Location was perfect-right by Queens Plaza station we were able to use the Airtrain from the airport to the E at Jamaica to get there, and that station has several other lines that we took to all of our destinations without having to make any transfers. Felt very safe, nearby restaurants and great grocery store not too far away called Foodcellar. Our room and the view (city view) was great. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the rooftop lounge was nice for viewing the city in the evening and hanging out during the day.

The gorgeous rooftop lounge gives stunning views of Manhattan- however it was closed to a private event. Also nearby restaurant choices were limited

I have only one complaint but it is rather important: the room is very and I mean very noisy. The room heater, the little fridge, the street (although 11 floors below), the neighbours, the trains…there is simply always some loud noise. Always. With better phonic insulation the hotel deserves a ten, really.

Amazing location! Long island city is a great alternative to Manhattan. 1 min walk to subway station on the same side as the hotel and 15 mins train ride to Manhattan. Staff was very friendly. Room is big enough for 2 ppl. Rooftop view is amazing. Too bad a building blocks the view of the Empire State or else we would have seen it right from the hotel’s roof. Only one small minus point is they have probably have a very small luggage storage room so we had to leave our suitcases in the lobby because we checked out for a few days and came back to stay at the hotel again for a night. I will definitely stay there again in the future!

The staff were super accommodating and friendly. They were a life saver for letting my friend borrow a band-aid and scissors. We were able to check in early, which helped a lot with getting ready for our first full day in NY. They were able to provide some extra towels, which was lovely and much needed. I really feel like the staff went above and beyond. The room itself was super clean and I was pleasantly surprised by how quiet it was. My friends and I stayed on the 13th floor so that might be why the city sounds were quite faint. I loved the location too, especially the view from the top floor. 10/10 would stay here again!!!

I don't really have anything negative to say. I suppose it would have been nice to have robes in the room but that didn't impact the experience. The view was obscured by some building stuff but it didn't really matter to us.

The room was spacious enough for 4 adults. The restroom was also huge. We didn't have breakfast but the location was really great because it's near some groceries, restaurants, Target and Trader Joe's. Even if it's not in Manhattan, you can easily get there by train because of a subway station that's nearby (Queens Place).

Just the check-in time - even if the check-in time says 3 PM and we arrived around that time, we still had to wait because there were no "vacant" rooms

The staff was really friendly and helpful. Even the security card made me feel safe when I was checking in late art night by myself. The bar staff made delicious welcome drinks! My friend also loved that they had some games, it kept us entertained in the little down time we had from our work event. Everything was walking distant for eating and shopping for last minute event supplies.

My only comment was not having a fridge in my room. I didn't realize this, so it was a bummer when I couldn't store my drinks or food.

The staff attempted to move us to a quieter room. The bed was extremely comfortable and the room was made up nicely every day. The rooftop deck with views of the city was fabulous. The front desk staff helped me find the cheapest Taxi/Uber/Lyft option to get to the airport. The location was very close to two metro stations with multiple lines going into Manhattan and out to the airports.

There was not a lot that could be done about the noise that came from construction sites on both sides of the building.

For this price for Hotel we should have a breakfast for free.

I was very pleasantly surprised by this property. Usually, I'm not a fan of very modern facilities because of ultra minimalism. However, this hotel, although modern, is very comfortable. It's not a former storage or factory site converted into a hotel, but rather a modern building with quiet and comfortable rooms. Beds are very comfortable 9if you like them to be on the softer side). I'm very happy they have a safe and a small fridge 9apparently, not a lot of hotels in NYC have fridges). I really appreciate a consistent housekeeping service. The bed was made up daily, towels were changed out daily, trash was taken out daily (believe it or not, quite a few hotels are saving money by reducing these services). The hotel is very close to a train station and there are plenty of places to eat, a few 24 hr. bodegas, and a pharmacy few blocks away.

There was nothing I could complain about. I would say, there are a few things to consider whilst choosing this hotel. 1. There's massive construction going on in front, 2 new skyscrapers are being built and they start at 7-8 am during the week and it can be very noisy. So, consider requesting rear-facing rooms. 2. I'm really nitpicking here, the beds are very soft and some people might not like that.
