Everything that is written in other reviews is 100% true. I was in Portugal for the first time and most of all in this trip I liked the place where I lived. I got really high. This is a great villa, probably the dream of every skater/surfer kid to do something like this to unite people with common interests together. I rested with my mother and we both liked everything. Most of all, I was delighted with the people who surrounded me in this place, I enjoyed every day. Ricardo is a very nice person in his own right and a very good host. The surf instructors are cool dudes too, they know exactly what they are doing. Thank you very much, I really want to come back again

We really enjoyed staying at the villa! Ricardo was our main point of contact for everything (organising the surf lessons, renting equipment, breakfast, house maintenance etc. ) He was always super responsive and flexible to our requests, he made our stay very relaxing and enjoyable! The location was very easy to reach from Lisbon, and is very close to the beach - you can go on foot or by the free bicycle provided at the accommodation. The property itself is very big as well, spacious living room and kitchen with all the utensils to do some quick cooking. There are several common bathrooms in the house and we had no issues with them at all. There's a huge backyard with a swimming pool and a chill out area also, perfect to socialise with the other guests in the house if you're in the mood.

Our room was facing the road so sometimes the traffic was a bit noisy, but nothing major that some earplugs could not solve.

One of them was a professional surfer, and the other had extensive experience in the sport. Their tips and advice added value to my surf sessions and made the overall experience more enjoyable. Its just better than expected. Ricardo is an amazing host, very helpful and hospitable, always in touch. The house is very cozy and charming, as the outdoor breakfast, there is everything you need even an vegan milk what is rare. Location is perfect, very close to the beach and u can use bicycles for free. The only thing that is not so easy to get to Lisbon by public transport, but if u have your own car then no problem its pretty close. The surf instructors are great too. So I was happy that I chose this place. Thank you Ricardo! I'm looking forward to come back someday.

The stay was extremely pleasant and welcoming. Ricardo made me feel welcome and at home, everywhere you go, be it surfing or Antonio restaurant (which Ricardo recommended) you feel the vibe of community, especially with the surfing guys. Breakfast is nice with 100% orange juice and fresh strawberries 🍓 the venue is a family house which makes it very authentic and cozy! The house is close to the road, but nonetheless the sleep was not disturbed, well, only be the singing birds, but that’s rather a nice thing to wake up at!

Great accommodation close to the beach, easy and helpful communication with the host, convenient arrangement of surf lessons, fresh breakfast adjusted to individual times of surf lessons, flexible check-in and check-out.

Just be aware you will probably need an Uber/car ride to get to Lisbon city center because public transport is not very extensive around Caparica and the ferry to Belem runs only every 1-2 hours.

I loved my stay at the Lisbon Surf Villa. Riccardo and the other staff are amazingly friendly and always there to help out. The breakfast was great and in a perfect time phrame. We were able to use the bikes for free and the beach/surf is very close by. I would definitely come back. Thank you for everything Riccardo and family :)

Ricardo was always available for any questions and was extremely regardful. Breakfast was very nice outside and the room was very clean and comfortable. For the surf lessons at another beach, Ricardo took us by van. All surf lessons included material and clothing. We were extremely satisfied with the entire stay.

Ricardo looked after us very well, the villa was beautifully clean and very spacious! The location was right by the beach and very close to the local supermarket. Cheap Bolt taxis into Lisbon center in the evening too! Thank you for having us!

The breakfast buffet was ideal for morning surf sessions, location is optimal as you can take a bike and rent a board from the house and be at Sao Joao in 5 minutes (~1 km from the house). Supermarket nearby, great wifi, a lot of outside space. Basically, an ideal place to work and surf from. Reachable from Lisbon by Bolt in ~40 minutes, at around 15eur.
