Just bed for one night. Doesn't do breakfasts hence the good price. Big room, oak beams etc. Everything we needed. Excellent location in the centre of Ross. Great Italian restaurant (Avellino) a few minutes walk. Lovely cafe for breakfast on RHS walking towards centre, right next to a delicatessant. Also very close.

We thought parking would be a problem but it was OK. The 2 hour street parking limit is 09:00 to 6:00 pm so as we arrived about 5:00 we were OK till 9:00 in the morning.

The rooms are very oldie-worldie - which is part of the charm and full of character, but don't expect the mod cons to be top notch. However you have everything you need for a good night with plenty of space in a great location. Decent bathroom, the mini, mini fridge for cold water is a nice touch. Not having breakfast suited us, and you are in a great location to find somewhere. Parking is relatively convenient and you can top it up through a phone app rather than having to re-do the meter in the morning. Keypad entry means you can come and go as you like. We used a double and a single room, the double was very large compared to modern hotel rooms, the single was more than big enough.

Even the negatives, in terms of wonky floors, low beams and tight bathroom, are part of the charm of staying in such an old building in a central location.

This was a beautiful atmospheric single room, decorated with real attention to detail. Although situated in the town, it was very quiet and staying in the old converted Court House was a wonderful experience. So often when travelling as a single person I find single rooms to be a little less luxurious than doubles - but this was the exception, and I really appreciated the care that went into making my stay memorable.

The building has fabulous atmosphere and incredibly historic. The double room was very spacious and very comfortable. The guest house is in the heart of Ross on Wye, just a very short walk to the main street. It was an incredible experience and we will definetly stay again.

This is not a complaint in anyway but the bathroom was very small. This may bother some people. However, I feel that the quality of the room would be severely compromised if the bathroom were to be any bigger.

Room and general decor was like stepping back in time. Antique furniture and paintings. Mini fridge with complimentary bottled water was welcomed in July '22 heatwave (de-luxe single) 5-10 min walk to shops, restaurants, pubs and Riverside walk. Welcoming hosts Chris & Cathy))

Information only - Car parking available around back opposite Phoenix Theatre and The Royal Hotel after 6pm (2hrs only prior 9-6 which gives you 9-11 to get breakfast the next day) 4hrs free parking in Riverside walk park, off Wilton Road before the bridge.

It's like staying in a museum. The place is a treasure chest of history which adds to the charm of the old court house. Rooms were well furnished and large. Have recommended to friends and family. Would stay again.

The place to have dinner recommendations..... Had bad service and below par meal at the Man on why pub. We did book a table for 9 PM (Spanish time of having dinner) but the dinner was a disappointment even though it was end of service. This is nothing to do with the old court house but the owner recommend this pub as good food.

We had all 3 rooms so no other guests and it felt very private and special. We loved the character of the property being from the 15/16 century. The location is very central and the garden was a lovely space to have breakfast in the sunshine .

Room had everything you needed. Location was really good, right in the town centre. A very old building with lots of character with a beautiful secluded garden at the rear of the property with views down to the river.

Not really anything the property can do to improve things but due to the nature of the building, it is not really suitable for anyone who has difficulty with stairs as there is a flight of stone steps into the property.

Nice location - lovely room - in a very quirky old building. View out over the Courtyard itself - looks medieval, and in a good way! Nice to see a bathtub, rather than just a shower.

No breakfasts. Still, Ross has plenty of early-dining restaurants, tea rooms etc.

Lovely big room in a good location. Christopher was welcoming and helpful, with recommendations for breakfast and dinner. Very old, characterful building. We thought it was good value for money.

Would have suited us better to have even a continental breakfast available as we needed to be out early each day. However we discovered the pub by the river started breakfast at 7 am so that was good for us.
