Location was good, close enough to get to main attractions but at the same time quiet. Kerry-Anne was superb host with nothing too much trouble and helpful in getting travel information. Beds were most comfortable during our stay in New Zealand, and room had everything we needed and in good condition. WiFi was great and tv channels were aplenty

Some of the connecting walls were not soundproofed so we heard a lot of noise from the next apartment as well as some road traffic. Being really picky there was no mirror in the bathroom convenient for shaving

I had an early admission to Tauranga hospital for surgery with an overnight stay. We travelled to Tauranga the night before. Our room was a good size with kitchenette, dining table and 2 lounge chairs. A comfy king size bed. It was modern, warm, clean and quiet. We were close to the hospital, for my husband to be able to return to and relax. The facilities close by are a bonus. It suited our stay. It is definitely one of the nicer motels we have stayed in for a while. Highly recommend.

It’s not often that a Motel exceeds your expectations but I have to say the Ambassador Motor Inn did just that! Friendly Welcoming staff, the room was very well appointed, very clean and tidy and just really comfortable. The pool was an added bonus and was very well maintained with loungers and some great pool toys for kids. Lots of restaurants a short drive away as well as a supermarket. I wish we could have stayed longer! See you next time for sure :)

Kerry-Anne was absolutely amazing, what a credit to the Motor Inn, warm, inviting, friendly and so bubbly. The room itself was great, light, clean, and large and done the job. The cleaning staff were absolutely amazing also, and loved the little gesture of chocolate when room was serviced. Kitchen had everything also.

If I could critique anything visually it was the kitchen window (but it makes sense for accessibility given it's height and over the sink), the pipe for air-conditioning unit, and my OCD went a little crazy on the uneven light fixtures and power points.

Plenty of space, fresh and very clean, good facilities, great TV with Sky, very comfortable bed, great parking, excellent customer service - so friendly and helpful, plus there were snacks and drinks available to purchase at good prices, really handy when you don't want to find a dairy/service station

Such a lovely place the photos dot do it justice! The staff were lovely, and the owner was super friendly. It had everything you needed from cooking facilities comfy beds, and we had a out door area with a picnic table. The fridge is a great size, not a little one like most motels. Also the services daily eith the chocolates left behind were a lovely treat. The pool was cold and will be great if you're visiting in the summer, though we still jumped in! :) We will be visiting again.

Good location and being on bus route meant we didn't have to take car into city. Very helpful staff. Value for money in an accomodation-expensive city.

Please check power level on microwave. Had difficulty with internet but weather was extremely bad during our stay so that may have been the cause.

The bed was exceptionally comfortable. The shower lovely and warm with a good flow. The supplies were regularly topped up. Although the motel was close to the road. I never had any problem sleeping.

My only issue was with the heating. There was a smallish heat pump in the lounge which was open plan. Many nights I had to put a blanket over me while I watched TV. Oh and being older I found the couch a bit low

Location excellent night before surgery at Grace Hospital. Friendly welcome at reception. Plenty of space in 1 bedroom motel unit. Very comfortable and large bed. Complimentary biscuits a nice treat. Unit was very clean. No stairs was a bonus

Not much milk provided for tea/coffee. Although motel unit has recently been refurbished, it still shows signs of its age eg windows, doors, bathroom, outdoor space. Shower water pressure only average. Cost seemed a little high at $259 per night for a couple, maybe the large space provided could justify that?

The room was so clean and tidy. The beds were super comfortable. Having sky TV was a bonus to settle the children in the evening. Kitchen had everything we needed. Shower pressure was amazing and the bath was huge! Great location
