Very quiet, even though on a busy road. Bus stops very close to the apartments. 50cents a bus trip.

It's not close to shops and restaurants, that's why the buses were needed.

very nice, spacious, and cozy apartment that we had. comfy bed, clean bathroom, daily service was in general great. they even washed dishes after us! we would definitely choose this hotel to stay again.

however, somehow, we had mixed feelings about the daily servicing of our room. it exceeded our expectations at some point. on the other hand, there were constant glitches in some simple things, such as not replenishing coffee capsules or misunderstanding about the cleaning time. as well parking entrance is not very convenient, especially for unexperienced drivers. that's why it is only 9, not 10

The hotel was very good! A very comfortable room with a separate sofabed for our 4 year old son; I loved it that they contacted us in advance to ask if he was sleeping with us in the room or in "his own" bed. The staff was very friendly and attentive; they even provided a box of chocolates for my husbands birthday during our stay! they also helped us finding a new whale watching trip when our originally booked whale watching trip was cancelled. Breakfast was good; the only thing I can say that a little bit of variation in what they offer would be good but it was more than ok. Parking under the hotel is very convenient and it's a great added value not having to stress about having a place to park the car in the evening. The entrance is a bit narrow because there are always (wrongly) parked cars at the other side of the street but it's doable. The pool is very cold (I know that is maybe due to the time of the year but I expected it to be a bit warmer) but there is a spa that can be used as well and it's included in the price. (you have to book it in advance via the reception desk but if it's available you can use it) I would recommend this hotel for sure!

One small point: the electricity in the room is very noisy so we turned it off at night to be able to sleep.

The Staff was outstanding! Everybody was very welcoming and helpful. Thank you very much to the manager, Sissa, and the rest of the team. The breakfast was great, there were many options, and everything was good. The hotel is in an excellent location—a 5-minute walk to the marina and city center. The room/apartment is fantastic for short or long stays because it has a small kitchen.

It's not the hotel's fault, but the construction work in front of the building. Not only is it noisy in the morning, but it will ruin the views if you are facing the sea.

Everything! We spent three days here and it was outstanding. Actually, of the three weeks we spent in Spain and Portugal, this was the best apartment we had by far! First, the reception staff was very friendly and helpful - and let us check in early. The apartment was spotlessly clean and well appointed. The kitchen had everything you could possibly need and then some. It even had a smart TV, which is hard to find in Europe. We had a nice view of the ocean from our apartment. We used the beautiful pool one day and it was also very clean and refreshing. The breakfast was very good with a lot of choices and the restaurant staff were very attentive! The apartment building has nice underground parking for most of the tenants - first come/first serve. The location is excellent as it is a short walk to the waterfront and to downtown Ponta Delgada. And Ponta Delgada is an excellent location to explore the beautiful island since it is somewhat central. Stay at Pero Teive Bay Apartments - you will be glad you did!

The staff were so helpful and friendly, rooms and facilities were clean and the breakfast was great! The pool was also nice and quiet- great place to lounge with little kids. Great location to get into town and to the pier, but the only caveat with location is that you basically walk out onto the street because the sidewalk in front of the hotel is so narrow. So be very careful if travelling with small children.

I would have like at least an option to access food past breakfast- even a vending machine. I would have also appreciated having tissue paper (like Kleenex) and paper towel to blow our nose or clean up spills. Also, there’s no way to lock the door to the room from the inside so if you have kids they can get out very easily.

Perfect location and great facilities. Especially loved the spa and the view from the room. Super easy to book your private 50 minute spa slot. Staff was super friendly and communication over WhatsApp easy. Parking was ideal for the rental car. Couldn’t recommend this enough, especially for the price - amazing value.

Only thing that was annoying was quite loud hammering and drilling some mornings. Wasn’t the hotels fault as there was construction works right next door.

The location, parking, clean, nice staff, efficient kitchenette, good breakfast. Filtered water that was offered was great. Harbor view was nice. Tbe room was quiet at night.

Really liked the property, but have a few comments….The garage entrance was challenging but doable with a small car. The conditioning worked well but was a tad musty. The shower door leaked so floor mat got soaked during showers. It would be nice if the filtered water was provided in the lobby to refill water bottles instead of having to ask the staff each time. The hot tub in the spa was a bit too cold. Hopefully new construction won’t block the view of the harbor as it was nice to see the ships come in.

We had a unique experience at this hotel. When we arrived to check in, they told us they have had a problem in the system and there was a double booking on the same room and they were full, they had no room for us. However, the manager apologised, and offered us another accommodation in a partner hotel of theirs. Not only the place they found was perfect, but she drove us to the location itself and cared about finding a solution to a problem that can happen to anyone. This whole story shows that I might not know how the hotel is, but I can tell you it’s ran by people with good heart that truly care, and that you cannot find very often.

The hotel is really nice. Modern and clean and the rooms are spacious. Our room overlooked the street, so we had a bit of noise if our windows were open. Our friends' room was on the pool side, so they didn't have the noise. I'd recommend asking for a room overlooking the pool. The staff was lovely and very helpful. The breakfast buffet was quite nice. A nice plus is the onsite parking.

This isn't a big thing - but I'm not a fan of showers that have a half wall of glass. Inevitably, water gets everywhere after a shower. There is a "spa" onsite, but it is very simple and not what I think of when I hear "spa". A hot tub (which wasn't working when we wanted to use it), a steam room and sauna. The steam room and sauna were not really enjoyable, as they never got sufficiently hot and the directions were hard to understand.
