great location... beautiful hotel and well trained staff

impossible bathrooms...the sink was a flat plate with some holes. the water spilled everywhere. the bathtub very deep and uncomfortable and the water faucet complicated. The designer had no idea about comfort.

The room was very big being a suite. The hotel is quite opulent in a very good traditional style. Breakfast had good buffet choices including fish. Also various egg dishes cooked to order. The hotel is in a good position and only about a ten minute walk from Old Town.

The bathroom was a bit on the small size compared with the overall suite size. The worst thing was the 'ultra modern' wash basin which was oversize at about 750-800mm x 750-800mm square and not very useable. Instead of being a normal dipped sink it was near to flat and instead of a plug hole had seven holes in a line in the centre. Also the bathroom wall/door were glass with modesty strips which worked up to a point. In our opinion the bathroom style was totatlly out of keeping with the good traditional style of the rest of the suite. The 'English Club' style bar for us didnt have a very attractive bar which didn't encourage us to have a drink there.

Stayed for three nights in July 2024 as part of a trip around eastern Europe. Wonderful welcome received from reception staff who remained friendly and informative throughout our stay and would politely field any questions asked. Our room, on the third floor, was very large with an entrance hall, two full length windows and fantastic air conditioning. The room included a large, comfortable bed, ample storage, a safe, complimentary water, tea and coffee and a good sized fridge. There is a Carrefour mini market 3 minutes-walk away. The room was impeccably cleaned daily. Excellent free Wi-Fi was also included. The location is great, situated on the main through road and just a short walk from the Old Town with lots of varied restaurants, bars and shops in the surrounding neighbourhood. Access to the hotel spa was also included and a very welcome break after long days in the summer heat. The breakfast buffet was first class - varied and substantial and enjoyed in a relaxed atmosphere. I have no hesitation in thoroughly recommending. A great value hotel in a wonderful location.

as we stayed at this hotel twice during this trip, the second room (of the same class) was small and with an awkward bathroom which flooded the bathroom with each shower (no curtain, no door, no nothing). As for both rooms, there are no USB outlets and there is a desk with no electrical outlets! you have to charge your phone/computer by the bed, near your head. It is a nice hotel but with bad human engineering.

Location is in the center of everything. Can walk to major site of interests. The staff are all very friendly and attentive. Michael at the reception welcomed us warmly when we arrived very early in the morning and gave us good option for early check-in with minimal fee. Breakfast is with good variety and with attentive and good staff service too. Rooms are huge, clean and elegantly decorated. We loved our stay so much that we booked our stay with them when returning from Transylvania 3 days after. This hotel is highly recommended to anybody travelling to Bucharest.

Wi-fi at the reception was very weak which was nedeed when we were booking our uber. But thanks to the staff who came to the rescue.

An elegant hotel, in an impressive old building. Excellent, central location, within walking distance of the old town, Museum of Art and Athenaeum. Clean, comfortable room. Friendly staff. Good menu options at the Bistro.

The breakfast area is a bit small and tends to get crowded at times, with service also affected as a result (if you want to order cooked items from the kitchen, rather than just the buffet). Also, there were parties on the ground floor on two successive nights which caused a lot of noise on that floor.

The hotel itself was extremely quiet, despite being in such a central location. We stayed in room 116. Very laid back atmosphere around the hotel. Room was very clean and big with a high ceiling. Bathroom had everything you needed including a bath, great shower and hairdryer. Air conditioning could also be switched on in the room. Staff were great and we were able to leave our bags behind reception on our last day after checking out, so we could see the sights without them before catching our flight.

Not the hotels fault but the old town seems to be full of places to eat that spread all over the pavements, once you get past that the rets is lovely, but with people trying to usher you in and fighting over you to go into the restaurant's was not pleaseant

Easy walking distance to restaurants and lots of historic buildings and sites. Beautiful hotel and decor, the hotel spa has free pool and jacuzzi.

I understand its a business but had to pay for late afternoon check-out (train departure). Buffet breakfast had a great selection but the 'hot' items were cold.
