We really enjoyed our stay, the fun retro decor, and overall great atmosphere. The staff was very friendly and helpful including the outdoor bar. There's games all around the outside bar area and tons of different seating options. Just as a side note to check-in there is a little slider window beneath the stairs at the end of the restaurant chilte, was a little confusing with our late arrival. Would highly recommend this hotel to friends and family, just be mindful music on the weekends does run late and they offer ear plugs if it's not your thing.

As a heads up, the parking lot is pretty small so you may have to street park when there is live music or events.

I love the vibe of this hotel! Our greetings from the front desk agent was amazing. She was so welcoming and was very happy to even show my husband and I the trailer unit that could be occupied as well!

I didn't like that the floors were VERY dirty as well as the bathrooms were a bit grungy. I also didn't like that the shower didn't have full coverage and the water was splashing out all over the bathroom floors.

What a great hotel. They took the time to make it so unique and hip!! Best hotel for miles around.

We loved to whole bar/dj thing in the courtyard but the dj had volume on high when place was virtually empty. I suggest playing softer lounge music as people trickle into bar area in early evening. People are there to talk and socialize and having to yell over the music especially when no one is there?? Well, we went elsewhere for dinner because of it and we would have loved to stay if we could have heard each other speak. But we love the set up and concept…

This place is so amazing!! My friend and I just needed a clean and safe place to stay after a concert. We arrived early and played with the adorable flotation devices in the shallow and refreshing pool!! It was so hard to leave! There was so much creativity and love in every detail of this unique and special resort!! An awesome oasis in the middle of the city. Incredible attention to detail in a whimsical retro style. Slept surprisingly well on the tiny, but comfortable, bunk bed. Played some songs this morning from the concert we saw the night before on the guitar provided in the room. SO COOL. A guitar! We loved the staff, and had incredible oat milk latte with organic hazelnut syrup (so happily surprised to see organic ingredients!!!), and a yummy reinvented, locally made strawberry pop tart...a very sweet send-off! Would love to return to enjoy some more of the amenities and festivities!!!

Would have loved a freezer in that cute red retro fridge!! Bathroom door didn't close. A large cloth to cover the huge TV screen would have been great! No breakfast menu at Chilte, the restaurant, except quiche.

My only regret on my first trip to the US is that I didn't stay here longer! We arrived very late due to a flight delay, but the gentleman on reception was more than happy to deal with us, and seemed legitimately interested to speak to us (we discussed the music scene in Sheffield, UK!). The room was fantastic with lots of quirkly features, but more importantly, a very comfy bed! Had the most delicious coffee from the cafe on site in the morning. Such a lovely place to stay! My partner and I highly recommend the Egyptian Motor Hotel!

the location was perfect and close to everything! the staff and rooms were phenomenal! we drove up to a band playing which was super cool! it is a louder stay, they have events/music and the bar going on right outside your door which we didn’t mind at all, but if you’re a light sleeper I’d consider elsewhere. the room decor was so unique and had everything we needed including a microwave, fridge, blowdryer, speaker, multiple charging ports/outlets and free wifi! the parking lot is small, but for a small fee per day you can reserve a spot! we will definitely be staying here every time we visit!

the check in window is a bit confusing to find, but it’s as soon as you walk in to the left next to the mural! it looks like a food order window (which you can order food from) but it’s also the check in/ check out!

This is a hip, eclectic motor hotel with a great vibe. There is an outdoor bar, pool and live bands on Saturday behind the parking lot. This is not for people who are seeking quiet, but a blast if up for fun. They have shades over the room window that allows light and a view but don't let passers by peek into your room. I wish all motels would have these. Great location, too.

The bathroom needed more shelf storage but this is a very minor complaint. They charge for parking but street parking is free and close.

The vibe, the morning latte, the proximity to the convention center. I’m impressed how they pulled off the retro look - there was even a magic 8 ball in the room! My favorite was the pod chair - it swivels! The service was also phenomenal. The manager was incredibly helpful and made sure I had a great experience.

Shower could have been hotter but it wasn’t cold. I just like my showers incredibly hot 😂.

I know it's new but the food took forever. Felt like our waiter was ignoring us. Saw our drinks sitting at the bar for 10 mins before he went and got them. He seemed preoccupied with another table he was just chatting with. Like they were friends maybe. Food was great though when we finally got it

Very cute and kitschy - excellent backyard vibes at the bar/pool area- very friendly staff- we didn’t get a chance to eat at the restaurant but everyone we ran into raves about it! Cocktails were excellent and we wish we had more time to spend there!
