comfortable, the kitchen was well equipped and the staff was helpful and responsive. The room didn’t have a coffee plunger but they gave us one when I asked. The common areas were beautifully maintained.

The main issue was location. While the neighbourhood was quiet and pleasant, there were no cafes or shops nearby and it was quite a hike to get downtown, up and down very big hills. They do provide a transit schedule.

Lovely quiet location that suited my needs. Very good room set-up, little kitchenette fully stocked with everything you could need. Comfy bed. Warm apartment. Nice furnishings. Laundry facilities. Helpful manager. One of the best places I have stayed of its kind. Thank you !

I asked for a quiet apartment, and the first few nights I was the only person in my block so it was lovely and quiet and I was very grateful for that. The last few nights someone was next door and unfortunately there is no soundproofing so you could literally hear every single thing, which wasn't great. But that was my only complaint and I am noise sensitive, so might not bother others at all. Everything else was perfect.
