Good location to beach … not too far from Old Town. Good breakfast .

Staff were rude at desk . Nice otherwise . We were three hours before checkin . Came back at appropriate time . Room still not ready . Made to wait until it was … which was two hours past time! They saw us sitting there right in front of us. Every half hour we asked if the room was ready … a curt NO! After two hours waiting - we went over to the desk and inquired and they said YES… for a while now! They didn’t have the decency to inform us when they saw us sitting there all that time. We had booked a superior room and with a sea view . No sea view and directly beside the elevators!! Very noisy… The front desk staff literally made us not want to return to this nice hotel . What a shame .

Staff need to smile a bit more, most of them looked bored and disinterested with exception of man who checked us in (sorry didn’t get his name). Would only accept cash in cafe bar but they always seemed to be short of change which was very messy

Good breakfast, clean and excellent location.

The hotel was not the one on the beach we thought we reserved. We were sent to another one of the same name across the street. Minor inconvenience that people should be aware of.

Cooked breakfast items were cold Hotel lacks atmosphere Pool bar lady unfriendly, she couldn’t take card payment and everyday all day insisted she had no change when paying cash( bit suspicious of this tactic)

Property was well situated, rooms were spacious and comfortable. Staff were polite and helpful. Breakfast buffet was amazing. Lots of choice and bubbles too! We didn’t use the pool, as it was March and too cold! Short walk into the old town along the beach.

There weren’t many plug sockets around the room. I would have expected one at each side of the bed. No kettle in the room. We stayed in a standard room. However, this didn’t mean we enjoyed our stay any less, and I would come here again and recommend to my friends.

The hotel is in a wonderful position with the balconies at the front looking over the sea. The rooms are spacious and have a balcony. The bathrooms are excellent 4 piece with ample fresh towels. If you require it the room will be cleaned and towels changed. We ate at the hotel every night and had a large selection of food to choose from and 6 courses. The staff at the reception were helpful in fact nothing was too much trouble, they were also very friendly and a delight to talk to. I would say this is the best hotel I've stayed at in 40 years of going away and I hope to visit again in February and again in December.

There was in my opinion nothing that could be improved.

thought I had booked beachfront hotel not the rear hotel. should be clearer as has pictures of the beach hotel on the booking system.

5* location right on the beach. We stayed in a superior sea view with a balcony overlooking the water. A 10-min walk along the cliff to the old town. The beach was clean and really long. Breakfast was good with dates, local cheeses (goat cheese and round, soft cheese were so good), fresh mango/melon/pineapple, local coffee (meio de leite). Charging points on each side of the bed. Retro, Miami vibe. Italian restaurant (Trattoria Toscana) next to the hotel was very good.

Bathroom needs upgrading particularly the shower stall. Bed was so-so.

Rooms were spacious. The location was perfect. Beach was right there. The patio area on the beach side was great. Old Town was a 5 min walk. Rooms were clean. The pool area was nice.

The food can have more selections. If I was on half board I would be disappointed because you would be eating the same thing day after day. Although the rooms are clean, restocking the bathroom was not consistent. Also the toilet paper are small roles. 2 small roles would not be enough for a family.
