The breakfast was a bit of a farce. The hot buffet rarely had full trays in all six of the cooked options. The orange bottle was often empty, as were the other fruit and milk dispensers. The fruit and yoghurt station was often part empty. Ditto the cheese and cold meat station. Each morning I elected to prompt the staff that the bacon tray was empty and or the orange juice bottle was empty etc, I even had to point out that the tomato sauce / ketchup bowl was empty. I thought this was really poor for a “luxury brand” hotel.

Loved the proximity and large room and bathroom. Restaurant Jevois in the hotel was outstanding.

Faced the back view but thats what we paid for. Because its a low rise building, there are no spectacular views of Queenstown but the position is so central, it didn't matter. I would have liked to be offered an opportunity to make a reservation at Jevois, since we were staying in the hotel. Instead we had to beg and ask multiple times until eventually they accommodated us.

Staff were amazing, so attentive and helpful. They really went the extra mile to make sure we were comfortable. The room was very clean, well-appointed and spacious. Location was central, we walked to all of the sites. Breakfast was great, amazing service and heaps of delicious food options.

TV and spa bath plug were faulty. We paid for a balcony room but were given one with no balcony. The explanation given (after enquiring) was that we had been upgraded due to (lack of) availability.

Superb location, our daughter had previously stayed here & had the same great experience as we did. Found staff in all areas of Hotel great. We did have a problem with the first morning breakfast as in drink order not going through & eggs/bacon on both our orders being left off on the al la carte menu but the following morning staff were very attentive & apologetic regarding the previous morning breakfast that was served.

We had access to the Executive Lounge but we only used it once in our 4 day stay. Didn't like the room, absolutely no atmosphere what so ever. Snacks, Cocktails & beers are nothing to rave about, definitely needs a shake-up. Found bars in the area much better.

view was lovely though have stayed in Queenstown previously with better views.

car parking was ridiculous. -there is no car parking! we had to park our hire car up the hill and in public car parking which is a concern for the car (re insurance) if it gets stolen or damaged. certainly, would make us reconsider staying here in the future if we had a car. (chances are we would not stay if we had a car, but we are unlikely to be there without a car) staff at front of house were a little rustic/casual - a bit of polish would be nice. cleaning staff very good.

Staff were superb, friendly and very knowledgeable. Breakfast was amazing, an incredible choice of food. Bar was a great place to relax, with wonderful cocktails and great hors d'oeuvres.

Room was great, apart from a few stains on the sofa. Clearly an older renovation, but comfortable and homely. Satellite TV in the bedroom didn't work, which was disappointing when paying extra for a suite.

The base room was simply wonderful- it was a lot bigger than I expected and it was luxurious. The bed was large and comfortable and the bathroom so modern and even had a TV screen for the bath. The bath itself even had jets. This was really a luxurious and great value stay.

The breakfast options were quite limited and basic for a five star hotel. I didn’t see any smoked salmon and the fruit range was limited to a few choices.

well presented, rooms are great sizes and well maintained and clean. location is fantastic.

with the current road works it was difficult to carry our bags up the flights of stairs next to the hotel. we had to do this a few times as when we first arrived to check in at 2pm we were told that the room wasn’t ready and we’re asked to come back in an hour, which was okay but would have preferred them to offer to store our bags instead of having to carry them up back the 3/4 flights of stairs.

Location is ideal, but be sure to have a room with view on the mountains. It’s clean. The exec lounge is excellent.

The AC/Heater are really slow (couple hours to really feel it) the sheets / bed covers are really uncomfortable. (Really dry sheets, old bed covers uneven. We personally didn’t had a good sleep any of the 5 nights.

Clean, staff were so helpful and professional

Only feedback I have is the room service menu at night wasn't great. I work really late so I like to order something for dinner quite late and my only options were a chicken wrap or cheeseboard. Be great if you guys could add a couple of hot healthy options
