In my first visit to Bucharest I have the luck to be a guest at the Raddison. I didn't have any references but to choose a five star hotel for my stay in the city of the many operating in the city. To try I made a reservation for 2 nights to evaluate if I want to stay for more time as I am traveling for longer. It was above my expectations and I am a seasoned international business man used to be a regular client of some of the most demanding hotels in Europe. The size of the rooms are big, the isolation is good, the service is excellent and very competent. There is a good business center is rooms for meetings. The Thai Spa facilities, with dry and wet saunas, are very good and the 2 hours massage that I received my first day from a Balinese employee was new life after 20 hours of traveling 2.100 km between Geneva and Bucharest. The prices of the service was very low and convenient. There are several restaurants whith a great choice of dishes and cuisine styles. I have chosen meats served in the pool and sushi in the Asian restaurant. Both are good and the prices are correct. The Romania dry white wine is excellent and cheap. The room service has visited my room twice a day to check if I need anything. I have needed different services from the front desk and been helped very efficiently and professionally by an employee with origins in Montreux, Switzerland. Overall I sincerely recommend your stay in the Raddison Blu Hotel when in Bucharest looking for a top hotel

Very good, central location near to restaurants/cafes. Excellent large pool area with comfortable loungers and access to pool bar & large spa. Comfortable & quiet room which meant for a really good sleep.

The room was quite dark. The rooms weren't really cleaned/topped up properly each day e.g. not taking away dirty cups/glasses, not giving enough towels, not replacing tea/coffee. Staff at the pool bar were a little unfriendly.

- service at the Aristocool poolside restaurant (had one very bad experience) - lighting everywhere is meant to be "modern", not very functional - in room coffee machine needs lots of coaching to produce a cup - most interesting TV channels locking up after 15-20 minutes of continous watching; need to switch away and back to restore viewing; TV "applications" mostly not working

The staff was amazing, especially Mr. Christian on the reception desk. The breakfast was rich, tasty and excellent. Sam, the housekeeping person in charge of our room was very kind and professional.

Entrance to the casino (upper floor) was not free (also for hotel guests), it cost 50 Lei per person per day. the lower floor was free but with basic service only.

In the central. All restaurants in the hotel are great Amazing location, in the weekend the main road is close and you can walk free. Very clean and comfortable.

The service in the pool’s restaurant was very slow and not very nice.

The staff , especially at the reception and bar, were terrible, especially at the bar where they were always complaining about too much work, swearing at each other and not taking care about their customers, which by the way, all were irritated by the staff behavior . This is extremely sad to experience in such a nice hotel.

AC, is not able to control, felt sometimes cold/ hot too dry... The cleaning staff, overly intervene with the organization moving stuff and easy hand throwing stuff, while not focusing on cleaning, e.g bathroom floor, we could see water stains.

it’s a nice hotel in good neighborhood. lovely to eat in, it has a lot of choices of restaurants. it’s been raining when I’ve stayed in, but in lobby it was perfectly clean, even with a lot of people coming in. also receptionists working very quick and being friendly no matter what.

the view from the window was very bad 🥲 it was for inside yard with garbage and other windows of the building. also there was no cupboard in room. and no QR code dishes menu in room, and no info about spa.

The staff such as Mr Alex helped me a lot with my flight. Also I was given a late checkout and moved to a more comfortable room. Thank you for that.

I was unhappy with the cooling system that didn't work for the whole building and the heating was too high making it impossible to sleep, which is the whole point of a hotel room. Apparently the whole hotel has no cooling for 2 weeks (Feb 2023 visit).
