It was really fun staying here - so much so that I'll look for Staycity again when staying in other cities. It's a brilliant solution for families as you don't always want to eat out. It worked better for us than an Airbnb as we wanted somewhere with a staffed reception and other people around. The essentials in the apartment were fab. Bed and sofa bed super comfy and shower the most powerful of any I've had in far more expensive hotels. Staff were extremely friendly and kind. Shout out to Celia, Mavis and Faiza, all of whom went above and beyond (sorry if I have misspelt any names). We all loved Mavis' joyful manner! Thanks for a really lovely stay!

It would be really helpful to have a notice in the room with a number you can call if you have any issues. It isn't always possible to leave the room and head to reception.

We had a wonderful stay! The accommodation was very clean and well-maintained. It featured useful kitchen facilities, including a microwave, fridge, and stove (though we didn't end up using the stove). The space was reasonable and comfortable, making it perfect for our family. We truly loved the experience and will definitely choose this place over a hotel in the future. It was worth every penny!

We loved the kitchen facilities, which made our stay very convenient. The location was great, being close to the town centre and our planned destinations. The on-premises parking and free street parking were a big plus. The place was clean and reasonably comfortable. We stayed in a family room that had a designated space for the children to sleep, separated from the adults, yet we were all in the same room with two TVs, which was perfect for us.

We had absolutely wonderful experience at StayCity apartments during our weekend in Birmingham. From the moment we arrived we were welcomed at the reception, we even got some ice lollies, it was such a great touch. Our room was at the 4th floor, and had everything we needed especially Nexpresso Coffee machine. Location was brilliant, just short walk to city centre, bars, shops, restaurants. We also could park our car at the car park downstairs. Overall we would give 10 out of 10 and we would definitely stay again.

Conveniently located for the Utilita arena. Well equipped kitchen, although we weren’t there long enough to make much use of it. The secure parking was a bonus: spaces are limited, so reserving in advance is probably essential, but reasonable value at £17.50 for one night. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room wasn’t quite ready when we arrived, they dealt with it exceptionally well: free drink while we waited….which turned out to be about 5 minutes, and they extended checkout by an hour. Returning to the hotel in the early hours of the morning it was an unexpected pleasure to find the bar open, and they could even cook us a couple of pizzas.

Loved our stay at Staycity! The space was compact but absolutely perfect for what we needed. Tucked right in the Jewellery Quarter of Birmingham, which is a lovely area with loads of great coffee shops and places to eat, it felt like the ideal base for exploring. The hotel itself was quiet, super comfortable, and had plenty of tea and coffee stocked in the room (always a win). Honestly, I LOVED it. From now on, Staycity will be the first place I look when booking a city stay (and I never say that about hotels). It just makes so much sense when you're travelling with family. Thoughtful, convenient, and just easy in all the right ways.

Nice stuff on reception; Very good water pressure (but drainage could be improved to catch up) Pretty good location, close to city center but quite area. 2 TVs - good, but did manage to screen cast only on one of them, so can't watch it from my bed =( Clean room and linings

No parking was available Not possible to open the window (all locked) Very load climate control, so i ended up having it completely off to sleep well. Poor quality beds; flabby mattresses and very tightly packed pillows, do not match with the size of the pillow case, thus you can not distribute the fillings evenly. Double bed is just two single beds moved close together, you can definitely feel the split, uncomfortable.

The bed was comfortable and the general layout of the apartment was great - loved that there was a Electric Stove and iron/ironing board in the room, i always appreciated that in apartments and hotels - Will definitely stay again but hopefully we can get better lighting and better TV's.

The bathroom light is very dim, its virtually impossible to shave or do your makeup in there, either you need to put in mirror lights or having More/brighter lights in the bathroom. Also I strongly advise having a TV in the bedrooms area and all tv's should be minimum 42" or more. Also I find that all hotels/apartments have virtually the same fridges and they are never cold enough - its genuinely a issue, make your fridges colder please!

The property was in a great location and offered a clean and quiet environment, making it perfect for a relaxing stay. The staff were polite and friendly, ensuring a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, and the beds were exceptionally comfortable. Additionally, the Wi-Fi was reliable and fast, which was a definite bonus.

Although the property was booked for three people, the sofa bed had to be made up ourselves, which was inconvenient. The living room had a TV, but there wasn’t enough seating for three people to sit comfortably and enjoy it together. Additionally, no milk was provided despite it being stated that there would be some in the fridge. Lastly, while the shower was powerful, it was almost too intense, making it uncomfortable to use.

-The staff was friendly and helpful. -Loads of space in the room, got offered to upgrade so I had a 2 bed in the end. It had 2 bathrooms, kitchenette part where it had a fridge and coffee machine. -The bin got emptied daily. -Great communication, you could message them or go to reception and they will help with whatever it is. -There was a laundry room on the premises, also a gym if you could go (I couldn't cause I had the kids). -The tv had basic channels, there was also free WiFi.

I mean..There could've been an oven but it wasn't a massive deal. The area is ok, not too far from the town but everything is a bit spaced out..Depending what shop you want. Could've had Netflix on the tv, or something other then free view but also not a big deal cause I wasn't in a lot of the time.

The apartment was centrally located within walking distance of the Bullring. Staff were friendly and helpful. Off street parking was very useful as the area has parking restrictions.The 24 hour manned desk proved useful when we arrived late in the evening.The building backs onto the central canal which is good for walking. the canals. The gym is well equiped with a wide range of machines. Both a Co-op store and a Tesco are close by

The bathroom was exceptionally small. Large people would find the area challenging.as. they would have to back in .There are not adequate working surfaces in the kitchen. The toaster had to be placed on the bed if the cook top was being used. . Having to scan a block for operating instructions for the equipment is annoying for an older person. The access card for the room was not reliable.
