Beautiful attention to detail, lots of great little touches that make all the difference. Walking distance to the central part of town, which was lucky as there happened to be a dance festival on the night I stayed which I had no idea about and would have made getting a taxi a lot more difficult. The hotel manager really goes out of her way to make people feel welcome, she was kind enough to pick me up from the airport after I dropped my rental car off.

Some very luxurious features for a motel, things you expect from a boutique hotel not from a motel. Very comfortable bed, loads of comfy pillows, decent TV channels, plenty of towels without having to ask for extra!

Very stingy on the soap. We expected to be given more when the room was cleaned but this didn't happen. The office wasn't open the hours advertised, there was a motel sitter on duty so maybe service not up to standard.

They have done a good job of modernising this once-motor-inn - lots of thought has gone into the little details. Our room (a mini-apartment, the "Presidential Suite") was modern and comfortable with two bedrooms, a simple kitchenette, a living room and outdoor sitting space. We stayed one night, arriving late which was not a bother for them. Everything was ready. We then returned early (11 am) after a five day tramp of the Abel Tasman and they had our room ready for us. We could use the guest laundry facilities - so helpful. It's a short stroll to the many restaurants of Nelson.

I arrived early and though I hadn't requested it, the friendly manager let me in early. The location is great and most of the place was clean. The bed was comfortable. If I return to Nelson, I would stay in the same place just because the manager was so nice and kind.

There were some moldy spots in the shower corners and the shower didn't drain very well. The bathroom sink splashed everywhere.

Close walk to town, very clean, and had everything we needed for 1 a one-night stay. Great price!

Had several calls from staff, which was very attentive, am sure some people appreciate that, but I prefer anonymity with hotels. So my own personal thing.

We had a great stay at Century Park motor lodge. The location was perfect, just a short walk into the city. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable with ample amenities including milk in the fridge. Parking was free and readily available. The beds were comfy with soft sheets. Wifi was excellent and the tv was equipped with Netflix.

Super helpful staff - Tina rang me prior to my arrival to ensure we had booked the right room and answered all my questions ! Room was very spacious and modern comfortable layout - great bathroom with bonus spa bath , beds were very comfortable.

everything was great - the fridge was a bit noisy but we got used to it on the second night!

Nothing not to like, .... Welcoming and helpful management on arrival, very convenient parking, a spacious, sunny and well-appointed suite, and just a short walk to the 'centre of the known world' (well, NZ anyway) and including supermarket, great eateries ['Green Bamboo' does not disappoint], Suter Art Gallery, Botanic Gardens, the Cathedral, and the iconic Saturday Market all within easy reach.

Everything was immaculate! Even got to chose what my preferred milk was. Such a lovely cheerful greeting and easy check out. The room was lovely and even though I didn’t require it, I loved the fact there was an option for coloured towels for those that may have fake tan on. We will be back for sure and would recommend to all.

Everything .. an absolutely amazing stay .. a beautiful warm welcome in an immaculately clean reception which sets the tone for your stay .. rooms are modern , well equipped, spacious , comfortable, warm and quiet . Also the little things that make the stay that bit more comfortable, large TV, free wifi,salt and pepper, real milk , an umbrella.
