Nice staff at reception (thank you, Mina). Going the extra mile. Comfortable quiet room/bed (stayed on 10th floor). Ample parking under hotel. Breakfast very good. Very close to all entertainment venues.

Minimal roomservice after 2200 hrs, but brought our own snacks/drinks. Parking a tad expensive @ £21 for an overnight stay. View from rooms now obscured by high rise buildings.

The central location made it easy for us to explore the city, with shopping and dining options just a short walk away. The service was excellent – the staff were friendly, attentive, and made sure all our needs were met. We enjoyed a delicious dinner through room service, and the breakfast was quite impressive, with a wide variety of tasty options. Our room was clean, comfortable, and perfect for our family.

One downside of our stay was the lack of a swimming pool or play area for the kids, which would have been great for family relaxation. However, the hotel did try to make up for it by providing a small kit for the kids, including coloring books and other fun activities, which was a nice touch.

The staff were brilliant. Jordan on reception at check in, room wasn't sorted otherwise out along with complimentary drink whilst we waited. Room 510 turned out to have no hot water, to bath and shower which we found out in the morning. Again Jordan swiftly arranged another room on the same floor for us to use. Breakfast choice was very good, with excellent service from Jess (Malaysian lady) and Swylvia (Polish lady). Hotel is very well placed for a swiftly, easy walk into center, along a well lite route. Great car parking facility underneath the hotel.

The customer service and response rate were exceptionally commendable, and I love that they are always willing to assist. I particularly appreciated the convenient proximity to the city centre and train stations. Furthermore, It's got really lovely aesthetics and an environment for good pictures.

The room lighting wasn't so fantastic, especially at night. It's not bright enough if you need to do something really late. Also, I would have loved that complimentary breakfast ideas are improved like, if its a room booked for 2 adults for example, make available snacks and tea/coffee/hot chocolate and nice toffees or chocolates for the 2 guests.

The staff were excellent, could not do more for you, reception especially, and the young lady in restaurant, at the front desk.. Great customer services very friendly.

The only thing was the room we first had on the 2nd floor was right at the end it was a little dusty and a few crumbs on carpet we were near the stairwell.. And it was so noisy, because of the trains and people bashing the door to stairway, so had a bad sleep. We were moved to 5th floor, but this time 2 doors away from end still a little noisy.. But the room next to ours were the worst they were talking so loud from 11.30pm till 1.30am... Apart from that excellent hotel.. Jordon on reception was really genuine and took our complaint seriously.

I like Crowne Plaza their family room we've stayed was big, spacious compare to the other hotels we stayed in the past. When it comes to staffs kindest, friendly, caring, and welcoming that's sylwia in the canteen, she is amazing and so welcoming make sure everyone in that restaurant eats. My kids couldn't stop talking about her how caring she was to everyone in that canteen, running backwards and forwards toping foods in a buffet time and walked to asking each and everyone if they okay, if the customers needs help she will be there as quickly as she could to give customers needs. All the hotels we've experienced we've never seen this kind of hospitality like silwia does. Because of this experienced my kids said mum whenever we come to Birmingham can we stay in Crowne Plaza Hotel because silwia has made our day. Thank you so much to all.

We stayed for 2 nights. Family room there was not enough towels only 2 towels and we were Family of 4, we had to managed to use that 2 towels.Two 2 people sharing one towel.

Lovely hotel. 10 mins walk from New Street train station. Practically next door to Mailbox which is def worth a visit. Fabulous breakfast. Easy walk to Christmas Market.

As I was staying with my daughter to celebrate her 21st birthday, I picked a room with 2 double beds and requested a room with a nice view which sadly we didn't receive. We were allocated a room at the front facing all the traffic. I also expected something complementary for her special birthday as we've received previously when we've stayed away for a special occasion but disappointingly nothing was received.

The hotel was clean, well maintained, and although I thought the rooms were OK, there are plans in the foyer showing updates that are in the pipeline. Staff were all friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great, with a large selection to choose from. Hot food was actually hot. Hotel is nearby many attractions in Birmingham. Room was large, bed very big, comfortable, room was equipped with all necessary appliences and toiletries.

We could hear a squeal coming from the lift in our room that did keep me awake and affected my quality of sleep. The hotel is up a hill from the teain station, so may not be suitable for some people.

Everything went well. A short walk from New Steet station and a short walk to the Symphony Hall. The staff are very friendly, the room was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast choice was excellent.

A small irritation of mine, and this applies to many hotels not just this one, is the room lighting. It has many lights but not necessarily where they would be most effective. For example there is no lighting in the area where you are making a cup of tea in morning, and the lighting around the wardrobe area could be a lot better.

On arrival we were greeted by Jordan, who was super helpful and checked us in even though we were an hour early. Jordan was super efficient, friendly and even offered us advice for our concert that night, which was much appreciated!! Room was clean, modern and comfortable!! Shower was hot and powerful as well as providing showers gel and shampoo. Pillows are super comfy!! Air con was defo appreciated on a warm day!! The whole hotel looked fantastic!!

Plugs next to bed were under shelf so a little hard to access, especially if you were less mobile to get down.
