Stayed 3 nights 28/31st March. Mandy and all staff were warm and welcoming. Room comfortable with modern bathroom, but felt it could use a small drawer unit for clothing not suited to hangers (would fit inside wardrobe) well stocked hospitality tray replenished daily. Good choice of breakfast, evening meal delicious. Beautiful building, lovely areas inside and out to sit and relax. Our room overlooked the road, some traffic noise but this did not impact our sleep. Would highly recommend.

We stayed here three nights and the staff were all attentive and helpful. The quiet village location was excellent for our purposes of visiting the Malvern Hills and Hereford. It has a good size car park and a lovely beer garden with good beer & wine, with walks literally from the doorstep that were delightful. We had requested a Deluxe Double room and is was superb, it was large, with a balcony, well decorated, a clean spacious bathroom with a shower that was great, and a comfortable bed. The breakfast choice was good, and both breakfasts and evening meals were a really good quality at a reasonable price. We'd thoroughly recommend it to anyone visiting the area, overall it was excellent value and a lovely place to stay and eat.

Stunning old building. Very quaint and Christmassy. We had a leaky towel heater and the staff were amazing and changed our room straight away. Really good breakfasts, only improvement would be more pastries and more veggie/vegan options. But the full veggie breakfast was great! We've stayed before and would love to stay again.
I would always urge places to think about guests who apply makeup when thinking about their mirrors, lighting, chair options etc. And especially consider those who wear makeup and glasses who need to be close to a mirror. A moveable chair, full length mirror and good, non-harsh lighting is perfect for that. But clearly that's quite fussy, we had a great stay!

Accommodation and staff were excellent The only downside was the food on the Sunday evening . I know Sunday lunches are served most of the day but unfortunately two of our friends has lamb which was probably the end of the supply and there was not very much of it .It all felt a bit dried up . Should have complained but didn’t so I suppose it’s my fault . The Sunday menu we were given was not the Sunday menu on the website from memory so disappointing . Would I stay again , probably yes but I might look around the area to see if there are alternative places to eat on a Sunday.

- Large car park, plenty of spaces - Dog allowed in bar area - Great location for country walks - Extremely clean inside and out - Nice decor and well maintained grounds - Varied continental breakfast selection - Full English was rich and filling
- Small tv, size of A4 piece of paper - Lack of towel hooks, the shower was at the opposite end of the room to the towel rail - Slip hazards, shower tray, bathroom tiles - No storage options for toiletries - No iron - Different mattresses for each single bed pushed into a superking, uneven sizes - Only filter coffee at breakfast though coffee machine clearly on and not given as an option - Automatic 10% service charge at dinner. However, wrong drink order, gave a fork for a soup starter and scallop was cut into thirds

Lovely room and a friendly greeting, the ambience of the building together with the history which has been preserved throughout.
Although we had booked a table for dinner the service was extremely slow I think we had been forgotten! It took 2 hours to eat just two courses!! If we visit again we would probably eat in the bar. Also we were unable to order the dessert we wanted as there was none left (Thursday evening about 8pm) and when we ordered an alternative there was no custard available!! The breakfast was really good thanks

Great location, and the room was lovely, bathroom very good size.. The food was excellant, exceptional, and really, really good. The staff were friendly and helpful.
The Zip link bed, there was a very noticeable gap in the middle ... and one side was worn out more than the other.. fortunately, my husbands side ! I'm not a fan of zip link beds... so next time, I will check first and book a room with a normal double bed!

We loved the feel of the pub, the food was excellent and the girl working couldn’t do enough to make us comfortable.
We did have to ask for the main fire to be lit.. it seemed to be a bit of an inconvenience to the new guy who was working. Because we have already visited this place twice this year we really would like to use it as our get away. We where aware that it was the lovely girls last shift that day we left, we only hope that the staff that follow offer the sane atmosphere, friendliness and attentiveness as we have felt.

With our third visit in six years, we still like the Green Man as a stop-over on our way home. Its location is a good spot to have a break from driving down to the Dorset coast. Beds as comfy as ever, we also had a quiet room on ground level. Breakfast of great standard and tasty, good choice of toast, jams and cereals.
Over the years the rooms have become a bit tired, e.g. the small TVs are of low quality compared to today's standard, some buttons on the remote stopped working, the flush in the toilet was hanging out and not working properly, blinds and curtains are dated and couldn't be regulated. We would have appreciated an anti-slip mat in the shower and a rack for your own shampoo and shower gels. The portions in the restaurant seemed very small for the price. The sticky toffee pudding didn't arrive with the advertised honeycomb and after asking, it was suggested that the ice cream was honeycomb (which was definitely not!).

I booked this for my friend Gary. He went with his wife Kirsty, and really liked the place a lot. He said It’s an amazing atmosphere, "Couldn’t have chosen a more perfect Hotel/Pub". Also he told me the staff were excellent and accomodating, and that the food was excellent too. They had a dinner, saying the chicken was so succulent and well seasoned. "I ate very slowly savouring every mouthful"
The building is so old, and the floor beams bent, that the bed was not quite level. But he didn't mind too much as he loved the whole feel of the place.
