Lovely house just outside Ross with easy road links to places to visit. A very large bedroom, very quiet and a comfy bed and plentiful hot water for bath/shower. Good breakfast options including pancakes with streaky bacon, full english, smoked salmon, advocado. Delicious fruit compote. Warn and generous couple who couldn't do enough to make our stay a happy one - they advised on local things to do and see which was very helpful.

Nothing.

The hosts were very welcoming and offered great advice when we wanted to explore the local area. The room was spacious and clean, and tastefully decorated. Bed was very comfortable with stunning views of the garden and beyond. The bathroom was a mix of modern with some traditional features. Fantastic shower! Breakfast offered a mixture of cereal, fruit salad, toast and a fully cooked ranging from avocado on toast, full Herefordshire, or a mixture of ingredients if you wanted. I had scrambled eggs, beans on ciabatta and it was fantastic! Celia would accommodate any dietary needs or alternative breakfast requests. We would wholeheartedly recommend Bridstow Guest House and would love to return someday. Thank you Celia and Jon for contributing to a memorable weekend.

We loved the homely eclectic room - and house. Celia and Jon? were lovely, and my husband and I had several conversations with Jon about motor racing and music; he is very knowledgeable about both. Breakfast was amazing, the views and sunset spectacular. We were just far enough from Ross for peace and quiet, but close enough to have a lovely evening out. Avellinos is a cracking little Italian restaurant for dinner in Ross We went for a really nice evening walk down the lanes in the moonlight. Altogether a very pleasant experience. If you want a homely atmosphere it's perfect.

Not being able to stay longer! ( And the most interesting shops all being shut on a monday).

Property was extremely clean, beautiful views of the garden and surrounding countryside, food was absolutely top notch, and the hosts were so lovely. The entire stay was just wonderful. Also loved the dog!

If we were to nitpick I would say location was a bit tricky to find on the first day but afterwards it was familiar so no real issue.

Stunning property and beautiful bedroom and bathroom. We arrived in the dark and woke up to beautiful sunshine and views. The breakfast was excellent, and again we had beautiful views of the garden and beyond. The hosts were friendly and happy to share local knowledge on where we should visit and they helped us chose a restaurant. We didn’t want to leave!

Spacious room and big bathroom. Good breakfast avoiding other guests. Nice woodstove with fire in the evening. Easy walk to Ross on Wye and easy access to main road. Very nice owners. Quiet place with nice views.

Access road to property dark and narrow, we decided to drive in the evening if going out for a meal. Unlockable room door worth to be mentioned however we felt our belongings were safe.

I loved pretty much everything. The property is gorgeous, in beautiful spot and tastefully decorated. The room was enormous and wonderfully furnished with comfortable items. The bathroom was also huge to the combination of space offered by both rooms together created a great sense of exclusive comfort. Celia and her husband were fantastic company and the breakfast had a great choice with lots of options for a small place. If in the area again we would definitely stay there again and have no hesitation in recommending it to others. Enjoy!

Very little. Possibly greater clarity as to how far outside Ross town the property is. Although only a few minutes drive, it would be too far for most to conveniently walk into Ross, but this posed little problem as we had a car. Its really difficult to think of any down side about this place. We just wished we could have stayed longer.
