The hotel is an old mansion (it seems). it’s very well located near restaurants , stores , and a supermarket that serve the local community as well as one block from the terrific beach. The staff is very nice and helpful, and the facility is basic but excellent in most ways , and very clean. My only regret is that the window in the room didn’t open as I would have enjoyed getting fresh air in the room. the hotel also has ample outdoor sitting areas but no coffee is served in the hotel or found in the rooms , which is not terrible but coffee in the morning somewhere in the hotel - free or for purchase - would be a great help.

People were not immediately at the door for che k in, or I possibly did not press the door buzzer sufficiently hard. My only complaint about the facilities is the lack of microwave and fridge available for guests. Guests like to buy food for storage, rendering its omission from the otherwise charmingly quaint interior design and architecture a curious anomaly. Unseratable is the desire tompreserve the furniture and interior aesthetic without a jarring machine. But not having one at all to share, at least, infers management preference to cut expenses. This is a wonderful value boutique hotel very close to the beach and the sights around ocean park. During the off season and with a staffing shortage it wasn’t in the kind of shape I’ve seen it in years past, but it is still wonderful and charming. The pool is fantastic! And you can also use the hot tub at Acacia. So close to the beach - quick Uber to old San Juan. Will be back for sure.

Some typical wear and tear - not a pristine hotel or room, but id you’re looking for a clean quiet place to stay while you are out exploring it’s the place for you. Not the place for you if you are looking to mainly hang around the hotel - it’s not a resort but a good boutique hotel.

We were in close proximity to the beach, just a three minute walk! We also loved the proximity of a nice little breakfast place across the street. Check in is very easy and the staff was very courteous and answered all her questions. We loved Bar area and the tables and chairs they were available outside our room on the patios! There are public scooters very near to the hotel which we used for transportation! It worked out great.

I thought parking was on the premises, but found out when we arrived that parking was on the street, so that was a little disappointing. I was also disappointed in the fact that I emailed to ask if we could get an early check in and the only response that I received was that I could ask when I arrived?! Lastly, there was no towels in our rooms when we arrived and the bathroom door could use some updating as it was practically see-through and offered very little privacy.

The location was great, the staff was friendly.

After a certain time no one is available for check-in you have to call a number on the door to be let in or check-in at a different location, it was me and my friend 2 woman waiting on the sidewalk for a while for someone to let us in and check-in. It was 2 AM we were stressing a little. The room did not have refrigerator or Iron or microwave.

Welcoming staff. Beautiful, safe location with good restaurants and the beach close. The room was pretty.

the property is beautiful. old world Spanish colonial style …Very pretty and it’s in a great location . a small block right from the beach. loved the local eating spots . The staff was excellent very helpful and friendly . The hotel felt safe.

I didn’t like that the bar is closed. it was one of the reasons I chose it. No hair dryers in the room or iron. The kitchenette is outdated and could use updating and more color.

I absolutely loved the old charm feel it gave us it is beautiful the rooms are Clean bathrooms are not huge but just perfect in size the king-size bed was extremely comfortable fridge n microwave in the room made things very convenient I absolutely love the space and will return as soon as possible.

We didn’t like that the pools are not open 24 hours it closes at 6:30 it’s not a huge pool but you also have access to their sister property down the street but it also closes at 6:30 I can’t find anything else to complain about I really love the place the stuff was amazing extremely helpful always informative it’s in a great spot away from the big hustle and bustle but not too far away you can’t walk and have your morning coffee great breakfast a block from the beach it’s just a perfect spot we loved everything about it we had all private room with a balcony.

Super nice staff. One block from the beach. Quiet area but a bit of a walk to food/activities. Uber is easy to get. Large rooms and.great AC.

It's a bit of a.trek.to get to anything other than th beach but scooters are.everywhere.
