The view of Porto is spectacular, sunset can’t be beat - the bed and bedding is comfortable - nice to have a fridge and kettle. The room is nicely decorated. Great location, very close to the river and the bridge over to Porto

The entrance door is very narrow and heavy- had difficulty holding it open to get luggage in. The stairs up to the 2nd floor, as mentioned in other reviews, are very uneven and steep, making it very difficult to carry up luggage. The shower is quite small w crumbling walls, also no window blinds in the bathroom. The building itself is currently under construction w banging beginning at 8a. Didn’t affect our trip, but just pointing it out for future guests

This was a beautiful apartment with stunning views of the Douro River. The apartment is conveniently located close to the metro. It is also adjacent to many restaurants and bars by the riverside. Self check-in was easy. We were sent the entry codes ahead of time. The apartment had all the amenities we needed for a 3-night stay. It was very clean and comfortable. Working AC, strong WiFi. There was a small kitchenette that we didn’t really use (other than the coffee machine). Bathroom was in great working order, maybe a little compact. I would definitely stay here again.

There’s a narrow stairwell to get to the apartments, but that’s nothing compared to the rest of Porto. Many steps and steep areas in the surrounding areas that you’ll run into

Riverside apartments are the perfect place to stay and to explore Porto and Gaia. I cannot think of a better location. You do not need a car. You can easily explore Porto by walking from the apartment. The attractive Gaia riverside is at your doorstep and the Ribeira riverside is just across the bridge. The apartment is located next to the bridge. In the night all is very quiet. I would definitely go back. Last but not least, the owners are perfect hosts and are in touch to make sure all is well.

The location is amazing and wouldn't pick another. Amazing views from the room over the River. Very comfy. We enjoyed the Calem port tasting. Very informative. The cafe over the road Portobello made us the Portuguese sandwich which was amazing but felt disappointed that we couldn't finish it.

There has obviously been a leak from the bathroom at some point. The floor has dropped and visible around the skirting board. Some flooring needed attention but didn't change the stay in any way. Just needs a little TLC.

The studio was perfect was perfect for us, it had everything we needed. The view is incredible, overlooking Porto old town. Sitting at the table with the window open having breakfast or an afternoon/evening drink was the highlight. You coujd see and hear the life below. Even the view from the bathroom was beautiful. Everything clean and the bed comfortable.

Clean. Gob-smacking view of Porto. Bedroom on road. Kitchen and bathroom face the river. Loved the first floor location and free parking for the two days we walked around Porto. Fab to have the bike shop as the in-person bag drop and info point. Email comms very responsive.

Friday was fine. Saturday had little sleep from traffic. Carpet (by bed) needed to be re vacuumed. Hubby sneezed 🤧 from dust?

My favourite thing about this experience was the communication with the owners, Jorge and Celeste. They were really helpful and kind. The apartment was super well equipped, clean and comfortable. We had a place to park, which is something really valuable. Good internet connection. The localization is amazing, you can reach the main touristic points by walking. And the view is beautiful!

I believe the only problem we had was the noise at night. Since it is a touristic area, we have many bars and restaurants around, so it is expected. Not terrible, but it might be annoying for some people.

Celeste and Jorge were super communicative and helpful before arrival and throughout our stay. The views from the apartment are spectacular even from the first floor unit. The apartment was very clean and had all the things we needed. Just a heads up the stairs in the building are quite steep and you will have to carry your suitcase up them. The location is right on the river. You are on the Gaia side where all the port houses are but a quick walk across the bridge to get to Porto and you can take the Funicular to the top of the hill or meander through the streets up the hill (or take a massive flight of stairs if you want to walk off your Francesinha sandwich.

Not the fault of this property but there was construction going on during our stay both on the bridge itself and on the cliff side with lots of jack hammering. We used ear plugs and it wasn’t a huge issue

Excellent location, the free parking offer is life-saving as we didn't need to waste time finding a parking spot in a always crowded city. The flexible check-in was also a must and its process via codes was very straight forward and quick. The apartment was very clean and very complete with a lot of free to use necessities, which we didn't even use all of them because we only stayed one night. The view is amazing and relaxing. The bedroom area is quiet so you don't suffer with the nightlife noise. Overall a great place for a Porto getaway where you don't have to worry about parking and everything is accessible by foot. We will definitely come back and stay more than 1 day to really make use of all the apartment available necessities.

The staircases are a bit dodgy and the steps don't have the same height. It's not an easy walk when going up and down with your luggage and we were at the highest floor (3rd) so we had the longest walk to do. Not a huge problem for us since we are still young, but worth to mention it for any older guests looking to stay in it.

The location and views of the harbor were fantastic!! Our apt was AWESOME!!! The instructions on how to enter were clear and accurate. The day we checked out, we ended up meeting the owner, Celeste who couldn't have been nicer! She even gave us a ride up to the monastery on the top of the hill above the apt. Her hospitality/kindness was very appreciated! There was parking close by which we appreciated. We highly recommend staying in this apt and hope to go back someday :)
