Comfy bed. The bathroom was lovely. Nice decor. Spacious. Big smart tv. Good location.
There was no blind on the skylight, so it was really bright early in the morning, which didn't help my sleep! The front door didn't seem to shut properly, like it didnt completely fit into the frame (it was secure and did lock though). This made it a bit cold and you could loudly hear the noise from outside and the birds at dawn. Combined with the brightness from he lack of a skylight blind it caused me to have a restless nights sleep. I would return, but maybe take a sleep mask and some ear plugs next time.

Booked for one night as visiting friends in the area. Read the reviews after we'd booked and very nearly didn't go, but as it was by far the cheapest option locally we thought stuff it and off we went. The bar was very busy when we arrived at 6pm, a friendly local took us to the check in desk. The lady that checked us in was lovely. The doormen were so friendly. Our room was in the annexe and was perfectly acceptable for one night. Clean, warm and the two single beds were comfy. Heating was on when we arrived, big telly with Netflix etc, kettle with lots of tea, coffee. Yes the room is small and a bit tired looking but as long as clean and warm who cares? At £53 quid we have no complaints. We headed back to our room at 11pm expecting the worst after reading all the complaints of noise. We had ear plugs ready.. No need! Yes we could hear hear the music but only faintly and we couldn't hear the people outside at all. This was a Saturday night. Maybe we were just lucky or it's worse in the rooms above the pub but we had no issues at all. The music ended at midnight then silence. The bottle bins were emptied at 7.30 Sunday morning but that lasted 5 minutes. Nice cuppa then off home. So no complaints from us. If you're looking for luxury look elsewhere. If you want a cheap, warm room for the night with a comfy bed I think you'll be happy enough :-)
It was fine.

Lovely big room on the top floor. King size bed, large smart tv, Chair and footstool, wardrobe with hangers, ironing board and iron. Coffee and tea making facilities, really warm and quiet room, amazing shower and bathroom. £155.80 for 3 nights. . It doesn't get much better being honest. Bar downstairs, live music and disco till late, first come first served free car park which is locked at night.
Sometimes the keys played up, not really a problem, this can happen in any hotel!

Value for money, staff was very friendly its not the grand hotel but not a dump we enjoyed our stay.
Parking is a nightmare best to get there early if going on a Saturday as there us a disco and gets packed .you can hear the disco but not that bad and you get told when checking in .another downside is no food but plenty of places around to eat. Sadly the shower was very small to get into if larger person or tall

The staff there on the two nights I stayed were absolutely brilliant and so welcoming. I wouldn't hesitate to stay again.
I knew before booking my stay at The Coach that they played music til late. That didn't bother me, but I was just unlucky with my room placement as it seemed to be just above the noise, which was promptly stopped at the end of the evening.

Be aware, there is a VERY busy bar downstairs so it's noisy til half 12 am, so don't moan about the noise. It's an old building so it's not like premier inn. Tbf it could do with a bit of updating (although we were on the top floor & I believe there were about 16 rooms. Apparently ours wasn't one of the best, but perfectly adequate. 42" Tv & all the usual you'd expect from a hotel. All in all, more than satisfactory
The hotel didn't do food so had t go out for breakfast, although there were places locally that did, so not a massive issue.

We were met with a friendly lady booking us in. Bar was busy but once upstairs in our lovely room we felt a world away from it. We could hear the music below but we knew that when we booked. We enjoyed the bath in the room, the local curry house and the location near to the NEC where we were heading the next day.

Location was good as it's a short walk on the same road to the shops. Bed and shower were good. Friendly staff especially in the daytime.
Coming in late at night was a little awkward as the lady on duty seemed a little odd after she'd had a few drinks. Thankfully there was a man there to intervene before things got more awkward.

Surprisingly the rooms were really modern and clean although brown marble makes for an interesting floor patttern Useful for Birmingham airport and has over night car park
Pub didn’t look great but staff were all friendly and helpful Weren’t sure how to close Velux blinds although not a problem in November.

the quality of the room exceeded expectation for the price. Needed somewhere close to airport for a few hours sleep. Bed was perfect!
Unfortunately the hotel is a pub which is fine, but, we were above where the smokers go outside and that was very noisy. We were super tired but it could have been more annoying if you aren't as tired as we were.
