It was great stay.!!! Very clean room and kitchen, comfortable bed and multiple things for the feeling as being at home! Great bonus- a bottle of wine, as a present from the motel on the our arrival!! Thank you, staff in The King's Gate for the cooperation with any of our inquiries !!! We have been looked after :))

Only, we have missed- the porridge balls to use in MW oven for the breakfast and 2 light bulbs in the room:))

The apartment was very clean. There was everything in it that is needed ( apart from a bottle opener). Just a tiny detail. The laundry was very handy and there are clothes lines out the back for visitors use. The pool area looked great . It is a leisurely 10 min walk into the town which is very charming.

The room was clean and well presented, the location was excellent and the staff we extremely accommodating.

Two out of the five mattress in our room probably need replacing but based on my brief experience with the property managers i would say it’s probably on their to do list as its very apparent they are in the process of upgrading and have so far done a very good job.

Lovely welcome, the room was warm and comfortable. I was sharing with a friend and had a bed in the lounge which was comfortable. Slept better than normal. Lovely and quiet.

It’s not far from town….but after a long day of workshops and events, the walk home felt like a mini-mission. It’s not always easy to get cabs in Nelson…though it only costs $7.

I liked the proximity to the city.As I travelled by plane and didnt have my car,this was a bonus.The motel was a pleasure ,comfortable clean and quiet.Great place to spend a few days.Staff were helpful and management obliging

Nothing not to like,it was a great stay.I did have a spot of bother sorting the shower out,as the controls were upside down.By design or accident,I have no idea.As I say a minor glitch.

I loved that the host made us feel like we were right at home being so far away from home!!! Really enjoyed our stay we can't thank yous enough facilities staff even the price was a definite score so really appreciated!!. Happy 2024 all the best

We have stayed here before. The motel is looking a little "tired", but the location is close to the central city, and very quiet.

The lighting in the lounge is dull, and the bathroom would benefit from a heater.

The clean and very comfortable apartment motel is well located on one of the main streets in and out of Nelson. The apartment was large and looked exactly as advertised. It is an easy walk into the center of town and to two very nice walks near the city center.
