Location and staff! Common area is great with shared kitchen and deals on excursions. Our second room king with window was amazing as well, very big and comfy bed. Staff was very quick to respond on the app about temperature in the room which was great :) loved the app for a key instead of worrying about losing a key.

Our first night they had us in a bunk bed double / twin instead of the king room we booked and couldn’t change it until the next day when the manager was in, that room the bed was uncomfortable and the tv didn’t work. Luckily they moved us to a much better king room for the next 2 nights with a window yay! Wish we could have stayed in that room all 3 nights.

I liked the access to the balcony, although it was shared. The location was very convenient, and the staff were really helpful, especially as they work around the clock. The bedroom was large enough to share between me and my friend, both having two large suitcases each. There was hanging space too. Beds were comfy and I liked the touch bedside lamps

The facilities could use a little uphaul and a clean up, however it is understandable that a backpackers in a snow town would get damaged and dirty quickly due to the luggage types. The shower didn't have a working exhaust fan, so our bathroom filled with condensation each time and sometimes leaked. The fridge froze our items instead of keeping them cold.

The staff were very helpful and wanted to do whatever i needed to make my stay enjoyable. The kitchen and shared lounge area are large and roomy. There is luggage storage, extra bathroom facilities on every floor and the location is awesome

Unfortunately the womens rooms are located above a very noisey nightclub. The music is loud but its the base vibration that causes the biggest issue. I could try to block the noise but nothing gets rid of the thumping. Thankfully after 3nights the staff were amazing and shifted my away. I know the hostel is trying to resolve this issue but until then book away from the woman’s rooms.

Location was amazing. View from our private room was jaw dropping. The information centre in the hotel was excellent and extremely helpful, they helped us book all our remarkable snow transfers, activities etc. The signs around the hotel of activities to do was really helpful. Room cars being on our phones was super easy and we could message reception from our phones too - super up to date and helpful. Would definitely stay again

The common area (kitchen and living room) was quite dirty. We cooked one meal there but most of the cooking stuff was dirty and the common area fridges were jam packed so we couldn’t fit our food in - lucky we had a mini fridge in our room. If the private rooms had a microwave then that would’ve been amazing !

Location is superb. Staff are friendly and efficient. Hostel is pretty roomy with a welcoming foyer. Beds comfy. Rooms air conditioned. Everything pretty spotless given the volume of traffic.

Prices in Queenstown are outrageous. I got an ensuite hotel room in Auckland on a Saturday night for less that a bunk bed in an 8 person dorm with shared bathroom in Nomads. It would make me rethink visiting again... there are other places much better value. Bunk bed frames are metal and very squeaky. Lockers for valuables are very small and in a state of disrepair.

Room was very nice and more like a hotel. Hostel was quiet and staff was especially helpful and very friendly. Location was great and restaurants right outside the door and bus stop to airport close by.

No chairs on balcony so couldn't sit there and enjoy the view. I was promised a chair but never got one. I got charged 6% for payment penalty that was not stated when I made booking. That is way more than I have ever been charged, usually 1-2.5% is the norm. They should declare that at the time booking is being made thru Booking.com.

Loved the super friendly staff, great location, awesome amenities! High tech cool app, we're able to contact front of desk via app & unlock doors with it. Location is literally in the heart of Queenstown city. No noise at all for us as we did request to be located on the quiet side & brought our own handy white machine, and off we slept like a baby with no noise disturbance from the outside at all. Also not sure what everyone's complaining about the Wifi as it worked marvelous for us (we were at 3rd floor). We will definitely return when we're visiting Queenstown!

as soon as we walked in we weee impressed! lovely reception area with fun, lively music and a warm fire. information desk there with anything you’d want to know about the area or trips out. the rooms have a balcony, their own private bathroom and are clean! you can hear the club music from outside at night but I can get to sleep easily so this didn’t bother me. the kitchen and common area were amazing, big and spacious, clean kitchen every day there was a poo table and football table in the common area too as well as balcony for smoking, lovely fires so it was always warm. there was leather couches and even a sauna and movie room! it was everything you could want and more from a hostel! I’d definitely recommend. and location was perfect

good location easy walk to anything in central queenstown, room was pretty big for a backpackers and was kept very clean same with bathrooms and front desk staff nice as and very helpful. Right in the middle of queenstown nightlife but wasn't even that loud pretty soundproof. room had a balcony that was slay

Kitchens big as but its a bit hectic nothing bad but pretty busy at all times if you're planning to cook also bunks are fine but do make noise every time you move lmao

While the room was small, the space was utilised well and had everything we needed. I liked the location of the hostel and view from the balcony/room. The public areas of hostel were also good.

Despite the fact the balcony was nice, it was also shared with another private room. If we were one party it would have been ok but it was random people and the encounters were awkward. The room in general was clean, however the more niche cleaning jobs like dusting and cleaning hard to reach places need to be done and weren't.
