Great location, good sized room and bathroom, nice toiletries, Free Netflix which was great. The host was helpful and showed me to my room and also how to open the door with the card key. The guest folder was full of information. Good parking. Not too far from the Park Run at the Botanic Gardens.

No lift, so having to drag a heavy suitcase upstairs could be annoying.

One of the best Motels I've ever stayed in New Zealand. Very quiet even though central, spacious, clean, comfortable bed and seating area. The only Motel or Hotel so far with a water filter in the kitchen to avoid the chlorine taste. Immediate upgrade to disability unit as my daughter had an accident recently and could not climb stairs. I will definitely come again

Very well located, being close to The Octagon, but not a particularly busy street. Rooms very spacious with a separate kitchen/lounge and bedroom - more like a small self-contained unit. Well equipped and comfortable. Staff friendly and helpful. A lot to like but not outstanding.

Nothing unsatisfactory. Parking is a little tight, but the steep topography makes this inevitable. Fully priced, but tariffs were consistent for the location.

It was between downtown and the Mercy Hospital, which was just what I needed. The suite was very clean and comfortable.

Bit of a hike up the steps to the 3rd level. Was out for a couple of hours one morning and told the housekeeping staff on my way down the stairs. They didn't get to my room, though, until I was back eating lunch and then said they could not come in if I was there. Just seemed a bit odd - when I was telling them a room was empty for the next couple of hours - and they did not take advantage of that.

The staff were friendly, easy to talk to and gave good local info. The whole place was spotless.Spacious room and very comfortable bed.The shower was a bit small for my man 😜 ( he's 6ft 1).It was great to have an on site laundry and detergent was provided. And there was plenty of onsite parking.This is a good location for the city centre.

Only the shower cubicle ( see above). I didn't have a problem with it as I'm small.😁

Motel on York is very close to the city centre. We had a room on the third floor which gave us a great view over the city and was bright and light. There were a few restaurants near by

The bed was a little hard for my liking but my partner found it comfortable. We were three floors up and there is no lift. Luckily we were able to park at that level otherwise,as an older couple, we would have struggled with our luggage.

Definitely not complaining - just thought you may like to be aware of the following - Unsure if the bathroom has a fan or if I just didn't work out how to use it? Toilet seat may be broken - moved while sitting on it. Shower door may not seal properly - it might have been a user error, just thought I would mention it.

I arrived earlier than check in time to see if I could leave my car on the motel car park whilst attending an appointment in town, The owner was happy for me to do this and check in early. The room was well equipped, quiet and had a great view. the staff were friendly and helpful. The location was ideal for walking to the shops and businesses of the town centre.

I have no criticism of the complex.

From the moment we arrived I knew this place was going to be good. Staff made us feel welcome, room was spacious, light and airy and had everything we needed for a four night stay. Located on a steep hill it is an eight minute walk into the restaurant area. We walked and drove quite a lot around the area and decided we had made a good choice in choosing this motel.

A general comment about Dunedin, if you cannot cope with walking up and down hills don't visit Dunedin. Almost everywhere you want to go involves traipsing up and down steep hills. We are both over sixty five and managed okay but if you are not active or are physically challenged it might be a problem.

Lovely comfortable place to stay and only a short walk into the heart of Dunedin. We were on the 3rd floor with views towards the city. It was lovely to open the window to let fresh breeze. There is no elevator and it is a steep block so that may be difficult for some people. Very good guest laundry.
