Lovely room, very spacious and comfortable. Sports channels on TV were a hit with my husband. Nice walk to the marina, cute puppy in the reception area!

A staff member let herself in to our room while we were in there to ask us “Are you leaving today?” at 10.15am. We were in the process of packing up at the time and had checked out of every other motel on our trip between 10 and 10.30am with nothing said. It was a bit of a shock having someone walk in - strange, we thought! Especially when it did not appear to be busy at all.

From the moment we arrived we felt welcome, the owners and staff are lovely. Location is central and close to everything with an added bonus of how close the supermarket is for all those forgotten to pack items. The facilities are great, shower pressure is a massive bonus, love that they are a more eco motel. The pool is also great. The best place to stay with kids. Absolutely loved our stay and will definitely be back!

We loved the location which was in easy walking distance of cafes, restaurants, parks, and galleries in downtown Nelson. The river walk was nearby which was very pleasant. The bed was comfy and the room was very clean and spacious and had everything we needed for our 3 day stay. Staff were pleasant and helpful.

The bathroom was very well equipped but the shower was a step up from the floor and care needed to be taken stepping in and out.

The Palms Motel location was excellent, it is quiet, has a supermarket across the road and can walk to town. The room was spacious and clean, good cooking facilities. The staff are very friendly and very helpful. We would stay again.

We can only say good things about our stay, the location is great, the room was great, the bed was really comfy, had everything needed for our stay. All the staff were excellent.

The Palms Motel is the Best in Nelson,by far!. Units are very clean,beds are great,awesome aircon,kitchen,and spa bath is sensational. Brooke was so welcoming, and helpful,and her staff are all friendly and everyone there goes the extra mile to make sure your stay with them is the best it can be. Palms Motel is also ideally situated to Restaurants, Supermarkets,ect,.

The only thing my wife and I didn't like,,,,,Was Leaving..😒

Great room Great beds The manager allowed us to use the room before 2pm as it was ready! Amazingly acommodative and big kudos to her The pool was perfect on a perfectly hot summer day with heaps of towels available Not anything to complain about except too many duvets for summer on the bed. The staff were friendly So close to town. All within walkable distance Thank you so much 😊

Great location, friendly staff, nice rooms work mini kitchen and fridge. Very happy with my stay?

Only things I ding it for is wifi was annoying - no password but you had to click agree on a sign in page. But it would kick you off every few hours and you'd have to do it again. Much simpler just to have a password. And the pillows were a bit too thick and dense for me, but that's personal preference. Those two minor things would take it from 8 to 9 for me.

Fantastic location close to shops, cafes & bars, also nice walkways around the area. The motel has all the facilities you will need.

The cleaning staff were poor, when they serviced our room our bed was only pulled up & not made. The cleaning was mediocre.

Staff were superb and very helpful. Loved the spa bath and extremely clean. Amazing location.

Not having a heat pump in the bedroom with just a small window for air made it stuffy and too warm when someone was trying to sleep and the other watching TV in the lounge. No lamp in the lounge - only choice of lighting was the too bright ceiling lights.

Well located for sight seeing and all within walking distance. Compact apartment complex with onsite parking. Well maintained with friendly staff. Despite minor points below would recommend.

The internet was poor. The faux leather sofa in our apartment was delaminating. Water pipes noisy when walkers who were on tours got up at 6.30am.
