We were upgraded due to our first room being dirty and smelling. But our new room was a lovely spacious unit with a full kitchen. There is an amazing pool that the kids loved with a bbq area and a laundry, which was cheap to use.

We requested no service each day (4 nights) apart from towels. We left our pile of towels out the door with the sign but unfortunately, I had to follow up towels and bathmats on 2 days and our 3rd day our dish cloth etc was taken away but not replaced. Just small things which can be easily addressed. Parking was another thing sometimes you couldn't park outside your unit. Again we still managed to park inside the facility tho.

Probably the cleanest place I have stayed. I couldn't fault it at all' Room was very well appointed and no stains or marks on furniture. Sheets were pristine. Very well appointed room. Parking was easy and I parked just outside my room. The restaurant were extremely efficient and my breakfast was ready in minutes so I felt I had plenty of time. It was a pleasant 10 minute walk into town so very close to amenities.

While the walls are definitely soundproofed I had a very loud snorer next door the first night and I could hear him through the wall. If I could make a small point - the reception team could possibly have been a bit more smiley and friendly. I felt my welcome was a little too reserved. Polite though.

Room size was great and clean

Small uncomfortable double beds and stupidly small tv, Also felt humiliated at the reception when I was told that I had to pass over my visa details as a bond in case we left any odors or cooking smells in the room or pay up additional $200 bond in cash or eftpos.pissed me off more since I had paid my accommodation in advance and we didn't have a kitchen facilities anyway' Receptionist wouldn't accept my visa/debit card or my MasterCard card.wish I had of known this in advance as I would have gone elsewhere rather than felt like a second hand citizen.we were so upset that we cancelled our restaurant bookings at the in-house flame restaurant and went to another restaurant for our meals and breakfasts of the course of our stay

Rooms and beds were comfy.

Service of restaurant staff. Waitress told us there was no kids menu for chicken burgers when there was in fact a chicken slider on the kids menu. I was not aware until after the ordering and eating the adult meals that the kids menu was on the opposite side of a kids actvity. She said she would ask on our behalf about what she could do in terms of compensating for the mistake but never came back to us at all. We waited but never saw her. I don't have time to have my holiday ruined. We paid and left.

Room and beds were very clean and comfortable, laundry was great and washing machine and dryer were fast and efficient. Bathrooms were spacious and the shower was fun for the child as he loved the different ways he could have the water. Cleaning staff were friendly. engaging and very helpful. Situated in a great area to access town and sightseeing.

Fridge door opened the wrong way so you couldn't stand in front of fridge to open door, carparking since not allocated can sometimes mean you are parking a fair distance from your room. Ranch slider cannot be locked or unlocked from the outside and the ranch sliders is the door closest to the Carpark. Staff member didn't check ID and had given my room (that I had pre-paid) to someone else - luckily the other person was my cousin who I was meeting there for our holiday.

The room was larger than expected with an extra single bed, perhaps we were given an up grade not sure. The rooms were very clean. The beds were very comfortable and there was an adequate selection of pillows and blankets if required. The heat pump kept the room cosy and there was a stand-alone heater in the bedroom which was closed off from the living area. The spa bath was awesome, my child removed it.

There were no tea towels or paper towels in the kitchen. There was one box of tissues which looked to have been handled/counted out and poked back into the box.

Restaurant service and meals were excellent! Very friendly and helpful staff. Accommodating coeliac meals and offers advice on places to visit in Nelson. Receptionist was extra understanding, offering a workable solution following delayed flights and late check in.

The shower head broken, made a wet mess in the bathroom. Inconvenient plug placement for electric blankets. Couldn’t locate close to bed so had cable crossing access path to bed. Soap/lotion dispensers were dusty and had black spots on rims (?mould).

We were in the one-bedroom accommodation, as we were travelling with our daughter. The rooms were large, airy and the beds were lovely and comfortable. Great shower (over bath), good pressure and tall enough for the husband to stand up. The rooms were very clean and nicely presented - bedroom had a queen bed and the lounge area, had a queen and a single bed - so would be great for families/multiple guests. There were TV's in both rooms, so that was also a bonus. The front office team were very helpful and friendly. It was nice to have access to a pool, as well. Overall a great place to stay, a little out of the main city area of Nelson but easily accessed.

Nothing was wrong with the rooms themselves, but as the main lounge is really quite spacious, a minor niggle was that the TV on the wall, was quite far away. You could lie on the bed and see it fine, however, to get closer there are lounge chairs that aren't that comfortable. If doing a refurb in the future, would suggest a small 2-seater couch instead, for added comfort.

I ordered uber eats and they found it easy to find my room. I had a fantastic sleep. My partner joined me later on and we both wished we had ordered a spa suite! I found the staff really accommodating and lovely to talk to when I called reception. I'm going to stay at this hotel regularly and will always give it a good review

The TV had limited channels and it took me a while to know you had to squeeze the body wash out of the tube I spent a few silly minutes trying to figure that out haha.

Easy access (walking distance) to on-site laundry facility. Great restaurant on-site (Flames restaurant). I had my best meal (pork short ribs) in New Zealand thus far (been on North Island for the past week & now starting our vacation in the South Island). The $29/ person breakfast voucher (pre-paid) was just the right amount in covering for a full breakfast. Room was comfortable, warm, and had the necessary amenities. Staff were very friendly, helpful & professional.
